Yep, reduce inflammation but they're evil. Good night.

I have to say I adore my Flip camera. I take video of everything and then pick out the snapshots I want. I don't even use my digital camera anymore.

Sorry guys I've been tuning in and out. The iPad has been dropping the wireless like crazy and I'm too lazy to go to the computer. So I'm just sitting in my comfy chair, trying to post, switching between the game, "Supernatural" and posting...The game currently sucks for us

Lony were all the gingerbread houses from the same time or different years? Did you make a whole town? I am thinking of doing a gingerbread house decorating party for dd and her friends. I am going to use graham crackers as the "gingerbread" parts though 'cuz I do not cut and roll anything!

Archie is so cute....I think Vanilla is a bit cranky and won't allow any amorous overtures. I love smaller dogs with short little legs and big eyes. Can I just clone Fredburger?

Glad I can't use my bad words on here and glad no one can hear me right now. What a &@$/ that baseball game was! I hear loud sobbing all through TX! But it's our fault, some of the Rangers' players made some really stupid mistakes.

Laura, I just grate a handful of cheese (I like to use cheddar) but you can use any kind. Put it in a circle in a non-stick skillet and cook over medium heat. As it cooks I sort of work a spatula around the edges to see if it's getting browned enough to flip. Then I flip it, which is sometimes sort of tricky because it is very floppy and it wants to fold up on itself. Then I cook the other side. You don't want to cook it till it's hard and burned. Just nicely browned. Then I drape it over a rolling pin so it can cool into sort of a taco shape.

Deb if the HCG protocol is too stressful for Steven right now, can he just do regular low carb? Since he's a kid he probably doesn't even need to get all hard core about it. I'll bet he can tolerate more healthy carbs even. Sounds like he gets some exercise with you walking. I think just some minor changes to his diet would get him losing. I don't know about Universal Studio...but I've ridden all the rides at Disney at 350 pounds. Since there is no info on the Universal website maybe you can search for some user message boards and see what they have to say. Good luck!

Hi Winifred! Nice to see you.

Lony are you sure you didn't secretly give birth to Emma? Cuz she doesn't really look like her parents. She looks like you. haha.

Melinda congrats on losing some inches, and a chin! Did you end up having to go thru the cricket gauntlet last night to get your son?

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend! This is my last day off. I'm happy because I've gotten a lot done already. So many times I screw around my first 2 days then I have to cram everything into the 3rd day off.

Yesterday I got one whole package of Costco ground beef broken down into hamburger patties. Preseasoned too! I made 25 patties. Woot! Those are great for DH because he does know how to cook a hamburger when he's starving and I'm not around or awake.

Today I'm making taco meat and one of the chuck roasts. I also need to fry up the rest of my pork chops. Then there is veggie & salad prep.

Bye for now.

Mona--congrats. That's a lot of work. Hopefully you'll feel more relaxed when your days off are over after spreading your work out over the 3 days vs cramming it all into one day!

Eliza-- I am sorry about your Rangers. Truly, I am not being sarcastic!! I didn't see any real, major errors on their part last night. In fact, I was on pins and needles the entire game wondering if Texas would come back as the Cardinals had done the night before! I thought they played extremely well during this season and the Series #6 game was so exciting and they were a part of it. I even heard talk of that game on NPR and they said it is likely to go down as one of the most exciting World Series games ever. Like I said before, I would have been okay with Texas winning if I hadn't already been a Cards fan. Usually, I root for the underdog so I would have gone with the Rangers because they had never had a World Series Champion title vs now 11 for the Cardinals.

I am up early because ds has a Swimathon this a.m. However, he doesn't want to go now. Says since I am just going to pay the $150 what's the point of him going to swim laps? Grrrrrrr. I have to go drive all the way over there anyway to take the plates, cups, napkins for the breakfast afterwards. I hate that we have to do a fundraiser. I can't stand fundraising!!! Why don't they just add $150 to your annual bill and divide it by 12 months? Really gripes me. Not just swim team fundraiser but fundraising everywhere --including schools!!! I know that I am not alone in this as I hear people moaning about this every year. It is one of the things we all hate about back to school! As soon as school starts you are bombarded with fundraisers and when you have kids in elementary, middle, and high plus all your neighbors kids and adding in Boy Scout Popcorn Sales and Girl Scout Cookie Sales--truly something I can't stand!! Gives me ulcers worrying about it. Ok. I should take a deep breath now........... Sorry for the rant!

Good Morning. Up early to send the DH off to work. I wanna go back to bed. hehehe

I am with you kcmama with all the sales. Well except for girl scouts. DH could eat a case of thin mints. We were going to put a no solicitors sign on the door with the clause...except for girl scouts. hehehe

I am going to check the the old checkbook and probably go get some hamburger at Costco today. Twenty bucks for 8 pounds is way better then any grocery store around. I need to get trick or treat candy too. I don't know how many, if any, we get will get here but I would hate to have to give out laundry soap.

Dear Phenomenal Girl,

Is there something that is eating at you? Is there something that you are having a hard time moving past, and you are just shoving it down and down and down to avoid it?

Painful things grow when you shove them down into the darkness. Painful things just want to be heard out. They want their time to tell you how they see things, what they are afraid of, and what they need before they will go away. Sit down and ask your pain what it wants you to know. Then tell your pain thank you for what it is teaching you, and let it know that it's okay to go now. You don't need it any more.

Pain is a gift and a wonderful teacher. Try not to avoid it, but to listen to its lessons. Soon you will find that your pain becomes something of beauty and truth, and it just doesn't hurt any more.

You are wonderful, amazing, and beautiful -- and so very very loved.

xoxo

Just wanted to say good morning....I hear you Kcmama!!! I agree...Mona, well this sounds odd, but when my son called.. he was so sick...I just threw on a dress no bra and ran out to get him...I saw his girlfriend and ask who won..and where is my kid already...and then took him home.. he wanted to leave the band uniform, the backpack with the school computer in it, in the car.. so we scrapped about that. I told him please take it out. I am going to the dentist this morning...all I need is heaven forbid that stolen.. so when I got inside I didn't even think about it...good thing is that weather dipped to 50 degrees so I guess it was a deterrent...ok off to Walfarts.. the dentist. etc..

Morning ladies!

I had an awesome workout last night, then a good nights sleep, an early morning run to Wal-Mart, fixed some pumpkin ceral for breakfast, and now just got back in from a nice long walk with the pup. I think my morning is full enough without laundry and cleaning the kitchen, then it's off to home to visit my grandmother and check in on the new baby. Saturdays are very busy for me all of a sudden. I guess there are worse things.

It was so cold outside, there was actual frost on my windows this morning and it's in the 40's right now. Winter, here we come!
