Ok My trip was tiring! We worked the first 2 days and then spent the other days on the lake in my neighbor's boat, swimming and drinking. LOL We also had a bit of alone time and looked at a mobile home on the water that we want but cannot afford.

I had a 2 hour nap today.

I see FC has been active, Melly. Is that who you are asking me about. Or are you referring to that elusive redhead who keeps teasing us with her presence?

I've been lurking/reading most days. I'm glad your son is getting his braces, I hope he gets used to them quickly. And glad to see your pup is doing so much better too.


I haven't been posting because I've been eating pretty badly. I want to get back on plan before posting too much. Anyway, I need to reset my stats. I was up to 376 on April 12. I've been eating cleaner, well sometimes I'll reweigh myself sometime soon. Today was going to be a more serious attempt at low carbing. But Hardee's messed up my order, I got a regular cheeseburger instead of a low carb burger. Yep I ate it. I have steak, cheese and veggies for the rest of the night. I have been busy with yard work and lifting with some local strong guys on my weekends off, but nothing in between.

So, that's what I've been up too.

Melly, I hope your foot gets better and you don't have tendonitis, if you do, ask for celebrex, it's great for that. Congrats on your daughter doing so well in track too, that's a great feeling. My eighth grade DD throws a pretty good shot put, not the best in regionals but best in her class. Maybe next year they will teach her how to do that spin thing, she just chucks it now, for a little over 30'.

Lucki, don't take the first no for an answere on the scooter. Keep trying, I'm sure you'll find someone that will finance it.

WOW, Bobby AND Tanner!!! WOOHOO!!! good to see you both. I was planning on trying somewhere else Bobby on the scooter but my credit really is a mess...i don't want to make it worse by having multiple requests..but i did plan on trying a few other places. Worse comes to worst i have to roll over my retirement plan and it's exactly what i need......we'll see.

Hey There Katie-Kayt! I sure mised seeing that cute face in my long disapearing act. But I'm back...and havehad a little light- bulb moment today.

I realized..I will never again have a typical weightloss. Why do I say that? because so many things have changed in my body the last 1-2 years..that I will never again see the same dramatic drops as I did when I lost this weight the first time ( almost 8 years ago now..wow) That also is going to have to just be ok.I need to stop being do dang hard on myself. (Why is it we are always so much harder on ourselves then we would be to anyone else?) I forgot this is not a race. There is no perfection..just continued growth. Amazing what gems I come-up with when I take mylazy arse out early in the a.m. and exercise

Ok..so day 10 of re-re-re-re induction.

It's going fine. No slips....exercised 5 days each week...and I haven't shot anyone ..yet!

i'm up so early this morning.... i have no idea why and i'm sore from curves yesterday. i can see a difference tho only after two times!! I can't wait till weigh in day...june 13.....uhoh....i'm gonna be in flagstaff for a seminar..... i will have to figure that one out....the next few weeks are gonna be so hectic....oh well. better to have excitement than no excitement right??

I did wear my bikini, but Arizona has made it illegal to have a campfire after May 1st at Havasu. I guess they thought that would stop all the wildfires that are caused by all those cigarettes being thrown out of car windows.

Ummm I had a VERY weird day yesterday. I am still trying to get my head around it before I tell you all about it because I am not sure what to do.

I got on the scale today and the number I saw I hadn't seen in nearly 20 years.. I finally feel there is light at the end of the tunnel! By the time I am done I will have lost 1/2 my size. I know I may never look great without clothes but they are sure starting to look good on me now!

As I posted before, I had talked to my doctor and asked him how much more till I could talk tummytuck with him... He told me 25 pounds... I lost 5 pretty quickly and then I got on the scale today and I am another 4 pounds down.

I just wanted to thank you all for helping me get to where I need to be. If it wasn't for this site and all of you, I would never have gotten this far. Its been a long road with several bumps along the way that hurt my progress.. Keep your fingers crossed these next 16 pounds fall off fast... I am hoping I can get my tummytuck by early summer.

I hope you all are doing well in your weightloss efforts and that your numbers are going down as well.

I have been in and out of the chatroom.. maybe we can all have a meetup sometime soon. Not many have been coming in.

I just harvested my first zucchini and herbs this morning. The peas died while I was away last week. I am not sure why. The tomatoes are about 16inches tall now and the peppers are about a foot.... not too bad. I think I will plant some bush beans and look through my seeds and see what else I have. My basil has little green caterpillers on it, so I am losing leaves. Does anyone know a non poisonous treatment to get rid of them? I don't like to use pesticdes, but I don't wanna eat a worm either.

Ohh man...I had one of my best guy friends in the whole world come on to me. I have known him for ages and yes he is hot but never thought about him like that before. He told me he had always wanted to kiss me and asked if I ever wondered what it would be like. I told him it would be so good his toes would curl and I would ruin him for other women. I also told him that....WE CAN'T DO THAT. I told him he would fall madly in love and then would have to marry me. So we needed to be good.
