Hope you do some reflecting to see where you were last year.....did you reach any goals? Did you backslide a bit? Did you make plans for a healthier you? Are you better off now than you were a year ago?

And for this year.....what are your plans? No unrealistic promises, just do the best you can. You owe it to yourself. You deserve it. Everyone else in your life will benefit from a healthier you, but the ultimate winner is YOU.

im here.. and my goal for 2009 is to learn to LOVE ME! not what size i am.. and then i know that the rest will follow!

i miss my kids.. they are all over the place.. my son is huting and got his first one today.. a button buck but at least he shot something!

Happy new year! 2009 has been pretty good so far. we are really enjoying our wii! first day on the wii challenge. i have until the 10th to improve my scores and i need 20 hrs in by jan 31. back on plan on monday. unfortunately for me i ended up with a 9lb gain from last year. So i am gettin serious this year. i really don' know what is reasonable for the year as far as a total loss...i guess i just want to be less than i am now and end the year with a loss rather than a gain.

[COLOR="Blue"]I went and had lunch with my Grandma today and it was fun. They have a potluck once a month in the senior retirement complex she lives in. There are alot of ladies that I have come to know since my grandma has lived there and they are so sweet. Aliyah and my mom went with me and afterwards we went to Michael's to check out yarn that was on sale and clearance stuff.

I am showing Aliyah how to crochet scarfs. We got some beautiful yarn on sale for $4 and it is normally $6.99

We decided to make some after visiting with my grandma. She has been making scarves like crazy and they are quite beautiful. Aliyah has been wanting something to do besides read. She has one chapter left of Twilight and we bought her the second of of the 4 book saga today...it is called New Moon. Has anyone read them? Once she finishes the first book and begins the second I am going to read the second and so on.

Lucki I must be the only person on the face of the earth without a Wii. Maybe Darrell will get one for his birthday in February

One of Aliyah's friends brought one over a couple of weeks ago for her birthday party and it was fun. I had a hard time getting Darrell off of it so the kids could enjoy it

Our New Year's dinner was roasted chicken, sweet potatos, black eyed peas and collard greens.........fairly healthy considering. I am really trying to stay focused and eat helthy....not lowcarb but healthy. My blood pressure is so out of whack and I need to get it under control

I wish all of you good luck, health, prosperity and love this New Year

I also wish my Colts luck on Saturday....that is game 1 of the playoffs and we play San Diego.....there is some not so good history between us.....we need to win

I read the entire series. I read "Twilight" the Friday after Thanksgiving (I couldn't put it down once I started) and read the other 3 between then and Christmas Eve. A lot of my students were talking about them and I had no idea what they were about. They were very good and a relatively quick read.

Nicole, welcome...we are a very straight forward group. Best advice is get a book on the plan you choose and follow it. I have been in t college and I know it can be done. YOu have to have the right frame of mind. YOu can do it.

I am once again the only one in the office.

Made it threw new year's didnt drink but a glass or two so all is well. My MIL is now here and staying for a week... Will everything ever get back to "normal" ?
