Okay so I finished off today with 1900 cals. I did not make the best choices, 2 sodas = 280 of those calories (7up) My cals were also 100 higher than I wanted them to be.
Tomorrow will be better choices.

Thanks Kim, glad someone is looking out for us while carol is away

I had a good day in choices. Breakfast: chicken and broccoli, Lunch: weiners Dinner: steak cooked on the grill and it was so good. 14 walnut halves. 4 mugs of coffee with cream. not all at same time Fitday says 1923 calories and 16 carbs. I was not hungry one time today. Hopefully I am where I should be. Didn't make it to the Y but I did exercise a lil bit but definitely not enough........

Hope everyone had a good day.

Arlene, 1900 cal is not bad , not bad at all. Have you ever tried diet 7 up? I don't think they r half bad....

Actually June I love Diet 7up. I am trying to drink more water so I am not buying the soda, but we had some for mixing drinks and it sounded good so I drank them.

1900 is better than normal by far, I just need to eat healthier. I'll get there. Your menu sounds good.

I've cut out cheese this week to try to break my stall. My menu today:

One minute muffin made with 2T Golden Flax, 2T Almond meal, 1egg, a little banana davincis and a pinch of baking soda (couldn't find the baking powder)--5 carbs

Chicken breast quarter and small pork chop with 1.5 c salad greens, hardboiled egg, olives, 1T sunflower seeds, chopped ham and ranch dressing--guessing 8 carbs

protein shake--1 carb

2 oz shirataki noodles with 1/3 c organic spaghetti sauce and 2 oz italian sausage--8 carbs

22 total carbs with 6 fiber and no cheese!

Been trying calorie king instead of fit day--stupid me,paid $55 to join for a year and I'm not really crazy about it except custom foods are easier to enter--and according to it I had 31 carbs today with 11 gm fiber, so 20 net carbs and 1183 calories. I haven't been counting nets but decided to try it for awhile to shake things up. We'll see and of course, I'll keep you all posted!

GOOD NEWS!!! I picked up my bridesmaid dress and tried it on... and it FITS!!! It's still a BIT snug in some bulkier areas, but I would be OK if I HAD to wear it tomorrow. And, since I still have six weeks until the wedding, I have time to "slim down" into it a bit more! I actually had my hubby take a couple pictures, which I'll try to post tomorrow... that way I can have a before/after for the next 6 weeks!

Heather, congrats on the dress fitting and if you keep up the good work that dress may be loose by the time the wedding arrives Oh what a wonderful feeling!!!!!

Oh Jen, I would love to be "not in the mood for food", just open that door and I will slide right in

Tanika, you are on a roll girl.......stay there

Morning Heidi, I its been in the news, not getting enough rest deters weight loss. Go figure, one would think it was the opposite. Try to find 20 mins a day to meditate. I never get over 5-6 hrs of sleep but then I am old and I think the older one gets they sleep less. I drink too much coffee too!!! Do you take it with cream? I wish I could break that habit, but I so look forward to it every morning. Rest some today

Morning Laura, how were the grilled burgers other nite. Hope you had a wonderful time with your friends.

Arlene, I do believe you are going to get there.

If Edna and Carol are reading........hope you both are well and looking forward to reading your post again.

Take care everyone and have a low carb day!!

Hi Everyone. Thanks for that calorie calculator. I'm going to have to start watching calories. I also put in the amt I need for 175 - a little over 1900 - so that's what I'll be aiming for. Low carb, but watching calories, too. Have a nice afternoon!

Hi-
Umm..I must be outta the loop-what calorie calculator??!!

June-the meal the other night was nice-especially the company-laughing, talking, just relaxing. Everything was low carb too so that was great as there was nothing OP to tempt or cause a problem.

today is cool and rainy. A friend made a rotisserie chicken in a stonewear dish in the microwave. It was really tasty and we also had some cesare salad. Not sure what is on the menu tonight for dinner but with the rain and cold, certainly something warm. Maybe porkchops and spinach baked together...

Hi ladies! I hope everyone's weeks are going well! I'll try to get those pictures off of my camera soon.

Today's Menu:
B- leftover pulled pork and cabbage (5)
L- grilled chicken, brie (3)
S- sf jello w/cream (2)
D- steak and broccoli/cauliflower mix (8)
TOTAL=18 carbs/8 glasses of water
(walking a few miles at gym later)

Oh, also, talk about TEMPTATION! DH and I are in charge of purchasing all of the desserts for an event at our church on Saturday... so right now our kitchen table is piled high with cakes, cookies and muffins! ARGH!!! I KNOW they're not worth it, but that frosting is calling my name. I think I'll allow myself ONE bight of frosting on Saturday night just so I can stop obsessing over it!

I have almost half a birthday cake and almost a whole half-gallon on Bryers in my kitchen right now. This is a tough day over here!!

Here's something to eat instead of icing, Heather. Get a Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate bar. Melt 2 squares in a coffee mug in the microwave for about 40 seconds. Then, sprinkle 2 packets of splenda over it...next, start stirring it as you slowly add heavy cream (maybe 1/8 - 1/4C). It turns into the smoothest, most deleicious treat! Just as nice as frosting - but very little/NO remorse!

Laura - This is close to the link I saw earlier...look around to find what you want:
