I can't believe its time to start July already! I'm so excited - this is the month that my hubby gets to come home on R&R but I'm not ready yet - i've got to seriously get busy cleaning up the house (mainly finding all his tools that I "borrowed" and get them back in the tool box!). I was really good today - even somehow managed to pass up homemade oatmeal raisin cookies and sherbet at quilting today (oatmeal are my all time favorite!). The kiddo's are all spending the night with friends so not only do I get a night off - I get to shop by myself tomorrow! Whoo hoo. Should be a lot cheaper without all the "mom, can I get..." Anyway, I think i'm going to go pop my contacts out and settle in with a new book but to keep my accountability going -
B: couple of slices of lunchmeat (pastrami)
L: LG protein shake (vanilla cinnamon - kinda tasted a bit like eggnog)
D: rotisserie chicken from Walmart + about 1/2 c. cobb salad
S: hot tea w/ stevia, sm. handful of almonds, mozzarella cheese nuked into a cracker
H2O: not good yet - but i'm going to take a big cup with me when I go read - probably only about 32 oz. so far but I promise I'll get in at least 32 more before I go to bed.

Hope everyone has a really good night and i'll chat at ya tomorrow. 'night.

It's still June here, so I posted on the other thread, but wanted to pipe in here, too.

Bro and SIL coming here for the weekend - I'm really excited about their visit but have much to do to get the house ready. And our Vacation Bible School starts on the 11th, which means I have loads of prep to do in the evening, so I may not be back to read & post for 2 or 3 weeks...
...unless of course I actually have a loss on the scale, and then you'll definitely hear from me.

Hey everyone I thought I would make a fast post before I try to get some sleep. This has been a crazy Day I stayed at the Hospital last night with my Niece then had to rush Home to take my Mom for her Radiation at 11am just when we are about to walk out the Door they called and said the equipment was down and to come at 1:30.
Ok great no sleep and now have to wait a couple of hours before I can lie down I get her there and they are so backed up she is in there until almost 3:30 get Home driving in a storm with flooded roads to the Cable and internet down. I call Verizon and give up after 40 minutes on hold and just try to take a nap I slept for about an hour before I heard the Dogs going nuts it was Verizon telling my Mom that something went down in our Neighborhood and everything should be back up in a few minutes.
So I decide I should try to eat something since I had not ate all day and I made a Smoothie with Greek yogurt,Calorie Countdown Milk, Strawberries, Protein Powder and Davinci's it was pretty good but I am weird I hate drinking calories LOL

I got on the PC for a bit but was too tired to really concentrate and ended up eating 2 Burger Patties with Cheese for Dinner so Food was not great and I know I did not eat enough but eating makes me feel yucky when I am tired.

I am too tired to sleep but I know I need it because tomorrow starts another day of running taking My Mom to treatment then picking up my Sister taking her to the Hospital to be with Mercy since she is not supose to drive after her shoulder surgery today unless Kathie needs me to stay there I am just going to visit Mercy briefly and head home.

So sorry for all my run on sentences and bad grammar I am too tired to proofread LOL Hopefully I will get some time to start actually responding to what everyone else is doing and not just posting my stuff.

MIN- I'll bet there's a lot of excitement around your home anticipating your hubbys R&R. Congrats for not caving in to the oatmeal cookies.

DEE- Good night. Have pleasant dreams.

RUTH- You need to get a little busier around the house!! jk

BETH- Its always nice to have family visit. Your going to be busy for the next couple of weeks. Well I hope you have to make time to visit us!! If you get what I mean.

JANN- What a hectic day you had. I hope your niece has a qiuck recovery from her shoulder surgery.
I always keep your mom in my prayers. Its got to be really worrisome and emotional caring for someone with cancer. I hope her treatments result in her being totally cancer free.
Jann post what you want, its just great seeing you back where you belong.

Well I think, I'll go see what's up in some of the other forums before I turn in. Later folks.

i am very tired....after all the kids were gone, i had the errand to run to the store, made dinner, cleaned up, straightened up house and gave toddler a bath...got him settled in bed and went for my two mile walk...came home and my guy had gotten him OUT of bed to watch cartoons on the computer...why??? i have no idea *shakes head*...sometimes the little kid in him gets the best of my guy...so then we started bedtime OVER at 9 p.m. and i finally had to go sit with toddler for him to actually fall asleep...older son is still up in his room pretending to go to sleep but i know he's not LOL...im going to bed now nite

well guys i didn't want to post the words Christmas in July because everyone uses that! so i thought maybe elves! and in some folklore elves are tall, thin, beautiful and ethereal!! remember Legolas and Arwen in the Lord of the Rings movies??? Orlando Bloom and Liv Tyler??? yeah that's us!,

i think i have withdrawn from the human race anyways! i haven't been to Curves in one month today..i was fully intending to get up and go this morning got the best sleep from 11pm -4am this morning when DH got home from work..i should have just stayed up didn't go back to sleep for an hour or so and am just now getting up my friends are at Curves at 8am so i ain't driving 25 miles to work out with people i don't know..... i know that's just another excuse....gotta go make myself shower i am ripe...didn't get in there yesterday like i said i am just out of it

Saluting our troops and their families at home...

July Independence is bought at a dear price by troops and families all through history - so hug a vet and reach out to a family who waits at home for that homecoming that we all pray for. Bring our troops home safe to their families!

good morning i like elves...i want to be tall and thin and beautiful...but MOSTLY i just want the pointy ears can i, can i pleaseeee??? lol

ya know there's this theory out there...quantum physics n all...that we are on just one of many, many vibrational levels and on these other levels, that our eyes cant even see, but existing just right along with us...are these other creatures such as faeries, elves and scarier things...that this is where we get the mythological versions of demons and hell and monsters under the bed etc...that "going down to hell" is just a lowering of our vibrational level after death so we can see such creatures...and that "going up to heaven" is a raising of the vibrational level and seeing such creatures after death that exist at a faster vibrational level than our physical body

don't worry...all my friends roll their eyes at me too

ya know there's this theory out there...quantum physics n all...that we are on just one of many, many vibrational levels and on these other levels, that our eyes cant even see, but existing just right along with us...are these other creatures such as faeries, elves and scarier things...that this is where we get the mythological versions of demons and hell and monsters under the bed etc...that "going down to hell" is just a lowering of our vibrational level after death so we can see such creatures...and that "going up to heaven" is a raising of the vibrational level and seeing such creatures after death that exist at a faster vibrational level than our physical body

don't worry...all my friends roll their eyes at me too
i am right there with ya Ruth! i have always believed in other dimensions and the multiverse...there is more out there than our little minds can comprehend

Afternoon Deb. Yes, don't miss your mornings. I know what you're going through. I've been there myself. (((hugs)))

Just keeping trying...you will get through this.
