Just wanted to pop on in and say Hi to everyone.

Here's my menu for today:
Tentatively scheduled:
B-coffee, cinnamon/glucc "oatmeal" w/1tbsp hwc, 1tbsp melted butter
L-1hb egg/1 pack tuna/1tbsp light mayo/pickled jalapenos/mustard mixed up
S-if I work out (my whole body is aching ATM), hb egg/s probably
D-25 medium shrimp, 1 1/4 cup broccoli slaw, 1garlic clove, 1tbsp CO,1tbsp soy sauce, all stir fried together. Oooh maybe add an egg or two like in fried rice. Yeahhhh
S-if needed, more glucc "oatmeal", or maybe a lemon glucc pudding I'm thinking about making, or hb egg, or egg drop soup.

Hi, my name is Ivette, hope you have room for one more. I would like to join your group. My goals for this year is to loose the last 35 pounds to get to my goal weight of 160 lbs. I've been reading your thread and you all are very supportive, without being critical. and that is the kind of motivation I need.

Welcome Ivy! This group is awesome. I wouldn't have been able to get where I am without them. They are with me no matter if I'm on plan or fall off. I hope you find the support you need.

So I think I decided I want to make some Glucc/parm bread and have some type of sandwich for dinner instead of the shrimp. Or maybe use the shrimp. IDK, Im going to get me a new convection oven today so I can bake things again. I miss it.

Welcome to the group Ivy!

Michelle, is a convection oven the same as a toaster oven? I have one that has never been used and probably never will be. Too bad you live all the way in Tx though.

B - slept through it
L - HUGE omelet made with bacon and cheese, coffee and cream
D - peanuts

Maybe some coconut bark later for a treat

Checking in on my LC family.

Welcome Ivy, make yourself at home.

Man I am sore today from yesterdays step class! We do lots of lunges so my butt and legs are feeling it.

Michelle, come on girl lets kick the 230's to the curb! ... Oh and your shrimp supper sounds yummy.

Good Morning!
Thank you for the welcome. I'm looking foward this year to be able to loose this weight and keep it off, I think that's the hardest.

Michelle- that's one of the things i miss the most bread, last night i found a couple of low carb bread recipes for the bread machine, i'm going to try. I'm not the best baker, so i have to use the machine.

Nikki-You look awsome!
Abber & Oct2667
Hope we all have a good low carb day!

First off, JAW DROP! Nikki, girl you look amazing! Damn you are one hot lady. You have done a fantastic job, such an inspiration, especially for me. We've been PIC's since I started, and we are going to reach this goal together, that's just crazy! Keep it up girl. You inspire me to go work out too

Abber-Yes it's the same as a toaster oven. I got one for $20 yesterday, a black & decker, it's awesome! Made some salami/egg cups last night in it and they are delish. I ate them all Lol.

Melinda-Great job for staying on plan. Every day you post with us and say you are, I'm so proud of you. I know you have struggled in the past.

Ivy- carbs were hard for me to give up at the begining, because so much of our food revolves around carbs, IE-rice under entrees, bread around any kind of sandwich, fillers to make meals stretch. But after you do this for so long, it's second nature. I haven't tried a lot of the real type bready recipes because I tend to not lose weight while eating things like that. I am pretty sure I'm wheat/gluten intolerant just because I gain weight after I eat it, even if it's low carb. I don't like taking those chances, so I get creative, and find creative people to help me make recipes that mimic high carb items. The Glucc/Parm bread/rolls is the best sub I've found and it has no effect on my weight loss. I love the stuff.

June- Where ya at mamma?

Down to 238.6 today 2.7lbs to go to to see 235.anything which was my goal. I hope I make it. Even if I don't I'm steadily in the 230's which makes me happy.

Menu for today:
B-coffee/hwc/sf vanilla syrup, 1 salami/egg cup w/horshradish mustard
L-tuna/mayo/1hb egg/jalapeno/mustard
D-Either a tilapia sandwhich on glucc/parm bread, or a couple hot dogs on glucc/parm hot dog buns
S-sunflower seeds, salami/egg cups w/horshradish

K lemme go find some pictures for yall.

Michelle, I love looking at your progress pics! You look fabulous! I'm so excited that as PIC's we are kicking some butt!

I went to step class this morning and Julie (the instructor) kicked my butt. But I feel great afterwords. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm actually enjoying working out.

I weighed 235.6 this morning. I'm so glad to see the water weight gone!

I know Nikki, it sucks! I wish I had a workout buddy here

I'm just a noob to workout classes, I've never been to one, so I'm kind of nervous because I don't know what to expect.

Nikki and Michelle, AMAZING! Love seeing the progress. Congratulations on your accomplishments so far, both of you! Really, really cool to see this.

I stopped at Starbux this morning, my low carb choice there is an unsweetened iced coffee, and I add HWC and splenda. Haven't ordered it in a while though, first time since I restarted. Well it wasn't my usual Starbux lady, who always knew that I needed the iced coffee PLAIN because if you don't say that they automatically add sugar. So, when I ordered it as "Venti Unsweetened Iced Coffee, with room." I didn't watch the guy to see if he did it right. And when I drank some it tasted like, too good. Then I thought back on it and realized that when he repeated back my order he just said "venti iced coffee with room?" What if he added sugar? I only drank like a third of it but I'm worried.

B - peanut butter Atkins bar

L - tuna salad with cheese

D - leftover chili.

Took a nap after work today, I did the same thing last Wednesday too. For like almost two hours. Wednesdays are rough because I work late Tuesday nights until 8:15 and then Wednesday I work at 6:30am. I used to come home and binge on terrible junky snacks. Looking back on it, maybe that was out of tiredness. Probably a good idea to take a little nappy instead of stuffing myself silly!

Hi Everyone-

Wow! the transformation pics look awesome!

Congrats to Nikki and Michelle and anyone else who got some exercise in and/or stayed on plan WOOHOO! KUTGW!

On a personal note, went to see my surgeon this past Tuesday and he told me something I have never had a doctor say to me "You need to eat more." I almost fell out of the chair. *L* He seems to think if I up my calories, protein and water, I will lose faster and better. He stated when he sees me April 10th for my 6 month follow up, he expects me to have lost between 30 and 45 more pounds than when I saw him. Yowza! But, I think I might just be able to do it so I'm going to work hard...if I max out the amount he stated, I would be under 250...what a wonderful (if tiny bit late) birthday/easter present that would be to myself! Anyway, that's my new goal. I also met with a personal trainer for the first time today and now have an exercise program that was designed for me that I am committed to for the next 12.5 weeks.

Hope everyone is doing well!

**hugs***

Good morning ladies!

Michelle, remember this feeling so the next time you don't feel like going you will remember how good you feel afterwords. I'm committed to 3 days a week. At some point I will up it to 4 days, but for now 3 is good.

Laura, it's the same way for me. If I eat under my WW points too many days a week then I don't lose well. But if I meet my daily points I lose better. It's funny how our bodies work. I'm glad you have a trainer. When is your first workout?

to all.

Sorry I've been a lurker lately. You are all doing such a good job with the exercise and the eating!! I am eating okay, but my exercise has been off because I am still needing someone to help me get dressed after I shower, so the lady who helps me can only do it right after I get home from work...so...there's no time for me to exercise and get sweaty before I need to shower and I can't do it yet without her help, etc... However, the weekend is here and I'm not as concerned with it all when I don't have to go to work, so I will be walking tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday.

In any case, keep up the good work, Everyone, and have a super Friday!

Laura- you are doing great. Shoot even if you only lost 20-30lbs that would be a lot. You should be very proud of yourself.

Ivy-You look great! Keep it up.

Hot-I hope you heal soon so you don't have to be so restricted.

Abber -your menu sounds delicious

Nikki-Yes I feel great, well I did feel great. I'll elaborate more in a min after your personal. You are doing so well, I'm so glad WW is something you have found you can stick to. I'm curious of what kind of things you are eating? I know nothing about WW.

So me, I'm frustrated. I've been working my ass off the last 2 days at the gym, and what do I have to show for it? A gain. Up to 239.2. I'm so freaking frustrated. It's like, WTH am I even doing this for? I'm so sore today I can hardly walk. The step class on Wednesday was really hard, and all cardio, but I got through the whole 1:15, even though I wanted to quit at the 30 minute mark. Well last night I took an ab/glute class, and now I can hardly walk because my calves are so sore. Seriously. The classes are awesome, but it's frustrating to do all the right things and gain. I really thought I could make 235 this week. But hell I can't get past 238. Yeah yeah, I'm sure its my muscles retaining water or some crap like that, but still. As soon as I got off the scale I immediately thought of off plan food, like screw it, I'm gaining anyways, go get a doughnut or some taco bell. I didn't. But now I don't want to eat anything. I'm just frustrated.

I'm not going to work out today because I'm so sore. I do think I'll go use the hot tub at the gym to see if it will help my sore muscles.

I would post a menu today, but honestly I don't know. I'm discouraged from eating at this point.
