LOSING IT TOGETHER" **WEIGHT** in 2008--2nd Quarter

Hi everyone

Jennifer your mom will be in my prayers.

Still not feeling well here. I haven't been eating much and when I weighed yesterday I was already down 7 lbs from Monday's weigh in. So last night I felt sorry for myself for being sick so I ate 2 ice cream sandwiches. Other than that I stayed on plan all day. I weigh this morning and I'm up 2 lbs 2 little ice cream sandwiches made me gain 2 lbs, doesnt seem very fair

the scale today said 224, but we shall see- I have been ping ponging back and forth between that and 230 since JANUARY!!!!

Thanks for the prayers/good thoughts for my mom. The procedeure went well & the fluid indicated a less aggressive form of cancer than was feared. However 2 new masses were found & are being biopsied. Her blood pressure was very low so they're keeping her in CCU till it rises.

we went out to breakfast at Bob's Red Mill. See June, one more reason to visit Oregon, you can go to the Bob's store

they have a very wholesome vibe, there, and eating breakfast felt good, rather than greasy. I had an omlet with turkey ham & Tillamook cheddar, my friend ate the biscuts and hashbrowns and my daughter had the grits, a cheap way to feed the whole group. I did have a lot of coffee, but I wouldn't be Heidi without my coffee.

I walked last night, and I feel so much better today!!!

I have been sleeping in my daughter's bed, and I think my matress is the source of my back pain. I don't have the $$$ to run out and replace it right now, but I at least know I can feel better by sleeping on another matress. I feel like a new person, without the awful back pain.

Heidi-congrats! and the shoes run about $200 initially but with time, like all shoes, when they "wear out" all you do is replace the coils and a little screw to keep it on for about $40-50 so they actually save you money in the long term.

Thanks for the continued good thoughts/prayers for my mom. My sister was at the hospital last night right after she was given Percocet (sp?) & she told me, "Mom is hilarious when she's high"

heidi - Glad you're feeling better. I had no idea Bob's Red Mill had a restaurant. How cool! One of these days I hope to make it out there. I have a cousin in Portland.

I have my mom, and my two neices here overnight, my mom is taking all the grandkids to the beautiful Oregon coast for a week

I made lunch for my bro & SIL and did pretty well, but I did have about 10 small strawberries.

The kids went out to Sauvie Island Sauvie Island ( a beautiful huge freshwater island in the middle of the Columbia river!) to berry pick, yesterday and they were so lovely I couldn't say no. Mom and I also had some red wine last night after the kids went to bed.

for some reason I am fighting with depression today. nothing really specific, but having family around is triggering for me. things are nice now, but they have been very rough in the past and it still feels triggering. I didn't blow it. I held it together.

I hope all of you are having the best evenings and that things are going well.

Today is my weigh in and I'm at 274.2 and my 4th of July goal was 275 so I passed it up and I'm not looking back . 260's here I come!!!

Popping in to say Hi I have been busy with summer and all that.
I got real tired bouncing around on Low Carb. On and Off I could seem to stick with it. So a week and a half ago I started WW with my girlfriend. So far its going well. I like the choices and I am losing weight. I think Im down about 9 pounds as of this morning. Its helping me with my portion control issues and make healthy choices. I still rarely eat bread and sugar. Anyhow I wanted to pop in and say Hi. I hope everyone is doing well.

I am still on plan and doing well. TOM is still here, so I am still somewhat bloated, however, even that is going away. I am down almost to preTOM weight. I have the feeling it will leave here in the next day or two and take some more friends with it.

Leaving for vacation tomorrow AM DH wouldn't let me get on the scale this morning because he didn't want me to be on vaca if I didn't like the number. He knows me well Hope to have some nice pics to share next week.

heidi - I hope you're feeling better today. I know all about family triggers; hate to say this, but I'm not always unhappy that we're in different states.
Sauvie Island looks fun. Glad your kids had a good time & I hope they have fun on the coast.
