amm-- you really look beautiful! You look like the younger sister to the person in the picture on your left!

Girl, I'm not even going to tell you about the time I hit 211 back in 2006. I was so stupid! I'm starting over due to my idiocy. I remember hitting the 2's then, too. I am NOT going to repeat the mistakes of the past, however. This time, it's for good.

You are doing fantastically, girlfriend!

behind the mask-- hopefully all is going well with you! I'm so glad you keep checking in! What do the numbers mean behind food items on your menu?

DIY-- I think 10 pounds a month is very doable. Modern nutrition claims that 8 pounds a month is a healthy, slow loss. Frankly, I think 10 is just as healthy, and able to be done!

Bandy-- I hope you're feeling better soon. I know precisely how you're feeling right now, and it's not a fun place to be. You don't have to fast to get going again, though! Just hop in with both of those cutely-manicured footsies!

Laura-- you don't even look close to 41! But woohoo on getting your stuff finally! That's where normalcy can begin to creep in. Having my stuff makes me feel comfortable. I am psyched for you to be surrounded by your 'things' again!

des-- your losses have been very motivational to watch! I am so excited for you. You've lost so much so quickly!

skittles and everyone, thank you so much for the kudos for hitting Twoterville! I am so glad to be here (again)... and hope to be in Onederland by the end of this year.

Well, crap. Why didn't that occur to me? I'm like, "OK, so you couldn't have eaten 4 salads." and then I was like, "I know she didn't eat that at 4pm for breakfast."

I was stuck on the obviously dumb reasons. Leave that to me. It's my gift.

I know lots get sick of the eggs but so far I havent, I fix them different ways and do alternate on some days but they are cheap and easy, 2 major plusses. more later, have a great night!!

When I hit 187 I will be officially 200 lbs lost. I really wanted to hit that by april 3rd (my 1 year goal) but I didn't lose at all for a whole month there.

Another 4.5 lbs in 2 weeks. It's possible, I just gotta focus....

cleo and zer thanks for reading and commenting on my blog, you are great I had a rough day yesterday and no change on the scale. its a long story and its on my blog .

I hope all are doing well! My daughter ( who is 4 11 and started around 137 ) is down to 134-135 . we started the same day. Im not telling her to "diet" just pick better choices( including school lunches) after two years and better trying to stop her from practicallly living in the fridge, her attitude lately has surprised me. My warning her that kids would pick on her didnt set in until they stared.. picking on her. But it looks positive so far! 20 pounds would put her in her healthy weight range.

Ninja-- I hate to be the water-bearer of bad news (I'm an Aquarius, but my ankles swell) but your blog isn't there...well, at the link anyway.

You're doing great! Down 4 pounds in 5 days? Most folks would give their bellybuttons for that kind of progress.

Angie! I can hear you panting, you're typing so fast. I'm glad you stop by, and thank you for the kudos!

des-- WOW! 200 pounds in 1 year! That is amazing! Whether you hit that 'round' number or not, you're doing tremendously!

Hey, Cleo, I'm also Aquarius, with puffy ankles all my life, even as a teen, when a neighbor glanced at my not-obese body and said "Oh, you have football ankles" as if that explained why I've never had cute ankles that could wear ankle chains. Crushed my teen-age hopes forever. My ankles were big and bony, even before edema set in from sitting for hours at a desk job that damaged my circulation as I grew bigger and bigger and BIGGER.

I found DIY's blog okay - thediyninjaloses - with a big green face. She's Irish? So the link works for me. Some links don't. Maybe you are having a bad link day??? Happens. Bad hair day, bad link day. Bad carb day...AGHHHHH!

Here's hoping the E.Bunny brings me NO CHOCOLATES at all, not even the deadly maltitol chocolates that my innards treat like laxatives - whooosh!

Des, you sound as if you are (over)due for a WHOOOSH! Just stick to meat&eggs as much as you can and I bet you will see your 187 blinking back atcha from your scale. Drink water like crazy, to lure The Whoosh Fairy™ - you can DO this! You are SUCH an inspiration!

Aw, Deb, that's pretty subtle for folks who like to see numbers painted big and bold in gaudy colors, as we do. I hope you find 40 a great decade. Gotta tell you, it gets better and better. I cannot believe how much better 60 is than 50 was!

Motivating a kid to shed weight - a tricky biz!

How old is your daughter? She's just under 5ft tall and may be lucky enough to have a growing spurt like the one that hit me and gave me a waistline one summer while I was in high school. Nothing like adding a few inches to stretch out the babyfat! So glad you are emphasizing healthy choices, so she is learning nutrition and not just starving or doing crazy stuff to slim down!

Get her to fixing some of Cleo's great pizza crusts from cauliflower/zucchini and all the kids will be wanting to share lunch with her as she scarfs non-bready pizza down. Yeah!

Hope today is a less gruesome day for you. It's Good Friday, right? Good!!!

Zer- she is 11 and a half now. This has been a worsening problem for a few yrs and i think about now we are at the point where she will do damage to her body if she continues. meaning stretchmarks and other problems. She is sort of underdeveloped and immature but built like her father. so all of her weight is between her shoulders and her waist. She is also severely ADD and undermedicated most of the time. LOL nto sure how that matters, except i think sometimes she overeats just to be doing SOMETHING( and not cleaning her room!) .

Kids being home is always a little bit of a challenge lol three girls like to fight.. a LOT!My husband is home on weekends only so he gets to miss out on all of it hahaha
