Thanks so much for doing that, Missy! Unfortunately, I have no clue how to post spreadsheets here.

I'm truly sorry for you migraines, Missy. I had them as a kid and going to the hospital wasn't an option back then. Now I only get them once in a great while, thankfully. I sort of outgrew them for the most part.

Sure enough the rest of the night – I was edgy, frustrated, and just a “bear”. I got the kids bathed and put to bed and I drank my 44 oz of water – trying to wash my mood away. Didn’t work – but today is a new day and a fresh start!

I started out the morning with my vitamins, 40 oz water, and a piece of sausage quiche. I dropped my son off at school and took my daughter to daycare, then headed to the Y to do my ½ mile lap swimming. After swimming I ate 2 Quik Trip (QT) hotdogs w/mustard and a small amount of catsup, drank 44oz QT tea. I am feeling much better today then last night, but still disappointed in myself for caving in sooo easy!
Fonda, my heart sunk when I read you caved to Chinese food, but I am sooooooooooo proud of you for sticking to your guns today! Way to get back on our little wagon train! Good on ya Girlie!

When I got back from the office, I received a piece of bad news. Nothing life threatening, just stressful and annoying, and THAT set me off wishing I had a bag of Reese's too.

But...but...but---I didn't go buy any!
I had tuna salad on Romaine and a cup of decaf coffee instead. I hope that will do it.

Boy, the habit of eating junk to soothe emotions sure is hard to break.

I did put my scale under my bed this morning though, and think I might try to get it out to weigh myself only on the 15th of the month, or only on the 1st, or something like that. Otherwise, seeing that number go up and down every day is just going to do me in.
Ohhhhhh, you're one of THOSE people, aren't you. I'm just teasing you. I had to hide my scale for a while once, too. Worked really well, if I recall.

Well, for me today, I did good. I got a whole lot of errands run that were on my to do list now that I'm able to drive. One of them was to get my drivers liscence renewed. you know . . . I have never NOT like my picture, but I gotta tell you, this time I was utterly and totatly shocked by my DL picture. I mean, you know you're fat, but not THAT fat . . . you know? Hi I started again 1-1-08 and this is def my year. It has to be. I'm tired of retrying and retrying. This is day three and I must say the best of them so far. I had a really hard time yesterday when my boss brought in these wonderful smelling brownies. I didnt eat them though and today I didnt have any cravings except for a little while for a piece of chocolate.

Great!

I've been trying to catch up at work after the holidays, contrary to popular belief, things still break during the holidays

I've had some sort of sinus/cold thing going on this whole week, I'm usually never sick so I don't know what's going on. I'm drinking extra water and watching my sodium but no change. I'm going to beat whatever this is then look at the scale when I'm feeling better.

I'm going to feel better tomorrow. I don't care what this sinus/cold stuff thinks. I'm the boss. (cue the 'Who's the boss' theme song... )

I hope you all have a great weekend.

You know, we really have it rough. An alcoholic can come to work and not have to worry about someone offering them a drink while their working. There is no pressure or temptation to imbibe while they are doing their job (we're not talking about going out to lunch here), but WEEEEEE have to have brownies, candy, cakes, and all sorts of goodies thrust into our faces all the time! This just helps me to see how much stronger we are than the average person!

WTG, Proud, for fighting off those brownies!

Bav. I'm so glad you are back. I hpe your cold gets better soon.

As for me, today, after 4 days of stabilized weight, I was surprised to see the scale at a 1.2 pound loss this morning! That puts me below my first goal of 275! I'm tickled pink here!

Gotta fly, gals. TTFN

Hi Proudloser, glad you decided to join us. I started again on the first too. I have been cheat free also. It's hard, but we can do this! My boss doesn't bring in goodies, what gets me is, going to the grocery store. Why oh why, do they have to have the bakery right at the front door? All those smells from the bakery and then you hit the deli and smell all that fried chicken, its maddening! It's a conspiracy! lol Just to get to the produce section you have to sprint past this section! Glad you decided to join us!

Woo Hoo Dusk that is terrific!! Thanks for the quotes that you post each day - I really enjoy them!

Droppin, bav & aproudloser!

Okay - this may make you all chuckle - I was horrified When I took my measurments the other night I discovered that my thigh measurments are only 5 inches smaller than my husbands waist - YIKES!! I just need to remember that when I feel like I may fall off the wagon.

I hope that everyone has a great day - we are expecting the weather to be much warmer here than the last few days - I'm hoping to get out for a walk with the dogs!

Take Care
Beth

Welcome to all the new or returning posters!! thank you ladies for the encouragement and support. Made it through yesterday with no cravings. Eating last piece of sausage quiche - I have no idea what I will be eating today. I will be home today and tomorrow - around the kids/husband and temptation - gotta love those days off. I got lots of cleaning to do this weekend so it shouldn't be that bad.

What is everyone eating today?

I tried the recipe from the recipe section for spicy creamy cheesy eggs this morning and they truly are wonderful! Such a comfort food. I could only eat 2 of the eggs, saved the 3rd for a snack later, but they are so good! I definately recommend trying eggs this way!

B 2 of the creamy, spicy, cheesy eggs, 5 sausage links
S 2 sf jellos, 1-8 oz cup of sf lemonade
L romaine lettuce with linda's thousand island dressing.

total carbs so far: 4

I have had 1 cup of coffee, 32 oz of water and the lemonade. Trying to plan my afternoon snack and dinner. Need ideas!

We had fried pork chops last night with steamed veggies. I had 2 left over chops I was planning on snacking on today, but of course dh ate them during the night! I was so mad at him! I was like with all the food in this house you can eat and I can't, you eat my food?

Well off to walmart...See you all later on

That used to really bother me, but now the smell makes me start to feel nauseous. My brain has done a 180 when it comes to the smell of baked goods, hope yours starts to do the same thing (well maybe not nauseous, but not enjoying the smell anymore )

I tried Linda's Portobello Parmesan last night, very very good! I'll admit it though, mine didn't turn out nearly as nice looking as the picture posted, still very tasty though! I would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes mushrooms.

I also have to go to WalMart today to stock up on groceries (veggies). What I usually end up doing is getting my cart then taking a few quick 'power laps' around the store so I can try to figure out what I want to buy if I didn't write it down. I usually always end up forgetting something, this seems to help in a weird way.

Do you like alfalfa sprouts? What I sometimes have for a snack is a 'turkey sprout wrap', basically grab a slice of turkey and wrap up some sprouts in it. (and cucumbers too if you have those) With a couple of these I'm usually tied down and satisfied until dinner.

Try the portobello pizza for dinner with a big salad! (and water!)

Well its almost lunch any way so that will prob be brunch. LOL. I have pretty good energy today. Day two and three I was kinda dragging

I can only eat buffalo wings if I have a fork.

Glad you have more energy!
