morning! well i found my measurements from janauary and of course i gained 5 lbs before i started to continue this journey with REALNESS.. and im down 9.75 inches since then.. so im happy!!! no wonder stuff is fitting a little better~! LOL

go to the dr for my knee today and i cant wait.. it hurts and i want an answer .. though im afraid i wont get one.. i always have this fear of going for no reason nothing is found im a nut.. they thing im just retarded..lol

Ok..so life here is always intresting. Apparently there have been several scary robberys on the street where my job is ( it's a new and up and oming hot spot in la..lots of celebs and ladies with little dogs in their fendi bags

) It's a bit scary as all of us who work in my store are woman...and we ae open until very late. The wole street is gretting together today to talk about it. apparently we had 3 robberies and 2 shop liftings this week alone!

I'm hanging in on my plan. I have no cheated..am walking 1-2 miles a day..5 days a week. Tons of water..and yet can't seem to lose and keep it off. I was sooo excited when I lost 5 1/2 my first week..and then most o it went right back on. I'm frankly tired of trying to figure this all out..so will just keep plowing on..and looking forward to the weekend ( I get 4 whole days off!!!!!..it's been since dec that I had more then 1-2 days off in a row)

P.S. anyone who claims to have no skeletons in their closet....um..probably has a dancer pole in their livingroom! I'm just saying..

I told him he can come up after the party. I have a few good reasons, I am closer, it was my birthday this week, I will have just finished a fun party, ummm and I am worth the effort. I think those are great reasons.

Ok, I've got 3 windows left to do and all the storm combo's will be installed. Kitchen window wasn't too bad. Some paint to be scrapped, some caulking to do. Not that bad of a job and prep didn't take too long. Off to do the 2 side-by-side bedroom windows.

Nasty.

Lots of loose paint, loose caulk, broken window. I'm surprised I can stand the paint scrapper, it sounds like 50 fingernails on a chalkboard. So much paint is coming off it looks like a December blizzard. And I'm looking like a snowman. I finally get around to removing the loose caulk and getting the broken glass out. Clean the opening where the pane was very carefully and then measure. Write down the meansurements, and ask g/f if she'd like to go out for lunch since I've got to get the glass. Sure, no problem! (What a guy, eh?

Buzz down the highway, past a State Trooper running radar. I'm bragging about going past him at 75mph in a 65 and how they don't even bother you as they are waiting for bigger, faster game. Hmmmm....must be a slow day out on the interstate today..

Man, the fines have gone up a lot since my last ticket! Ow! At least lunch was ok, and I got my glass w/o a problem.

I clean the opening once again, then lay in a small bead of caulk so the pane seals to the inside. Unwrap the new glass, and try to place it in the opening... 30 years of maintenance experience, you'd think I'd learn how to read a tape measure...
Back out to Lowes to have the pane trimmed back 1.5 inches....

Back home again, the pane isn't quite square. But, I do manage to get into place. I now try to afix the position of the pane by inserting glaziers points.

I hear this almost inaudible high pitched 'snap' and see this little spider crack running through my new glass...

Out comes the glass, cleaned up the opening again, and run back to Lowes. I'm glad that this is a big town because I wasn't going back to the same Lowes as before....

New pane of glass, cut small enough so it drops right in. Got it all caulked into place. And it only cost me $150 for gas, glass, caulk and speeding ticket. And 4 hours of my time.

Tomorrow, all I will have to do is paint and install the last 3 windows.

Then we are going fishing.

Oh man... I hope your mom is doind well now hun... Taking the wrong meds is scarey! As far as the dimensia is concerned perhaps there are some meds they can give her for that... I know they do have things to slow it down. Keep us posted!

Caro... it sounds like you might have torn your meniscus... I have that in my left knee. I have been getting Hyalgan shots in both of them because I have osteoarthritis and this last time my doctor asked why I am not having surgery so I guess I will end up having it done next time I need the shots but AFTER my tummytuck... I want that first.

I just wanted to let you know that the shots have helped me and was a good alternative to surgery (it kept me from having to do that for a few years anyway) so you might want to ask about those.. it is worth a try and works for about 6 months. 1 shot in each knee once a week for 5 weeks. Its a pain but worth it. Here is a link explaining it in case you find that is what you have...
