This is bad but it could have been worse. We went to my inlaws for dinner. I had a piece of salmon and some green salad. No cake. No rolls. No baked potato.

She sent cake and rolls home with us.

I got a piece of cake and then went back and cut it in half and just had a small piece. Then I grabbed 2 rolls. I handed one to my husband and only ate one.

hello friends, glad to see this thread is still going. I have been so busy that I havent been on the computer for weeks. These past 2 weekends we went to Orlando, we bought passess and spent both weekends there, it was nice but exhausting. THe weather was awesome though, this is definitely the time of year to go, I couldnt do August like you Coleen, that time of year is dreadful.

So my eating has been I actually went to Costco yesterday and bought some protein and yogurts. I have been trying to go exercise at lunch time but some times I cant make it, work is extremely busy, its non stop from start to finish so I'm usually drained by the time I get home.

Diane, i admire your determination to stick to plan, after all these years. I'm glad you are trying to get back on plan 100%, those snacks here and there are the beginning of a destructive road. Trust me, no matter how many times I restart, I cant seem to stick to it like before, its very hard. Luckily with dh being on a diet I'm not going crazy but I'm still eating a lot, a I always manage to find junk.

Well have a good nite everyone. I'll be back on the weekend!

I'm in a funk with weight loss.... or the lack of my effort and willpower actually. It doesn't feel like I have the time to breathe, let alone plan out meals or snacks. I'm on the go so much it's almost impossible to find another 10 minutes to spare. I'm sorry I haven't been here to support you all, but please bare with me. I do try to read the posts daily, even if I can't reply.

Nice to hear from Jaz, Illy, and the rest of the group. I hope you are all doing well. HUGS!

Coleen, I cant believe how big she is already. She is adorable and the puppy is so cute. I'd love to see what he looks like so keep the pictures coming. We've been wanting to get another to keep peewee company, he is getting old but I dont think I can handle 2 dogs.

Torri, dont worry about us, just say hi, that's all. Your avi looks good. I'm in a funk too so I can relate, funk and stress =

Hi Jaz, Diane and everyone else.

Still cheat free except one doughnut hole at our class party. I'm learning portion control and rewards. So far, so good.

How's everyone else doing? Good to see you post Illy.

Hi Ladies!

Things are not good on the exercise and weight loss side of things. I'm pretty much maintaining but I just can't seem to get back in the swing of things. Every time I think I got it under control I something happens. I have not been able to exercise not one day this week. I am up at 6am and we have to be out the door no later that 7am so that DH can be to work at 7:20. You guys know how I hate this one car thing! DH and I can not share a car if we are going to be happy together. Every morning there is some remark about my driving. He has had tons of accidents, I have never had one! How in the heck is he going to want to complain about MY driving? MEN!

I've been bringing Cinnamon to work with me every day. She has her first Vet visit tomorrow. I have all these questions to ask.

Illy and Diane ~ I know that you guys have dogs. How old will she be when she is fully grown? She will be 2 months tomorrow and she is almost 2 pounds.

What is the best potty training technique? Right now, I have these potty pads down but she has been missing them. She is so tiny that I don't always see her when she wakes up to move around. By the time I know she is up and around she has already pee'd or pooped somewhere.

Here she is in one of Calyse's doll dresses.

Cinnamon and my son is holding her.

Coleen - I am so not good at housebreaking puppies and luckily the dogs we have were already housebroken. I do know that they need to be crated or not allowed free roam of the house when left alone until they are housebroken..they don't like to pee and poo where they sleep. You need to be diligient on letting her out after she eats and givem her time to potty. I am such a pushover and hate crating dogs...but it works...so they say. I have never used those pads. I will have to wait until I get home to see the pics because at work all I see is a red X

I can relate on the driving...amazing how DH and I can drive fine on our own, but when we are together...oy

to everybody else

Good morning friends.

Coleen, she is so cute. I have used the weewee pads, i cant remember the name too well and they work great. With a puppy they will do it around the house for the first few months, its important that you take her out every 1/2 hour or so to train her to pee in the grass or where ever you plan her to do it. The cage thing works too, you just have to patient, 2 months is still young but keep taking her out and put pads all over especially if you want her to go in a specific place, they will get used to it.
I think they stop growing once they are 1 year or so. Cant remember.

I'll be back. Off to cook breakfast.

The puppy pads didn't work for us. The puppy ate them. LOL

Good weather here today. Cool, but comfortable. Hope to get some cleaning done.

Will check back later. Tata for now!

I hate myself so much right now. I know hate is a strong word but I do. I did really well yesterday and then the dog got me up at 4 am and I ate 6 granola bars. Yes 6. I am just going to get fatter and fatter.

So Jazlyn..the question is..what are you going to do now? Can't change the past, but are you going to let it set the pace for the day or will you do the best you can the rest of the day...and maybe even do your 7 minutes to work it off.<hint hint>

Don't hate yourself...acknowledge the error, forgive yourself, and then promise yourself the rest of today is ON PLAN

GOOD JOB JAZLYN!!!

You may fall down every now and then but you always pick yourself back up

We already cooked a turkey over the weekend..so I have been eating on that. We will cook another on Thursday, but we try to stock up since the meat really is cheaper. I like to just cook the turkey breast so I get all white meat, but we did a whole turkey...

Does anybody know if we can we freeze turkey meat after it is cooked?

My friend cooked a turkey and then froze the meat. She made some sort of puff pastry thing out of it for her wedding.

Thank you both!!!!!
We are taking advantage of the cheaper meat, just wasn't sure about freezing it. I have a vacuum sealer so I should be good to go.

I am going to try to get some other cooking done as well on these 4 days off and freeze some stuff...hoping to get a storage of foods so I don't always spend my weekends cooking.

To my buddies..and my buddies that lurk

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Diane and everyone else.

I asked my MIL what I should bring and she said just give her $5.00. Well, that was easy. She is so weird sometimes.
