So about the ayran people. I think you all know that both me and DW are Jews. To be honest even thought hate sucks, I'd rather know about it and have them be out in the open than hiding it. The fact they can express their stuppidity er I mean views is what makes America great. It is when people hate you in secret that it is scary xxx

So what is everyone doing today. I just had a massive bowl of oats and I promised I would get my exercise in gear today. So I am going to ride the big butt bike for a while. Then I guess I will do some lesson plans and clean my house. WOOHOO don't ya wish you were with me sharing in all the fun.

The water wasnt shut off... Seems the shut off is in the ceiling and the dry wallers covered it My Saturday morning... was met with this. Today is insurance and cleaners to get it fixed Still working on their taxes... with everything requiring passwords... this too could be a long haul... YIKES!! I am going to hand type the w-2's as I cannot get the accounting program to remove their preset lines...

Melly, I am glad they didn't meet you in the parking lot... I am sure you would have had a few choice words, and it could have turned ugly. I know I would have said something and who knows how safe that would have been. I can only hope on a personal note, that I have raised my children to not be bigots, raciests and to have an open mind.

OH I thought maybe they did not leave their water dripping and cause a freeze and bust. I know we have to remind the renters to do that, last year they did have a freeze and bust. And complained about it. I gently reminded them that it was their fault and should consider themselves lucky that my in laws are not holding them responsible.A quit or pay? what is that? I think my inlaws have been extremly forgiving in the past on late rents especially last month when they were looking for two new roomies. I am all for helping people if they are having issues with making rent but not when they had a keg party two nights before rent was due and were short on making rent. Got money to party got money to pay for the roof over your head is my philosphy

I have in my leases a late fee for each day rent is late...

A quit or pay is how many days your state requires you give a tennant to pay late rents. You send or deliver the form... giving them (check your states requirement, I believe you have to give them 14 days. ) And if they dont pay you can evict them.

Kentucky Landlord Tenant Guide Here is a link to some of the KY laws governing your rights. Really to save alot of trouble your parents should have everything spelled out in their lease. I could show you a copy of mine, again its for WI and some things are different per state, but sure would give them things to look at and what laws pertain to you

Shelly, that sucks, I'd say I can't believe they drywalled the shut off valve in but I'm not. I've see it all. or almost.

I grew up in a hotel with nightly rooms and also apartments. I grew up learning how to fix pipes/wiriing/broken stuff! DBF wants to buy a 4 plex and I'm not in a hurry to do so! I have one rental and the renter (above my detached garage) is a dream, she's very nice. Skeeter, I feel for you having to collect. I hate that the most. If we get any more rentals I'll look up the quit or pay if it's available in Alaska. I just went to court last year to evict someone who was squatting on my mom's property for 20 years. They would pay her like once a year and then say they'd get caught up. That's beyond good hearted imo. They had been friends with my mom, and had hauled their house boat up on her property and were supposed to be paying for the rent of the land. Now they're gone and I have a piece of crap house boat up on the lot.

I worked the cross trainer this morning for 20 minutes and watched part of a video that my birthmom got dbf for christmas while I was on it. I've found that the dvd player really makes the time go by fast on that thing.

I found an original tae bo dvd on Amazon too this weekend. I love the original but haven't been able to get into the bootcamp video. I was always bummed that it only came in vhs though. We haven't had the vhs hooked up for awhile. Can't wait to pop it in the dvd player and see if I remember all the moves.

FC, I've been wanting to see Gran Torino, can't wait.

Quizz, I never looked at it that way, sure makes a lot of sense. Dang people anyway. I don't understand that kind of hate, I really don't.

I've been craving soups and stews. I'm making Roasted Cauliflower almond cream soup tonight, from the atkins site.

I just got back from lunch and it's 50 degrees and sunny outside!!! WTH?

Not that I'm complaining. I got to Safeway and it was 45, It's still 50 up here at work though, and the breeze is almost warm..... with snow banks piled on the sides of the road. Yeah, January in Alaska.

I got some lox, cream cheese, capers, and dill on LC flatbread for lunch. yum.
I want to try it on oopsie rolls...or maybe almond thins.

Hi FC, No plans for the near future. Company has a freeze on travel right now (economy).

I think they're training mostly regionally now, so my training will probably be in Portland for the Western Division. Which would make more sense.
Bummer for me though. I love that steakhouse we went to. I forget the name. I even remember those desserts!

When I did leasing agent for an apt complex five days for late fees after the tenth day we would file eviction. But with the inlaws they use a lease that you can get at Office Depot ( go ahead and roll ur eyes with me) and are more strict with us family vs the renters and expect us to play property manager when it is not our repsonsiblity. By all means if they want to put me on the payroll for that job too I would.....
Anywho.
LJ cast is four more weeks, he got another camo and it is showing signs of healing

I have Nick's IEP tonight so I am going to school myself today The first one we had scheduled was not done do to school being cancelled. SO we try again We have gotten two new additions to our house. Ginnea Pigs... twin girls... they refuse to share with each other.. and like typical kids fight over things... Boy they can jump. The one likes to get behind my neck... then procedes to tuck up in my hair and then does as close as I can tell purrrrsss kinda a mess trying to untangle her from the locks when she is done..

I got to watch and/or listen to most of the Inauguration today on CNN live on my computer. I really enjoyed it. I got goose bumps listening to all of it.
