My Thursday Recap: I've lost 1 lb towards my 15 lb goal for the month Actually DRINK 60 ounces of water (in addition to any tea) No cheating! (I've done well so far) Work on my projects (Today: Conquer the Room of Despair) Post daily And most importantly: ENJOY MY VACATION! (the next three weeks are the only vacation I get till the end of the year... booo... but yeah!) |

Where is everyone TODAY !!!!!
So instead of skippin Lunch I went to the store and sure enough they had an atkins shake it was def. too expensive 3.25 for one can but i was desperate !!! I dont want to skip meals that wont get me to - 30lbs. So I got that and a small bag of mixed nuts and I am good and satified right now. I use to do the shakes sometimes in the morning or for snacks, this weekend my friend and I are going to try to make the egg creme. congrats Jenn On the 1lb. !!!! I would really like to join this challenge...
But, at this point I think 100 lbs by November might be beyond my reach. But, WTH no harm in trying right?
I'm not really sure what I am supposed to do in here? Set Monthly Goals? I set a goal of 10 pounds for May I will up my activity level to help accomplish this. slim ur doing awesome keep pushing towards ur goal fancy - also ur an inspiration keep it up cara yesu were missed glad to see u back and posting and great job on no cheats!!! shannon welcome back and u did it right we just having challenges for tee month keeps us motivated and u can get close to 100 or actually make it , I got faith in u.. peachy yaya cheat free 4 days in a roll keep it going chica u can do this!!!!! cindy i know how hard it is to let go of the coffee its killin me, im trying so hard but not succeeding at it so im keepin to one in the morning !!!!!!!! hope the scale will forgive that 1 cup .. bntw ur also doing great !!! im hanging in there was strugglin for a sec for a few days but im back in gear and focused gonna make my goal this month. downing the water , gonna go mow the yard again cuz it rained and wouldnt u know it the grass grew like crazy grrrrrr.....im eating real clean now and no cheats not a option for me . menu tilapia and scallops tilapia tuna

Slim Diva, Friday........what?
Well today was a true test at work. We just had 20 Pizza Hut pizzas delivered, and I took a piece of meatlovers, picked a couple sausage, pepperoni, and candian bacons off it, and ditched the rest. Then I chugged a bottle of water in 15 minutes to wash all that salt away. I'm on a cheat-free roll this week and I am anxious to weigh tomorrow. Todays Menu: Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage patty and coffee from McDs (my only coffee, improving) Snack: Pepper jack cheese stick Lunch: topping off lg piece of pizza Snack: I only have cheese sticks at work. Supper: Need lots of veggies to make up today, so not sure yet. Have a nice day. Cindy |

I'm here. I am just dead beat tired.
I don't want to cook or clean anything tonight. I dont' even feel like eating. My eyes are tired and heavy and I feel like I can go to sleep now. ((Yawn)) Ladies, I am still hanging in here. Doing good. I probably won't even attempt to get on the scale tho' til monday. Has anyone tired the Rock Start Low-Carb energy drink. I've bought a few this week for the first time and have yet to drink a whole one to myself. (My teen daughter keeps stealing it! lol) If you have, notice any difference in your energy level? Just wondering. I'll be back later.

Hi Everyone, I never did get back Thursday to recap.. We had some severe weather-- thankfully no damage here, but folks not that far away had a tornado touch down. Scary stuff.
Anyhow, My Thursday recap would have looked something like this: Goal to lose 15 lbs in May Walk more Ride exercise bike Eat 25 - 40 carbs daily Get lots of veggies in. Yard work ----- Anyhow, this morning TOM is gone and sure enough I got that whoosh... Down to 222. Yay! Getting ready to update my stats. Then I am heading out for a walk and some yard work. Congrats to everyone for all of your cheat free days and weight loss postings. Let's have a super duper weekend!!

Hi everyone! I can't do math so it was actually a 4 lb drop. Puts me over my first 20 lb drop.
I'm sooo psyched. Tonight I have to go to Olive Garden for our Happy Mothers Day for my Mother In Law. I know I can get the Pick 3 appetizer and while it's all fried I can get fried calamari, fried zuchinni and fried mozzarella. There's also the chicken marsala but it comes with potatoes... boooooo on that! I'll search the menu and see if there's anything else I can eat. Menu for today: B: Omelette L: Nothing (that omelette was HUGE!) S: 3 Oopsie cupcake (assuming they come out of the pan okay) with a strawberry D: Olive Garden (anticipating the above or something equal) Hope you're all doing well!!!! Happy Weekend!

Happy Mother's Day to all Moms! Jenn, you're doing great!
I just ate several pieces of Russell Stover lc candy.... feels like I need to confess. Lol. It was good, but not really as good as sf jello.... think it was not as good as my memory teased me with ---- also, think that I am tired and that just did not make much sense. Went grocery shopping tonight and have my weekly supply of cabbage, cucumber, lettuce, bacon, eggs, cheese and a small pkg of hamburger. Also, bought a small container of blueberries... they are so expensive! Did get plenty of sf jello too. Not sure what we're doing for Mother's Day tomorrow(actually later today), but may be going out to eat. That will be nice. Hope you all have a good one! Oh yeah, had to buy some shoes today. My walking shoes had gotten too big and my feet were sliding in them.... have a nice new pair of Nikes, a pair of sandals, and a pair of black shoes for work. Also bought a couple pair of shorts. Do not want to buy but a couple pair, since I want to be in the next size by the end of June --- but the 3X's I have been wearing just keep fallling off now. Love it!! Good night -- |

Thanks Magickal! Good morning everyone! Posting early today and refocusing a bit. I know that I will be around some temptations today and I am committing to turn them down. Nothing will taste as good as it feels to be smaller. I am thinking about what the next 75 lbs gone will feel like. I have no idea if I can get rid of it as quickly as the first 75 came off, but am committing to lose it and keep it off.
This board and in particular, you guys, have become a major support and however much posting it takes, I am gonna be on here typing. Hopefully I won't be too boring, but I have found the more I post on here and the more I read, the better I do with facing all the temptations. Like last week, I went into the office and what was on my desk? Gourmet candy --- can we say someone was trying to sabotage. It sure felt like it. I looked at it, said a prayer, tossed in the drawer --- pulled it back out and looked at again. Signed on to lcfriends and read some--- put the candy in the waste bin. There is still only one coworker who has commented on my weight loss ---- so I do believe it was an effort to sabotage my weight loss. Some folks might call me paranoid..... but I know my coworkers are not so unobservant as to have missed 84 lbs gone.... especially when I wore some eyeliner and lipstick one day last week (have not been wearing makeup) and several people felt the need to announce loudly that I was wearing makeup. I had stopped wearing makeup at my highest weight -- did not want to call attention to myself and always felt like what did it matter, when I weighed over 300... Starting to feel like I am coming out of these huge shell that has been smothering me. I am rambling this morning, and have got to run -- will check back in later today. I really need this place as a support, because I am going to finish shedding the outer layers that are hiding the true me! Have a great day Divas! |

Good Morning Everyone!
Today is my official weigh in day and the scale said very mean things to me. Very mean indeed. It's giving me an official 1.6 lb drop for the week. I wonder what happened to the other 2.4 lbs? Oh well, I know I can't complain. Usually the day before weigh in I'm showing a 0 lb drop and then the next day (like MAGIC!) it's down exactly 1 lb. I'll try to post my menu later.
