Wow! I'm gone for a few days, and come back to lots of newbies!

The scales were up three pounds this morning, but I know it's because I've been on the couch all weekend. Isn't it amazing that you don't cheat and yet the scales go up when you don't move?

Goodmorning everyone! I am down another 3 lbs this am.... I told you I was going to be below 350 this am....lol

Pooraggie sorry you gain, it will come off soon....

Laura
- some of us weigh daily some of us weekly... I weigh daily.... I see a big fluctuation when I do, up one day down the next, its like a roller coaster..... didn't you just weigh yesterday....

if you did, no gain is a good thing....lol

oh, and if tom is 10 days away, some people start experience the effects as early as two weeks....

I am curious to what was in the ice coffee you got from duncan donuts..... do you know the carb count on it...

intheprocess & white house- you guys are droping like leaves in autum.

Msturdy- hello

lisa 3pounds is so great.

Penny-howdy

I am 30 punds down and I started on june1. I have had a somewhat rough summer. I know I could have lost more( maybe) , but I dont think I ever spiked up more than3 pounds. My life is and wil be a roller coaster for a while. I really want to get thin and healthy fast but, I am probbably better off to loose it slow. I will be more likely to be able to maintain it long term. Years ago I lost 70 in 4-5 months and in the next 3 years gained back 40. Going up and down like that is not good for me. I am still pushing for my 25 more before nov 10.

tiffani- here is the update on the kiddos. 3y/o went to preschool today and the oldest are in school to. 3y/o is about 90% better. 1 y/o yanked out his stitched in cathder. He is doing ok, but I are takeing him to th DR today. Dodger the dog is shy. I think he thinks he is human. He follows me every wear. He has no clue what to do with a toy, and he is already potty trained. (advantage to getting a 11 month old dog!)

todays posts will be done with my 1y/o on my lap so bare with me.

hey Lisa, If you didnt notice I got a dog. I had been thinking about it for a few months but after hearing about your shiz so? I had to do it. We were told it is a snozer?(Sp?) but he looks like a (shiz so) with a short tail and smaller eyes. I am going to research him today. He is sweet heart. Very tolerant of the kids. My 1 y/o thinks hes a stuffed animal. I have to watch. I gave dodger a bath last night and he sat so calmly. Wow it was so great. We really got lucky.Aside from any sicknesses he may get in life we have a great deal on vac's. We almost got a cat.

Ok I stand corrected. He is a gray haired Schnoodle. He is a cross breed with a poddle. I'm just glad he's not leaving me puddles. LOL

everyone!
Sorry I've been awol lately. Long weekend - I was sick yesterday and having problems with sugars. They kept bottoming out in the 60's-75's. Was really sick so I stayed in bed most of the day adjusting my meds. not fun for a day off.

Did hit goal this week. Down to 302. That's 17 pounds in the past 3 weeks and 27 since June. Really, really happy with that. My goal this week is to get under 300 - that will be awesome!!

Calculated my miles for the past 3 weeks and it was at 14.88 miles. I also took measurements - down 8 inches overall.

Very happy with my results so far. We do have 10 weeks left so yeah! WE CAN DO THIS. I read the end of last weeks posts and WOW ya'll are great! Everyone is dropping weight and we are all doing so well! WAY TO GO!

Laura!

kbetz - you have been put through the ringer lately! HUGS honey. You hang in there. I hope your babies are doing better - and what a little speller you have!

mycattaz - you rock girl!

I'll check back in later. Ya'll take care today! This will be one of my long days.

Hi Ladies:

Welcome to all the new people. I tried catching up on all the posts last night. You have been a busy bunch! Yay, all the more exciting.

I walked 18 miles this weekend. I was so glad when we hit the last time around the golf course. It's a beautiful wooded trail, but three days in a row got rather tiresome. After I walked DH and I went south (a 2 hour drive) to see DD1. I stayed true to plan, but had way too much diet coke at the restaurant. I'm up this morning, back to 190. Sheesh. I really don't think it will stay with me too long though because I don't usually indulge in diet drinks and because I exercised a whole lot may be a factor too. So today, no diet soda and I'm going to take a day off from exercising (well I might go for a short walk at lunch time).

Kbetz: Congrats on the new dog. I love dogs. My DH hates the cat and is set against getting a dog. I'm going to try to talk him into getting one once all the kids are moved out.

Penny: I feel your frustration. I was so disappointed when I got on the scale this morning.

Jennay: Hi, its good to hear from you. I hope the new school year gets off to a great start with your new job. DD1 has been in the class room (student teacher) for the last two weeks and today is her first day with the new students. She was really excited.

Tiffani: Wow, what a story. You are such a strong person. I'm really happy you found a wonderful husband!

Laura: I'm addicted to my scale. I weigh daily and sometimes more than daily. I'm so afraid I will go a week, thinking I've lost and jump on the scale to sheer disappointment if I haven't lost anything, so daily it is. I'm such a slow loser anyway. I have to lose the same 2 lbs over again about 5 times before they finally stay off.

Hi Lisa, Divine, Intheprocess and everyone else!

Just a quickie - everyone is talking about their 'babies'. Here are mine

My boys are my world. I've had them since they were 3 weeks old. We had to bottle feed them every 6 hours for about 1.5 months until I got them on solids. Gave them baths, etc. They are my babies. They are now 3.

WTG! on all that walking... you are more then likely right... its just retaining fluid from all that walking.... And I know from reading on here alot of people have problems with diet coke... just drink plenty of water today you should be back down to the 180;s very very soon

Bug, they are so adorable... i love kitties.... we have a couple of strays in our back yard... one of them is a solid white with alittle black on its tail... it has a blue eye and a green eye...it had a flea collar on it when it showed up here..... someone must have dropped him off in the neighborhood.... he just recently hurt his foot, its so swollen.... we think maybe a snake bite him while we were gone.... i have tried to look at it, but he won't let me near it.... dh said nature has a way of taking care of them... I prayed for it last night... i do hope it gets better.... the other one is a kitten, the older white male cat has been looking after this one... its funny to see him take on the mom roll....

mycatz - they are my babies. The grey one's name is Tybee (Ty for short) and the orange one's name is Hemingway (Hemi for short). They think me and DH are their parents. We love them. They are our world. They sleep with us at night. We got them the year we got married.

Dreamcometru - both of them have their personalities. HA! They are just like little kids. You wouldn't believe. Last night I had to get on to them and I sent them to their room. LOL

Lisa: Your babies are adorable. I love the grey kitty on the suitcase. My cat does the same thing. Anything weird he likes to lay on. Your dog is adorable.

Bug: Yah, thats my Misty in the tree. Stuck, of course! He went through a phase of climbing in our two oak trees and then couldn't get down. We would hear him crying from inside the house and have to go rescue him. He doesnt do it any more. I think he's learned.
