Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been MIA. I know I sound like a broken record.

I had to take Jaden caroling with the scouts last night and we took doughnuts. I brought a ton home and gorged myself last night.

Torri, I can't wait to see your hair. I wish I could do my own. It just cost me $161.00 to have mine and Casidee's done. I guess that's not bad but it's hard to stay beautiful when you are broke. lol

I keep telling myself I'll just wait until after the holidays to eat right but then I will just find some other excuse. My son will be home next month and I weigh a lot more than when he left. I'm embarassed about it.

I am going to start walking with my neighbors in January. I hope I can keep up. They have been walking together for a long time and our neighborhood has a lot of hills.

My BFF had surgery and almost died. She hasn't been able to stay home alone so I have been staying with her some days. It's nice to catch up because she is so busy I don't normally get a chance to see her much. We have been friends for 32 years. We met in 7th grade.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Just a quick note to say I'll be MIA...I just don't remember asking for a great big portion of stress............ hmm..... I got it anyway! I'm going to have to shut off the internet and other expenses while I try to save money to find an apt or some place to live. Husband says he's leaving me and the house is still in foreclosure, so I'll be paying all the bills to support myself now. I can't have the internet, so I'll have to use the library computers. I'll check in when I can.

Hi all, just a quick hello. I haven’t had computer time at all, I miss you guys. I think after this week it will get easier. I’m attempting to lose weight and exercise, dh has already lost 20 lbs but I’m in this funk and I’m trying to get out of it.

Torri, I am so very sorry to hear about dh and you. You guys have been through some much and yet manage to stay afloat. I hope you guys work this out and stay together. I’ll be praying for you. In the meantime, take care of yourself and do what you need to to get rid of stress.

Guess what?? I did get some good news

The phone company messed up our bill and when I inquired about it turns out they have been overcharging me for almost a year! I got a big fat credit so I can keep the internet and phone for awhile!

So far we are still together. Husband has to work tonight and will be sleeping most of the day tomorrow. He hasn't had much sleep in the last few days, and was told that he will not have a day off from the midnight shift job for at least another 10 days. They are short handed and he is the only man on the team, so he is the midnight shift crewmember of choice. During the day he is doing the house calls for our appliance repair business. He's really tired and that has been part of the problem I'm sure. I think he's just very stressed, and a little scared... although he would deny that of course.

For now, it's tolerable here at least. At home I am trying to keep a very calm, low-key atmosphere here. If a problem comes up I just try to get it to go away. I can't take anything to husband right now, as it seems he can't handle it without freaking out. So, unless it is a life and death matter, it's going in the trash. I can't handle it either. Past due bills..... trash.... phone calls from collectors... trash. Those are two things I can control. I will put a stop to as much of this stress as I can and hope for the best.

Thank you for the support everyone. It does help me to get from one hour to the next.

I had to go into work for a little while and fix some polish boo-boo's. I bought a new topcoat and it was evidentally bad. The nails look very shiney and beautiful, but they never completely dry so if you bump them they get a ding or smudge. So, it was irritating to have to do the work again, under "warranty" but at least these ladies have nice, shiney red polish now.

Good morning friends, hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and weekend.

I have attempted once again to do low carb, today is day 2 so wish me luck. God knows I need it. So the plan is to exercise at least 4 days a week, shooting more for 6-7.

My goal is to loose 30 lbs by March. How about everyone else, any goals? Anyone starting over?

Happy New Year everyone! We stayed home, dh has a bad flu and I think I'm next. My body aches too. I made some chicken soup for lunch and I'll have some for dinner too. Bkft was an omelette. I'm having cravings, I think its the flu but I am being strong, I made some sf jello, I also have some sf jello puddings and yogurt which have some carbs so I'm staying away,but if I get really sick like dh and cant swallow, I think I'll have to use those.

Melinda, good job and get creative with what you have at home.

Get well soon Illy. My family has had the same thing. Three of the children are still sick and I have the tummy stuff starting today. I pumped honey down the kids to help with the sore throats and they drank gallons of hot tea with honey and lemon. So far they have all managed to beat this thing well enough to prevent a billion dollars in doctor bills, tests and medications. Thank goodness, too, since I'm sure sitting at the doc office or ER would have only exposed them to other germs they would catch to go with it.

Gm all..I did good yesterday. My DH is trying to do LC to and he is having trouble with it. To me now it is just the right way to eat. It is funny I always wanted him to be on LC with me but it is not as fun as I thought it would be. lol. So far I have no cravings. that comes for me in like next week. I got to were I was sick of candy and cakes . I new it was making me feel so tired. I am 41 now and I have to to get some of this weight off. I am still in a 22 which is good that when I fell off LC that I did not go back to a 24. I would love to get to a 18 some day.. Every one goes back to school and work Monday . I will start my walking DVD again.

L.. hot wings, left over cabbage
