I'm here Jenn B. I guess this board has dwindled to nada, but I am not giving up.
I lost 4 lbs last week....due to a nasty flu and cold. Back on atkins food yesterday. I am seriously tired or toast, soup and crackers! I imagine I will shock my system at first and gain the weight back, we will see. My goal this month is to hit my tata twenty and fit into two pairs of size 22 jeans with total comfort, no tightness. How is everyone??? |

I'm good. Tired of the junk. I've started incorporating more fruits into my diet. I haven't eaten chocolate in days so I think my hormones are back to where they belong. Hooray for not having to deal with that again for another five years.

Jenn, I too have started with fruit....I'm addicted to clementines. My new take is that if I'm going to cheat while trying to stay less than 30 carbs each day, I might as well turn it more into a Southbeach type day and eat fruit. We have a new Valli Produce not too far from home, so my husband and I went down there and bought $25 worth of good quality fruits and vegetables.
I wish this board were more active. I'm guilty too. I've been spending time setting up my facebook. I got talked into it! ![]() Have a good day. Cindy |

Here I am SlimD. I'm doing so so low carbing...I did lose 5 lbs in March. April is my month to shine. I need to fit into the clearance priced capris I bought last fall.
I guess I've been absent due to my obsession with facebook...my new puter friend. How is everyone else? |

New to the boards...I am also trying to lose 100+ pounds and just looking for a group to join.
I am starting my third week of Atkins and kind of disappointed. I lost 8 lbs my first week and about 1/2 lb last week! I don't know what is going on with my body but I'm thinking of doing a fat fast this week to kick start my metabolism. Has anyone here ever done that? Or does anybody have any suggestions? I graduate in July and I am really hoping to be down 60lbs by July 25th. Is that too ambitious of a goal? Any assistance, advice, etc...will be greatly appreciated! Kita |
