Amelyah

Share any good tips you learn from the CD.

I am really focusing on eating when hungry and stopping when full this week.
I think it helps when I bring foods to work that I don't need to heat up..especially for breakfast when I am at work....

Amelyah! Where did you get the book and cd?? what are they called? I just bought a dvd on EFT. i'll let ya know how it is.

I am doing much better this week with eating consciously..except for tonight...we were having too much fun at dinner!! so i ate a little more than i would have if i was really paying attention. WEll........but it was still less than usual. I wanted to get on the scale today and i resisted the urge.

Diane.....welcome to the club! i couldn't believe i did that to chocolate a few weeks ago..i was in shock after i did it! I was given a chocolate bar yesterday as i was in a foul mood yesterday at work....so one of my quick thinking (brownnosing) employees left one on my door and i actually made it last till today. I went from 5 mins to two days!! YAY me!!!! and that was the ONLY outside of a meal item i have eaten in a week. I haven't had any ice cream since last week and nothing while watching tv since then too!!!!! I am having some difficulty in the morning because I am not hungry either....but if i go to work without eating then i usually get hungry RIGHT before lunch like 1130 that's a horrible time to get hungry....anyway........i think everyone is doing a great job.......we aren't gonna be able to break these habits overnight but i know i have more confidence that I can break them........

Hey everyone

Thanks for the welcomes! You all are doing great!

Luckiangel - I ordered the book with CD and journal from a bookstore in England - book depository dot com. Both are called I Can Make You Thin. These were the least expensive I could find and they had free shipping! (I had to go to a currency exchange website to see the exact cost since it was in pounds lol) What I really want is the CD, I guess it has a hypnosis session on it that many of the reviews I read raved about. Also I think with the daily journal I will stay more accountable. I know with other things in life it's better when I write things down, then I tend to focus more energy on it.

My main trouble is night eating, my habit is to mindlessly munch away the evenings watch TV. I have been tapping and that helps, but it is a hard habit to break.

The tapping has really helped me feel calmer around food and I know I'm moving in the right direction. This program is really clicking with me.

Have a great day!

I am not doing good with this at all.

It isn't that I don't like the principles, I do, just not applying them properly

WHAT DEB SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know what you mean Diane! It is hard to remember to apply them and as in my case i get talkin to the person i am eating with and i forget to count. Bad habits are hard to break but it probably takes just as long to make healthier habits as it was to form the bad ones. KEEP AT IT!!!!!!!!!

Thanks June.....i have had some very minor success's. i feel like everything but my stomach has lost....it's like the my stomach is catching it all! We'll see what the scale and tape measure says tomorrow. I've tried hard this week altho water is still a problem.

Thanks gals.

I know part of my problem was I didn't get a chance to eat a decent breakfast.

After I posted, I was going to delete it but exceeded the grace time.
Afterwards I took a nap and just got back from a walk with Rex.
I am now ready to do better this afternoon.

i am sure that the people who came before us had setbacks too.....remember that part of this is the FREEDOM from the diet mentality. We have an opportunity to change our habits every biteful! We're gonna have bad days.....but if we learn from them then we are already ahead of ourselves.
