Yep, my boy is 6'4" and wears a size 14 shoe. I am the shorty in the family at 5'6", but DH is 6'5". Finding jeans with a 34/36 inseam has gotten easier. We saw a nice peacoat in Target the other day and we've been looking for one for DS, but the pockets were up too high and the coat looked too short, so off we go to Burlington Coat Factory later today to look for a "tall" one, hopefully we find one that fits.

You know, I still look at how tall DS is and smile because he was 6 weeks premature and so tiny when he was born, skin and bones.
Wow, Eliza! That is amazing!! Have fun shopping!! DD and I have to go find black skirt or pants and shoes for her choir concert Tues. night. I am taking a little break here. Just finished making pumpkin pancakes for everyone and cleaning the kitchen. I have done two loads of laundry and need to go iron 3 shirts before we head out. But I am resting for a bit!

it is a sheetrock lift!! so Ken could lift the sheetrock for the ceiling by himself or with myand Steven's help... really a life saver cause we couldn't have done it any other way holds it in place while you get it screwed securely! big big help!!

i can help build and work on vehicles, do yardwork, but housekeeping and cleaning really eludes me!

I am soooooo not looking forward to upcoming battles. I know from his comments that he thinks he can just drive wherever he wants, whenever he wants because he can legally drive. Yeah, the law may say he can drive but momma didn't say that! And whose car and gas is it anyway?! We just got an email yesterday from the principal at my daughter's middle school. One of her fellow 6th graders was in a car accident on Thursday night. She was in the car with her dad and a friend when a car driving the wrong way down 69 Hwy hit them head on at 70 mph. Their car was hit an additional 4 times by other vehicles as well. Miraculously, everyone survived. However, the little girl has serious face and head injuries. I really feel for her family. Mom was staying in hospital with her daughter who had regained consciousness but dad was in a different hospital. Can't imagine the stress she is going through!

I am glad you have been steadily losing as it will make things much easier for you at Universal studios if there is as much walking and standing on your feet involved there as there is at Disney! Will you be on hcg then or off? Is it over Thanksgiving week? Please take lots of photos for us!!
i will be OFF HCG! planned that way so i can EAT at The Three Broomsticks!! thank you for the compliment
sigh kenny and Ashley went to Rocky Horror last night too and kenny used to work at that theater and there was a problem and kenny wasn't going to offer to help(way out of character for the person he USED to be) LOL i piped up HE used to work here and can contact the manager HE HE HE

disc messed up(did anyone know they use DVDS now instead of MOVIE FiLM kooky) and one of the other patrons had a dvd and that is what we finished the movie with but no one knew how to get the attention of the person in the booth but Kenny did and got it up there
but that just highlighted how much my son has changed
and it wasn't as fun as last year only ONE of the cast that rehearsed had shown up Steven jumped right in , worked the crowd and played every part they couldn't get others to do! LOL Brad , Riff Raff Dr Scott EVEN COLUMBIA! umm several girls were dressed as Columbia i don't see why if they were brave enough to dress like that they wouldn't help in the show?? but Steven grabbed one of their sparkly hats and TAP DANCED his way through the number LOL
Steven is SOOO shy at everything else but put him on stage tell him it is a CHARACTER he is playing and he comes alive
think i can convince him LIFE is just a stage??

chewie, you should add me on ************. I love that app!

Deb, I honestly had no idea they didn't use Movie Reels anymore. They use DVDs? Wow, that is surprising. I wonder if it's a certain kind of DVD player so only the "new" movies can be played on it.

I ended up bored this morning after my walk with Toto so I went to Kroger and bought some stuff. I finally found a Whey protein powder that I could afford. I looked around on here and made a Chocolate Peanut Butter shake. It was really good and very very filling. I'd never had one before, but I think I want to start doing them in the mornings instead of cooking because alot of the time I just don't want to cook. I think I may be a protein shake addict now, lol. It was so good!

Eliza, I'll snap a picture of Toto here in a little while and try to upload it. She loves a camera, lol.

I had a full day yesterday with all my visiting. I came home, got in a good workout and then a good nights sleep. It's still so chilly here that I'm dreading taking the dog out for our walk. We talk longer on the weekends which wasn't so bad when it was warmer, but we're in the 40's today so I'll need to bundle up. She will love it though.

I went to Wal-Mart again this morning and I think I'm going to cry. I'm not sure if this has happened in other areas or not, but my local store has stopped selling the Great Value brand of Pizza Sauce. I use that all the time when I make my pizza topping casserole. It was only a buck and had less carbs than any other pizza sauce. It only had four carbs per serving and the other two sauces that Wal-Mart carries both have six carbs. I find it bizarre that they no longer sell their own store brand, but it's been almost two weeks since I've seen it in the store and my supply is all gone.

It is times like these that I want to start stockpiling all my favorite LC goodies. I really wish I had done that with other condiments in the past, like the Heinz LC BBQ sauce and I always fear they'll do away with the One Carb Ketchup (aka Low Sugar Ketchup) that I use so much.
ACCKKK!!! oh no!! i will have to check tomorrow!! it is even one i can have while dosing on HCG! oh man if they have it tomorrow i am going to buy all they have dang NAB! but they do that with EVERYTHING i like it seems UGH

Kroger has their own brand that is similar and only has 4 carbs per serving. It's not the same, but will work I guess.

I've got to run up to Walmart when Lani gets home. That was one store we didn't make it to yesterday. I just couldn't drag my poor tired feet into one more store yesterday. lol And I'm going to look for a street map book.
Tami, a GPS really helps, they have become quite inexpensive now. Our Metroplex is very spread out too and I couldn't make it without my Garmin.

Back from Burlington Coat Factory and Walfarts. Found a nice fancy coat for DS, a Guess brand coat for $79.99, down from $249. DH got a cost-effective work jacket for $24.99!, and I got a nice pair of grey pants for work.

Then off to Walfarts and I got a ham, and a smoked turkey. I finally broke down and got me a produce keeper thingy, cause we throw away tons of produce, a set of glass bowls with lids that I've been looking at on Amazon (great for refrigerating stuff without the poisons emitted by plastic), and a pair of silicone-tipped tongs, plus, a new mandolin because the old one was on its last leg. Happy, happy

P.S., I wish we lived close to each other, we all like shopping and deals, we could make a day out of it with store browsing, then lunch and conversation......aaaaah, that would be so nice!

Ohhh I got really really really grumpy at the walmart yesterday. I swear 8:30 on a saturday night was, of all things, coupon time. What the fork? Everyone had their war and peace book of coupons and 50 ads that they were price matching.

Now I am all for saving money, but shouldnt they have their own check out lines so they don't hold up every register in the store? OHHH and if walmart price matches why don't the great powers of walmart make their prices the same as the other stores for everyone?? I am just sayin...

Ok off my egg crate...

Sorry Lony. I didn't realize I was standing in line in front of you. LOL

I know Walmart should just lower their prices to match the local stores but they don't want to give everyone a discount. Most people don't realize you can price match or just don't want to go through the trouble. I LOVE price matching at Walmart however I haven't done it here yet.

I buy lots of different stuff when it is free. I'm donating all of those potato chips to my arch enemy. She is just way too skinny and can't pass up a chip to save her life.

Lony, I hear you, it is frustrating to be in line behind someone digging through for coupons! I try to save on big items, but no patience to save on a hundred little items. The funniest for me is my MIL driving 25 miles one way to a gas station to save 3 cents per gallon....it's like jeese, you spent more than you saved and wasted your time

All the stuff they have coupons for is either too expensive to begin with and I can save tons more just by buying a value brand, or a highly processed food item that is bad for you. No coupons for meat or veggies I do price match at Walfarts, but only meat so I don't hold up the line. Saving 2c a lb on cabbage makes no sense to me.
