Hi everybody!

Just poppin in to let you know that my office is moving and we are very busy packing up 10 years worth of desks...it's kind of depressing...i have drawings and pictures of my kids from the past 10 years i have to take down...


I probably won't be able to post much as trucks are picking up my computers and boxes tomorrow and i have no idea if they are ready for us at the new place...but I wanted to say hello

Hi everyone....as of today I am at 232. That is a lose of 12lbs since 12-9-07. And 4 lbs for the year. I want to lose 16 more by Valentines Day.

Yesterday and today have been nice out, so I have taken a nice long walk through the woods and field both days...probably about 45 minutes both times..I might go out again in a while.

I hope you all are doing good!

Great job Sandy. Scared to weigh myself

B bacon and boiled eggs
S 2 pickles and 2 pork rinds. Cant eat too many of them, don't really care for them.
L salad and hot wings
S sauerkraut with hot dogs - found a legal way to eat sour!
D salad and making more hotwings!

1 cup of coffee, and about 64 oz of water so far, just cracked another bottle! Oh yeah and a diet rite cola. Starting to crave water now.

Hi Dissie.. I bought some sauerkraut the other day but have no idea what to do with it.. what is your favorite combination/recipe? thanks

I think I did okay today, I feel like I ate a LOT though. "Tom" makes me hungry. . I've been watching my sodium and drank more water today. Wish I would have gotten more veggies in, but, not much I can do now. I made some cream cheese muffins last night (with SF Kahlua Divincis), was craving them really bad. Those things are evil.

Tomorrow I'm going to drink even more water and get extra veggies. (And take the rest of the cream cheese muffins to work so someone else will eat them!!!)

I love sauerkraut, but I just eat it as it is. I have no problem eating a bowl of plain ole sauerkraut. But you can roast it with whatever meat you want, and the meat will flavor it.

I absolutely love sauerkraut! And its veggies with vitamins and no carbs! I usually fry it up with some sort of sausage. I used to use kielbasa, my personal favorite but since watching carbs I have found that Hebrew National sauerkraut has no carbs and their reduced fat beef franks have none either. So its a delicious meal or a snack! AND LEGAL You could eat it as a meal however, but it does have sodium, so just watch that. I usually put a dab of lc ketchup on it and dig in.

This morning weight was "lo" as in Low battery, my scale died... I will try to get a battery today. Dang. I fought the urge to eat cookies yesterday and was looking forward to seeing a loss this am! Now I get to drive to work in the snow! yuck.

Good morning,
I'd love to join your group. I've "lurked" a little bit and see that you post often in support of yourselves and others. Looks good to me!

My stats say my goal is 199 but that's just a minimal goal. For me to say 150or even 180 is still too far away for me. I get depressed thinking about how much there is to lose.

On the up side, I've been on Induction- this is my 3rd day and so far 4 lbs. of water are gone. I've used Atkins for weight loss in the past and found it suits me very well.

Well, I'm off to finish developing my food diary so I can write down what I'm eating and the carb counts - also WATER!!!! I'll check in later. Have a healthy day!

Hope that you are all having a wonderful day!! The weather here in the Northeast feels like spring! I just wish it would stay that way!!

I have started walking for exercise - A coworker and I are walking each day at lunch time - boy are my legs sore - I am so out of shape

I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow morning - it will be a week since I started, I feel thinner, I just hope that scale says that I am!

No Time Like the Present - sorry this is long

Good Morning,

I'm at home with a sick kiddo so I thought I would stop reading and start participating. I could use all the support I can get. I've been overweight since jr. high, I can blame my parents divorce, but why bother, everyone has problems.

Anyway, I've done the Atkins diet once before with pretty good results. I did it for two years and the first year I lost 65 lbs and the second year....NOTHING, not a thing, stayed the same, which is better than nothing. I did however manage to get pregnant (which we though was impossible due to medical issues) lets just say it took 7 years to conceive. We now have a wonderful son who is 6 years old. And yes its been 6 years of weight gain and then some....

I started at a "curves" sort of gym summer 07. I lost 25 lbs in 4 months and then thanksgiving and christmas hit and I didn't exercise and didn't eat right and gained back 7 lbs. Sheesh. I started back exercising yesterday, started induction on the 2nd and now I'm at home with a sick kid and bad treats in the cupboard and I can't go exercise....

Anyway, thanks for the space to "vent". I am looking forward to this year of losing weight and taking back my life from food. Good luck to everyone.

Wahoo lost 9 pounds first week. I have been trying really hard this week. I havent found time to exercise yet though. I go to work at five in the morning and doint get home till about 6:45 pm. But that is going to change in Feb and I will start working out at curves again. I want to get a gazell to exercise at home a little when I cant go to the club.

I got weighed this morning!!
