Today I am catching up on my shows and cleaning the house. I let it go so LJ can see how much I really do around here. Every once in a while a visual reminder is helpful to him.
He got a wakeup call from a friend of his who told him exactly how lucky he is to have a wife like me and lectured him on being a better husband. I just hope not only did he hear what his friend was saying but acts on it.....
Went out with a friend of mine that we shall call the Maytag man. His nickname is partialy because I feel repaired after we go out and partialy due to when he has a date and does not want to hear static from a friend of ours about chosing to go on a date instead of hand with the guys he says he has to much dirty laundry to go out.
Had a great time, the waitress was cute she thought we were on a date. Dont know how we barely talked as the Cats were playing and he was a complete gentelman. But a night out with a friend really did recharge my batteries

Have bought more work out DVD's Walking w Leslie. Got my stretchie and my fit cuffs
worked out last night before we went out w the fit cuffs and really felt it. I am going to do the walking part of the dvd daily and the strength resistance part every other day also got a am/pm yoga
Hopefully this will help with stress and with toning up. Thinking on joining our parks and rec but want to see what happens with work first.
We got on with his parents on their Sam's Club biz account since I work for the fam biz on the side.
Yesterday stocked up on chicken breast, hamburger meat, roast
got LJ a pair of jeans for work, work out dvd
and only spent 80 dollars. I really think stocking up is going to help on our budget. I did make sure that it was worth it to buy in bulk and ended up stopping in a krogers to get a few items

[COLOR="Blue"]Thanks for being concerned about me. We are in the middle of another ice storm and they are predicting this one to be really bad. They cancelled school during the 6PM news and Springfield NEVER cancels that early.....they always wait until the last minute. But they seem pretty confident that we are going to get hit hard this time..... 2" - 3" of sleet and freezing rain. They keep flashing a warning across the bottom of the tv screen that power outages are likely and where to find shelter

I opened the back door a while ago and Reesey stood there and looked for a second and then ran and jumped on the couch with Darrell and got under the covers

I doubt that I work tomorrow....thank goodness I sold something today and made some pretty good money

I will check in tomorrow if I have power

HI Lucki...I am good...just know I am going to need some sort of trip in the Spring or end of May. I am feeling some Wanderlust coming on.

Skeet...we have freezing rain. Right now everything is thawed but it will freeze again tonight and I know we won't have school. I just wish we had snow to go with this stuff.

Shelly....you will do great. I have faith in you. Make him a list and say if I have to work then you do too. Get this done...

Get round, black ones. There are some that are flat on the bottom, those aren't good. They make too much noise when you drive on them.

we got our ice storm and are expecting round two. They let us out of work today because our servers were down. Went to walmart and it was not packed as I expected it to be but the lady said last night was worse than Christmas.

So I got the things I needed glad I was lazy yesterday and did not want to leave the house. Also I knew if I did I would give into my craving for a totinos pizza....LJ followed suit today and went around the trees that fell into the drive I picked them up on my way in. Now I smell piney.

Take photos of the flat sided tires....
I got the big black ones, not a flat side to be found. Seem to work ok. So far I am still on the road... and ok traction.

I am surviving... still not sure if i can pull this music off... will have a heart to heart with the instructor on Friday

I think i could play this fast if if i drank 200 pots of coffee...

Will have to post a you tube of it and you will all know what I am talking about...

So far I think we have around 3 - 4 inches of snow on top of the sleet and it is still snowing and is supposed to snow all night. It is soooo beautiful. This is the first real snow we have have in almost 7 years.....I am not complaining.

I have been out playing in this weather all day with Aliyah and Robin and her son Jmaes. We had a blast. We went to the mall and it was deserted....some of the stores were not even open. We went to Build A Bear and Aliyah made Landan a darling Teddy Bear for Valentines Day. He is very soft and has a heart beat and is wearing red boxers with hearts on them.... Aliyah named him and his birth certificate says his name is Pablo Valentine....don't ask

No school again tomorrow.....we will decide about work in the morning.....thank goodness I made some money on Monday

to the rest of you in the way of this storm.....it is no joke and some people are really getting hammered.....thank goodness the ice missed us

i'm sorry i haven't been around lately..i'm too stressed, too busy and too tired. i know that's not an excuse but i'm exhausted. Work is keepin' me on my toes. we had a surprise inspection last week and we did really good for outpatients. i owe my staff a pizza party!!! but that's about the only good thing that has happened lately......anyway......just poppin'.......

I just took the "Cali Boy" to work....not sure how much snow we got....doubt I go to work today.....I work 11 miles east of Springfield and it is rural and I heard it was worse out there and they don't plow as much out there as they do here. South of us is much worse.....lots of power outages.....

'It's beginning to look a lot like Wisconsin... '

Got a couple inches of snow yesterday. Had the drive and sidewalks cleaned off for a while. Started in again about 2, then got sleet and freezing rain around 5. Had about 3/8" of ice on my Blazer with a couple inches of snow on top of that. Still snowing this morning. No school, all kinds of places are closed, snow emergencies posted in some areas.

But I'm having fun with it!

These people just do not know how to drive in this stuff and don't have the right tires on their 4WD's. Ignorance is bliss, so they say.

Lots of blissful people in Ohio.....

Yep. Street tread, summer tread, doesn't work in snow. Good for summer driving on pavement, works ok on rain-wet roads. But no traction for winter conditions. An all-season tire works a lot better.

'Snow' tires work the best, a more aggressive tread. But they are not the best for all year driving because they don't wear as well and are noisey.

I bought a new set of 'triple tread' tires last year and I had a good time driving around today. I didn't have any problems at all.

I am getting new tires on Friday I hope. I wished I had them today. We have got a horrible amount of rain.

I am tired today. I am out of my routine and that has thrown me way off. Ohh well...I hope to be back to me again soon. I know I will have school tomorrow. Because everything down here looks clear. The Goat Farmer is still without power. His cows are not to good either with this weather. I told him on Sunday if he gets bored and tired of being there to come see me. A friend of mine is having a Superbowl party. We will see what happens. I know he has some fence work to do because of the ice and the cows need to be looked after.

I wished I had them today. We have got a horrible amount of rain. I am tired today. I am out of my routine and that has thrown me way off. Ohh well...I hope to be back to me again soon. I know I will have school tomorrow. Because everything down here looks clear. The Goat Farmer is still without power. His cows are not to good either with this weather. I told him on Sunday if he gets bored and tired of being there to come see me. A friend of mine is having a Superbowl party. We will see what happens. I know he has some fence work to do because of the ice and the cows need to be looked after.
