well, today's my weigh in day too....and there's no change. No loss, and no gain. So I'm grateful.

work is absolutely I.N.S.A.N.E. right now...but I do pop in and read every day.

Be blessed...and stay on plan!!!

Good morning, all! And newcomers!

I'm going to go weigh in but, it's BEFORE the shower and we all know what that means!

ok, not bad - 10.5 lbs so far I was hoping for a little more of a loss but I'm thinking I'm not drinking enough water. I may have to get some Divinchi (sp) SF syrups to flavor my water. I've been staying legal, making good choices as to what I'm putting into my mouth... so I feel healthier, have more energy, and have that reduced appetite the good Doctor talks about.

have a healthy day!

I did my gym thing two days in a row and am really feeling it; especially my legs! Today's my "day off" from the gym but I plan on walking or riding my bike. A bike ride sounds good, our subdivision has walking/biking trails so I'm going to check them out. I've been sticking to plan and trying to drink my water. I'm a pound down this morning but will wait until Monday for the "official" weigh in. I bought KetoStix which is probably a mistake...I'm still reading negative. Oh well...

Have a great day everyone!!!
Keep up the great work! What kind of workout do you have at the gym? Cardio? Weights? I need some ideas.. I usually just end up on the bike or elliptical.

I need to have someone show me the weight machines at the gym, otherwise I would probably do it wrong/bad posture/etc...

LC Monster is an energy drink that I've recently started to enjoy, here is a link to the nutritional info. Monster Energy - Unleash the Beast
(Thanks LCinHouston, you got me hooked!)

Bav,
You are really plugging away, planning the right meals and water and getting soooo close to wonderland. Nice Job!

Today starts my TOM. I will weigh on the 31st and will be soooo happy if I can cross the 20 lbs mark.

Does anyone drink coffee and still have good results?

Have a good day everyone.

Good job Bav and nedn2lose... you are both so inspiring!

I am still sticking to this well... I haven't cheated at all and I'm working on planning my meals ahead of time so that I make sure I stay within 20 carbs. I do need to start drinking more water... especially since I'm sick right now too. I'm always horrible about drinking water. So, something to work on...

Today's Menu:
B- 1 oz. cheese, lc yogurt, lc pb cookie (6)
S- pepperoni and mozzarella (1)
L- jack-in-the-box club salad (5)
D- grilled chicken and mixed veggies, sf jello (3)
TOTAL = 15

Hi Cindy! Thanks for your comments. I will be ecstatic to be in onderland again.

I've been drinking a SF vanilla or SF cinnamon dolce americano with cream almost daily (I make it at home--it's 2 or 3 shots of espresso, 3 pumps/tbls of the SF Davincis/Torani, 4 teaspoons of heavy cream and then add enough hot hot water to fill up my mug.) I am not going to have any next week (I'm going to try real hard!!) just to see if it slows my progress any. For the last few days I seem to be fine...

Just make sure if you use powder/liquid coffee creamer it isn't one of the "fake" sugar free ones---they have CORN SYRUP solids in some of them!!

I hope you feel better soon! When I'm feeling under the weather I'll usually up my water intake and drink a lot of tea. (Oh! And don't forget your multivitamin!) Do you have any big water bottles--32 ounce or larger? My requirement is I have to finish at least 3 per day. I drink 32 before I go to work, 32 at work (plus my coffee) then another 32+ when I get home.. Maybe you can figure out a schedule like that? I can't drink much at work because I don't have the extra time to go to the ladies room.

big hug for everyone!

At 216 this morning!! More movement!

This week my menu has been pretty much the same, dinner has been a sirloin burger or shrimp. Sirloin burger tonight, shrimp tomorrow...

My menu for today:
Women's One a Day, Biotin
B - 3 scrambled eggs with a turkey burger
S - SF Vanilla americano with 4 teaspoons heavy cream
L - 2 cups salad with 1/2 turkey burger
D - sirloin burger in a lettuce wrap (with a little horseradish)
96+ ounces water

Totals - Cals 1362 Fat 85 Carbs 8 Protein 133

I'm on board for 100 by Nov 08. I know I can do this.

So far as of Jan 08 08 I have stuck to Atkins 72 food options. I'm eating foods I enjoy and passing on the CarbSmart and other low GI products (even Atkins brand). I'm exercising daily. I'm also not hiding from social or clothes shopping situations.
I'll be weighing in sometime next week because my scale is packed up for the move to my new house.

zero! WTG on your loss thus far and the daily exercising!

Jennifer~I hope you feel better soon.

Bav~Ohhh ok! You make it at home daily. I wish I had an espresso machine at home to make them~save $$ and it would be just how I like it. Right now my fav is the Summit. It is SF white choc & caramel with real whip cream. There was a new girl being trained yesterday and you should have seen me craning my neck through that window (its a drive thru) to make sure she made it all SF. I also like Mt Ranier.

behind_the_mask~Aww,inspiring? Me? Im horrible at getting my water in too. I have to keep this huge 33.6 oz water bottle with me at all times right in front of my face or I wont think about it.Lets work on it together.

Hi & hugs to all!

Wow What an upbeat thread!!!! It seems we're all doing well.

Jennifer - I LOVE ChikFilA milkshakes - OMGosh, I've been dreaming about them - craving them---hold me back... Anyway, you've done well in the past, have been sick, so I know you'll be back on track real soon. I always feel better when I'm LCing. I'm sure you do, too.

I was up yesterday (scale-wise) and then down today. I weighed in (after shower) at 244.5 today, so I'll take it.

Tomorrow is DH's birthday. I know we're going to Red Lobster. I'll be fairly legal, although he says he's going to have a cheat meal. Good thing ChickFilA is closed on Sunday's!!!!!

I hope everyone has a healthy weekend.

Just dropping by to say "HI" to you all! I'm staying with it, just not posting a lot lately. Anyone know where Dissie, Sandy and Missy are?

On a GREAT note, after losing 59 pounds, I have been able to discontinue the blood pressure med. and diuretic I've been taking for 5+ years. I have been without it for 2 weeks now and doing great! Yes, I am getting checked regularly. The only yucky part is that I had a weight rebound within the 1st few days of stopping the diuretic - they tell me it's normal water-weight gain and will even out. I have taken over half of those pounds off already, so I'm only abt. 6 lbs. above the weight shown in my stats, and I really couldn't tell a difference in size from it anyway. Just wanted to share that; hope it encourages someone. Plus, better health is a better benefit than smaller clothes -- but OF COURSE the smaller clothes are much better for my ego

To all that have joined in lately, Welcome. Congratulations to all of you who are losing, and especially so to those of you who are sticking with your plan in spite of everything. Feel better soon, Jennifer, and to anyone else who is sick.

Joyce

Great Job!!! KUTGW. Today's is my DH's birthday as well. I've arranged a little get-together at a local ice-house tonight. I didn't arrange to do much because I had surgery on Friday, and I knew I wouldn't be able to handle a lot today.

don't forget about all the encouragement and inspiration you are to others, even when you don't know it. Just by seeing someone else is on plan can keep others from straying if they're having a hard day. Sometimes I get that little bug in my head that tries to tell me everyone else is doing so well, and my scale isn't moving - I'll just eat *this*, or do something completely off-plan. But knowing others are the in the same boat sure helps.

wooooo hoooo!!! you are amazing! keep it up sister!

well, work this past week was absolutely crazy for me, then I was out Friday having surgery. I am clearing the fog FINALLY this morning...they warned me it would be like this and they were completely right! I did have a couple complications during surgery, but they were still able to let DH bring me home the same day. He said I did/said some W.A.C.K.Y. things Friday night...I guess I'll have to believe him?

and let me tell you - my breath is so incredibly bad -- between still being on plan and the leftover sedation...WHEW...I could melt paint! LOL

well ladies, take care and stay on plan. I sure hope that everyone that's been MIA will come in a say hi, and let us love on ya...we miss you tons!

have a wonderful day!

Hi! Where do you get the drink with SF white choc? Also, Mt Ranier... is that a drink like the 'summit'? I'm confused, I've never heard these drink names before!
