I love naps. My only problem is that once I'm asleep I take 4 hour naps. I've never been one of those people who can lay down for 20 mins and wake up refreshed. My mom is like that. She takes a nap every day.

Chewie..I was telling my son, that I wished his school streamed the games online...it would be fantastic.. especially for those who have family or friends who play the game...I am just a band mom!! LOL....

Tami.. first of all I hope your daughter gets better soon...funny how some of our kids have been sick and we don't even live close to each other...my son is finally starting to feel better and I hope Lani does too...

OMG MONA!! we are sisters.. because I love 4 hour naps... before my thyroid pill I took 4 hour naps...if I lay down and sleep for 20 minutes I feel worse than when I started...

The beginning of As the 5th wheel rolls! hehehe

Her Monday started like most Mondays do. The shrill warning of the alarm clock brought her out of a delicious dream. “Drat” she muttered to herself as she hit the snooze button. Perhaps if she fell immediately back asleep she could see where the dream was going. Miranda lay there, eyes closed, listening to the sound of her husband snoring. There was no way she was going to get back to sleep now.

She crawled out of bed, being careful not to hit her head on the roof of their travel trailer. She then made the leap that took her out of the bed onto the bathroom floor. “Cozy” She thought to herself as she side stepped over her husband’s slippers and stepped directly on a cat’s tail. Grabbing her ‘walk the dog’ clothes she got dressed and stepped into her fuzzy boots.

Five feet away the coffee pot had begun its morning ritual of spitting and sputtering the magic elixir. Miranda removed the cover from Fred dog’s kennel and reached in and scratched his soft chin. He looked up at her with his big brown eyes and very clearly pleaded “Five more minuets mom.”
“Oh no you don’t!” Miranda chided. “If I have to be up then you have to be up too! Let’s go mister.” With a giant sigh Fred crawled out of the kennel, shook his entire body and yawned for dramatic effect. She clipped on his leash with a chuckle and they were out the door.

I am thankful that I have this weight loss problem to deal with. I could have been born and raised in a third world country where weight loss would be a blessing not a curse. Does that make sense?

DS13's team lost. Boohoo!!! There were a number of bad calls and the crowd let the ref know too. It got ugly. He got hit super hard and has a bad headache. 2 of his teammates saw it happen and they both went and took the kid that did it out. They both hit him hard. Hope it's not a concussion. It was helmet to helmet.

It was cold and I'm cranky now. TOM and losing and dh's car is going in the shop for that leak he's having. Grrrrrrr Life stinks sometimes.
