what day of the week do you weigh in... I used to do Monday... but others do Wednesday... so I changed my date to Wednesday...

I said date/time... because I know some weight monthly or at the end of a time period... some... the scale is discouraging... I wish I had done my measurements in the beginning... I didn't... still haven't... I need to do it...

Well, just wanted you all to know, I am still here, plugging along and ready to get serious again. I can't believe all that time that I wasnt cooking for myself, I still stayed pretty much on track. Great job hubby for making me salads and eggs and bacon and stuff like that.

Missy, I'm sorry, but I missed the 15th weigh-in day. Put me down for 10.8 pounds lost on the 15th, will ya. That is, if we are still doing that.

I've been away all week due to being overly tired and from being disheartened for the body not dropping any weight. I'm still holding true to my WOE and the scale has started to move again.

Can't stay and catch up on everything and everyone, but I hope you peeps are doing well.

Cool looking for a diet buddy

I am looking for a diet buddy i started a diet today. I am doing the low carb. I looked in the mirror and realized I have never been this fat and summer is right around the corner. How did i swell? I need inspiration to get back to where i was happy at. If there is anyone out there that would like a diet buddy as well and that has alot to lose before summer I would like to be your buddy. thanks all.

Hi there! I posted a reply but I think I was in the old thread. I'm new here! I started my new Low carb lifestyle January 1st and have lost 15 lbs so far. My goal is to lose 100 lbs by Christmas! So I've got a long way to go! Congrats to everyone else with your amazing losses! I've been lurking.

morning all!

rough weekend, ate on plan except for Saturday night...it was expected, but still disappointing that there just weren't any more options. so, of course I'm up from last week's weigh-in, but I'm hoping lots of water today & tomorrow will help flush that meal and salt out.

According to the scale I'm still at 10lbs. lost. Induction is done but I think DH and I are going to stay pretty close to it. I told myself I 'd start exercise at 10lbs. so I guess I better get walking!

Mornin everyone! My scale hasn't moved for a while... I think i'm going to try Atkins 72 for a while (versus DANDR). I need something simple right now and I think this should help. I need to exercise more, my gym membership is for Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun so today I might have to go take a power walk around the mall or WalMart (it's freezing cold outside).

After overdoing legal foods for the pst week or so I crossed the line last night & ate Creole tomato & Tabasco potato chips. I feel soooo Wish I could bottle this feeling for the next time my resistance is low.

Hi All! Mind if I join your group? I know it's a little late but I just got restarted again yesterday.

OK, here's my little story...I started Atkins in June 2002 at 291 lbs. I did very well (for me) and within a year or so was down to 201. Since then I've tried to stay low carb but got caught up in all the "low carb" products that were on the market and am now back to 235. I also went back to a pretty "inactive" lifestyle and started working night shift again. (Working nights really messes with your metabolism!)

I started strict Atkins again yesterday and went to the gym (curcuit training type). I'm putting everything into FitDay to keep track, trying to drink water, which I hate!, I'm going to start a day shift mid-February, which should help, and have promised myself that I'm going to get this weight off this year, enough messing around!!!!

Hello again everyone! I am BACK... I was on a very long hiatus during Christmas and my Birthday, but today is my restart date and I am committed to really sticking to the lc lifestyle NO MATTER WHAT!!! Plus, my hubby and I are so sick of how we feel (sick!) from all of the holiday treats, comfort foods, fast food, etc. that we've been eating the past month. We ARE READY to become healthier! Anyway, I STILL hope to lose 100lbs by Nov. of 2008, which just means I have no room for excuses!

I'm encouraged by how well you all are doing! Keep it up!

Hi & to the new peeps!

Been really sick with something awful. Just a quick check in for weigh~in day:208.8. Down 1.2 this week. Not the usual but it sounds good to me right now. I really did not expect to lose anything with the way Ive been eating. LC soup (full of sodium),nuts,less water and more diet soda and lots of cheese,cream and just an all around too much amount of legal foods. Not sure if I was trying to eat things to actually find a food I can taste while being sick or if I wanted the comfort from them.
Hope yall are feeling better than me.

Hello everyone! I'm going to start posting my menus to help me keep fitday updated (and to keep myself more accountable). If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please let me know!

B - Egg and Turkey burger on an oopsie roll
S - LC Monster
L - 1 cup salad with leftover salmon, 1/2 turkey burger
D - Garlic shrimp and 1 cup of salad

64 ounces water

Totals: Cals 1113, Fat 59, Carbs 15, Protein 126.

How's this look? (I'm going more off of 72 than DANDR.)

I can usually drink 100+ ounces of water/day but today it seemed like I was forcing it. Hopefully that wont continue to happen.
