Ooh that's tough! Invest in a very supportive pair of shoes and get yourself some gel insole cushions. That, with the pain killer is the best solution I can think of.

When you get home from work, definitely put your feet up for at least 15 minutes, above your heart. Even if you have to lay down on the floor and put your legs up onto the couch.
And before you go to bed give each foot a good rub down, too. Congrats on the new job! |

I am on my feet 40 hours a week and I wear the Clarks "nurses" shoes. They have a great arch support. I also wear a tennis shoe with a good arch support insert. I paid $50 for the inserts, but it is worth it because I don't have aching feet, legs and hips.
