Hi every one I started tom this weekend and was afraid id have no loss this morning but i was way wrong all ive eating all weekend is fish and i am down another 3 pounds im sure it will slow down , but I have to say after being on such a long stand still for so long this feels really good to be losin like this.......So i will be sticking to fish till tom is over and see if i can manage to still lose . I am drowning myself in water which i know is helpin . I hope all of ur scales are moving downward . you guys rock and we are so gonna get to our goals . yes this stillmans rocks but i do know u have to refead ur body when u stop losing on it to keep losin if that makes sence, so thats why im doin 10 days on it and 2 on atkins , but since TOM is here im gonna go a lil lomger this time then do atkins , good luck everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone. I hope you had a nice weekend. I was busy cleaning and painting my mom's house, and oh how I am sore today. I need to start exercising more as I used muscles I haven't used in years. Tomorrow is the April Fool's weigh in. I did well this weekend, except with one cheat which was 1/2 bag popcorn. I don't feel 2 cheats in a week is that bad, but the last time I did atkins, I still lost, despite a few cheats here and there. I try to stay completely focused Monday thru Saturday, and save my little cheat for Sundays...without going overboard. For example, the crust on one piece of pizza or 1/2 bag popcorn.

Today's menu:
Breakfast: Mixture of ground sausage, eggs, and cheese
Snack: rest of breakfast
Lunch: leftover chicken, 1/2 cucumber
Snack: other 1/2 cucumber
Dinner: 1/2 can green beans, 2 broiled hot dogs, fried cheese.

Hello again everyone! Just checking in for the day...

Today's Menu:
B- turkey on oopsies (4)
L- grilled chicken, sf jello (3)
S- Atkins shake (1)
D- steak and broccoli/cauliflower (6)
TOTAL=14 carbs/8 glasses of water

Last night was our small group, so we ended up having ceasar salad (w/o croutons) and pepperoni pizza toppings... all OP! Also, I'm down another half pound this morning to 342.5... I like this downward trend!

Hello to all. I see quite a few of you are losing and that's great.

Magickal1, I've started reading up on the Stillman's; Do you mind if I ask how long you have been cycling that with Atkins? I'm rather intrigued and your rate of loss is impressive.

Cindy, I did the same thing yesterday. After doing so good all week, the popcorn got me! Tastes so darned good, though, so I'm not worried about it. It happened and today I went right back to eating right.

Have a good one tomorrow. It will be busy at work but I'll drop by in the evening.

Out of all the threads I read, this one is the most helpful. Thanks for all the great info.

Here's hoping for dry weather Stacie!

Heather those downward trends are wonderful. Here's hoping we all can post one for the April Fool's weigh in.

I may be late posting tomorrow too... Gonna watch The Biggest Loser -of course. I find that show very motivational. There is no way I could ever do the amount of exercise, but I love seeing folks transform themselves ---- one day, I want to see those kind of results too.

I'm still 'chuggin' along, at 203 this morning!!!! I've been feeling pretty blah this weekend (oral surgery). I've been on plan the whole time, except for the SUGAR WATER they pumped through me. I asked if they had Splenda water, no luck.

Thanks for the dry weather wishes but it still got rained out! It's rescheduled for Tuesday so I get to go again yay! The bad part is we were up 5-1 when the game got called and Pujols had hit a homerun! Oh well brand new ballgame tomorrow!

I forgot about the best part of my day!! I have season tickets in the bleachers and so I sit next to the same group of people every game that I go to(I've been going since 97). The season ends in September so these people haven't seen me since then. I walked up and they were all floored! I got so many YOU LOOK GREAT YOU REALLY DO!! Even from a few people that I've seen around but don't really talk to went out of there way to say by the way you look great. Let me tell you hearing that just made my day/week/month probably year lol..so i guess all of the hard work really is paying off and you really can tell a difference. I might have to make a post on the main lobby about it I feel so good! lol

STACIE THATS awesome that ppl took notice of ur hard work!!!!!

JOYCE - i just started to do the cycling im doing 10 day but since Tom came i decided to go the full 14 OR longer if TOM lingures grrrr the reason i wanted to do 10 days on stillmans and 2 days on atkins was to refeed my body so i could restart a loss ive seen ppl use that and do quite well so it made alot of sence to me, plus gives me a chance to get some veggies i am taking a multi vitamin and alot of water the water is real important .
bav - wow u still stayed on plan not sure if i woulda been able to kudos to u , im sure the scale will reward u .
FANCY - This is a great thread I so agree I may have to watch that show, I never watch TV, but i hear that is a good one to watch. gl with the scales !!!!!
HEATHER - WTG ON UR LOSS!!!!!!!
CINDY - great controll i dont think i could just stop at the pizza crust!

April Fools Weigh-In

I was so exited to get on the scale, yet a bit disappointed that it read down 4lbs. I know that 4 lbs is awesome, but other than two cheats, I was on strict induction for 10 days. Ok, now that I am typing this, I just realized 4 lbs is great....not the 8 that I wanted to be at 249 lbs, but guess what?? I am going to stay on strict induction until I hit the 249 mark....just 4 more lbs. I know it will come....just a matter of time. How did you all do?

Snack: 1/2 cucumber, I'm on a cucumber kick
Lunch: Taco salad with lettuce, cheese, taco meat with 1/2 amt of seasoning, and a few black olives
Snack: other 1/2 cucumber
Supper: Ribeye steak, california blend veggies

I am increasing my water intake. I start out well, and then slow way down after lunch. Two bottles in so far, thats 33 oz.

I've been reading your thread all through March, and I would like to join you.
I have been struggling with Atkins since last June. I lost 27lbs,, but I have been losing the same 2-3lbs. now for about four months. I think I am still eating too much and getting too many calories, but I can't seem to rein myself in while on Atkins.
I have also been reading a Stillman's thread, and I decided that I would start out on Stillman's today, April 1st. I am also going to try and weigh in weekly on Monday mornings, if I can. I am so attached to the scale!
I have enjoyed reading all of your posts; they have given me incentive!
I am so ready to get this weight off! I had this grand idea of "emerging" this spring and summer as a slender (or, at least, slimmer) woman surprising everyone!! No one can even tell that I have lost 27 lbs.! Also, I don't seem to lose inches, either, as everyone says. They always say that even though you aren't losing weight, you are losing inches. NOT! Needless to say, I have been very frustrated, but I know it is ultimately up to me to figure this out!
Anyway, here I am, ready to go!

I was a little worried as I stepped on the scale and the needle made a biiiiiiiig swing to the right!

BUT!!!

287!!!!!!!!!

Yay yay yay yay yay!

I don't know how far into the 300's I was (last doc weigh-in was 6 months or so ago at 336), so I can't say for sure how much I lost, but I'm just ducky with saying I lost 13 pounds this month!

So...13 pounds down, 87 to go!

Great attitude! I know we all want this weight off yesterday, but allow yourself to enjoy the journey.

My weight this morning was 342.4... but I can't remember what my original weight was when we started strict induction... I'm sure it was higher than this! I'm also going to continue strict induction through April 11th (at least), which is a weigh in for another challenge that I'm in.

wow this is a great way to start off APRIL congrates on all of ur losses and welcome larae glad ur here stillmans will definatly help, I didnt have a loss today but im supposed to stay away from the scale even tho i CANT grrrrrr. I am downing water like crazy and hopin that all this water will give me a loss after tom, is gone plz plzplz I love this thread too and im so glad to be apart of it and we will get there girls!!!! you all are doin so great just remember one day at a time , but i would like the weight off yesturday too.. I get so frustrated wanting it off so bad and as much as i have already lost it still never seems to be enuff i see other pppl that have lost 100 pounds and they look fantastic but it took me to lose 100 for ppl to notice, but i can say that this 23 pouunds i just took off i can tell and it feels good im also a person that dont lose inches well and i get even more frustrated with that, so ill stick to the scale.. I need to be here cuz it helps everyday i get to tell ppl and reread my own words and all of urs to know im doing this and im not alone, so ty all and lets rock this month with some serious weight loss..

Congrats everyone on your losses! I was a bit disappointed this morning when I was only 1 lb down --- until I stopped to recap my month and I lost 15 lbs in March 2008. I cannot believe it!! Woohoo. Gonna start an April thread in a second. Hope that is okay.
