Congrats on loss, Sails, you deserve it!
And Jenn, that puppy is soooo cute. So far I've lost 6lbs on induction...I have had a couple "cheats", but they were only with fruit!! I think I'm taking in way too much sodium though, I could probably have lost 2-3 more lbs if I cut out salt. ![]() Zoo? In Texas weather? You ladies are strong!! The worst part of my day is walking from the house to the car, and from the car to work. I finally miss the good ol' Phildelphia "heat waves". ![]() |

Jenn, thanks for the laugh. Sounds like nice neighbors. Mine are the kind who wake me up nearly every Friday and Saturday night when their partying gets too loud.... now keep in mind this is a couple who have three children --- the youngest child is just barely a year old. On July 4/5 in the am hours -- close to 3 am, I was awakened by fireworks being set off right outside my bedroom window. Lovely lovely lovely neighbors.
Well Divas, I have officially entered Onderland -- just barely, but I am there. Now I am more determined than ever to get to 140-145 ish. Hopefully by the end of the year, but if it is next year, that is fine too. Have a great week Divas!!

CONGRATULATIONS Gysy_125 on your loss....I know about salt intake, because I have high blood pressure and so I'm always mindful of it...This is why I try to stay away from the processed foods because they are packed with sodium.....wish you continued success in reaching your goals.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Peachey on dropping those 2lbs.....I'm also battling in trying to stay cheat free because my hubby is on vacation this week and he eats everything - LOL.....so at times the things he eats can be tempting, but coming here to read everyone's posts keeps me strong......I'm wishing you continual success in staying cheat free and reaching your desired goal.

Fancy: you've made it! congrats!!! I'm sooo happy for you.
![]() Gypsy: Sodium really sneaks up on you. I try to eat more whole foods so I have a little more control over sodium. No idea if high amounts affect me, but, it's just a definite perk. The scale said 262.4 this morning. I weighed myself 3 different times this morning to make sure... sooo, I guess I'm doing things right now. I am not eating to my BMR but I have increased my calories by: 1 meal with beef (and salad/vegetable) and 1 meal with chicken (and salad/vegetable) and at least one snack (usually an ounce of nuts). Yesterday I was SOOOO busy that my legs were exhausted by 7:00 pm. I mean, they HURT! I got my shelves stained and put on the entertainment center, I alphabetized the DVD collection, I swept the downstairs (twice), swiffered, mopped, I cleaned the kitchen... man, I was on FIRE! (and I think I almost burned the house down but luckily I checked on it before there were any problems! hee hee hee). So my house is clean, the dogs here are my own (and I came sooo close to keeping that Bonsai 2.0 beagle pup. I just adore her!!!). All in all I'm ready for the chaos that is the next 5 weeks of class. ![]() Oh this is funny! DH called me a few times yesterday and I kept telling him that I spent all day on the internet and didn't get diddly sqaut done around the house. He was REALLY disappointed in me. Until he got home and I was like "TA DAA! WIFEY ROCKS!" and yeah... he was surprised!!!

![]() ![]() ![]() This hasn't been the best week eating wise- cappuccinos, frappuccinos, s/f ice cream bars, chips, too many cocoa roasted almonds. I really need to break my Starbucks habit. I've been eating cherries like they're going out of style, but I'm not going to let myself feel bad about something healthy that I only eat once a year. They're carby little suckers though- 1 carb each! Going to see George Michael tonight! Jenn - Please send that pupper to me immediately! kthnxbai ![]() fancyface!!!! |

So, I'm still not really losing. I really need to up my exercise like crazy. And I need to try and get my coconut oil in! But I just can't seem to figure out how to work into my day.. I don't like it in drinks, its just.. oil floating on top! blech :-( And coconut/chocolate bark is pretty nasty. I try to cook in it, when I can.. but I actually don't even cook very much!
Anyone have any suggestions, short of just eating it by the spoonful? (I tried this too, I like the flavor and all, but its like eating crisco! makes me immediately nauseous) |

Just checking in with you all. On vacation since this past Thursday until next Tuesday and loving it. Went and say REO Friday night at our local Riverfest, and Joan Jett Saturday night and a Brewer game Sunday. Heading to the Wisconsin Dells tomorrow for a couple days, but I just wanted to let you know I haven't fallen off the wagon.
Jenn, good luck getting caught up. I know you will do it in no time, you are hard on yourself. Fancy, WOW! I am sooooo happy for you. Been on this board with you your whole trip and you are one of the better disiplined losers. NICE JOB. WHAT AND ACCOMPLISMENT IN SUCH A SHORT TIME! Chai, I never ask, but what exactly does the coconut oil do? Bathroom issues? Aid in losing? I was wondering why some use it. Magic, Cara, Heather Mask.....where are ya? Have a nice week everyone. I hope to stay as close to plan as possible. Not too good Friday and Saturday, but doing good since. Grilled ribeyes last night, chicken breast tonight. I took a bite of my hubs baked potato, but one bite was enought to tell me it was too good to cheat again. Cindy |
