Ok, I wait a bit. She goes in, brushes her tooth (this is Ohio, ya know) and comes back out and sits at the computer. I give her a little more time...

Work was crazy busy yesterday and I have alot of deals working but not consumated....have alot of rehashing to do with bankers on Monday. My foot is positively killing me. It has really been better the last few days but I went to bed with it throbbing last night and it is not much better this morning. Darrell wants to go to breakfast and I am barely awake....why can't he just cook breakfast for me?

I want to go look for flowers to plant today but I don't know if I will make it. I might just stay home and stay off my foot. I am planning to BBQ this evening. Got Darrell some pork steaks and myself some ribeyes....too bad I have to share the ribeyes with Aliyah....I should have told her at a young age that they were yucky

Thanks for the well wishes and concerns! I have those as well.....I only learned to drive forward yesterday.....will still need to learn how to turn and coordinate my eyes to look at the gauges and turn on blinker lights. It's gonna take a lot of practice. I am excited tho and can't wait to get started. I am gonna start studying so i can get my permit. From that point I have 6 months to get my license. It's very quiet and rides very smoothly. I was in heaven learning!! Will post a pic when it actually gets here.....looks better in person for sure!

There is a product I use, recommended by our garden center, called 'Garden Safe' by Schultz. Comes in a pale green spray bottle. It is a fungicide/insecticide/pesticide. It does have the standard warnings on it (don't drink it, even if mixed with tequila) but it is a gentler pesticide than say, Sevin and that ilk. Supposed to be more of a soap-like liquid. I saw it today at Lowes, and was cheaper there than at the Garden Center ($6 vs $10).

Cat you got me inspired this morning.....I went and bought a bunch of flowers and potted 5 big pots for my front porch.....they are pretty now but will be much prettier when they grow and bloom some more

I also got a new computer chair today....the other one was sad....I put the new one together all by my lil ole self.....who needs men? Well there is that, but other than that who needs em?

OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! Dinner was the bomb!!!!! I made brown rice and baked beans for the fam and I had salad, deviled eggs and grilled portabella mushrooms Can I just say that they were orgasmic? Darrell was laughing at me while I was eating because I kept moaning every time I ate a bite

OK...I am massive HUGE really big Jimmy Buffett fan. In one of his books he has a boat/rocketship/airplane named the Cosmic Muffin. However, in highschool on a camping trip I earned the nickname Cosmic. Then I went to college and I got the nickname Muffin. So...there you go it suits me and it fits perfect.

I have had a really great day. I got my Birthday present from my brother and I love it!!!! It is awesome. I also got taken out to eat at the Outback and I am so stuffed, that I can't move. My birthday is Wednesday so you can send me presents if you want.

Melly - they are awesome aren't they??? i remember the first time i had them.....they knocked my socks off!!

Well...today i wore ankle socks. when i put them on i thought i was crazy cuz my ankles always swell and i look like a small elephant. NOT TODAY!!!! I really think this IE thing kicked in......no swelling. I'm full. I ate very little today for a weekend. and i went shopping hungry and came home with fresh fruit and LC/LF foods. no junk. WOOHOO!!! I am looking forward to going to curves tomorrow again. I made it three days last week...will be three days this week. I am going to Phoenix tomorrow for a symposium for our analyzers. Should be very interesting. There are 6 of us going from the lab this year. Last year was only me. Will be back late Tuesday night.

Believe me, I've got plenty to do around here. I've still got a garage to empty out and tear down.

I got 5 combos up yesterday. 3 windows were easy, I'd already done a lot of work on them so I didn't have to scrape, caulk or paint them. 1 window was really bad, had to put 3 coats of paint on it. 8 more windows to do, some really bad, some already repaired/painted. I'll be so glad to get rid of those old storms and screens.

The gardens are looking good. Tomatoe and pepper plants have lots of flowers on them. Strawberries have lots of flowers and some berries are also starting to form. Can't wait for those fresh berries!
