I thought about the shiz ,what ever to, but is there hair a nightmare to deal with? I do everyones home hair cuts. I couldnt see sending him to the grommer when I dont send my kids. lOl

thats very true.... I am bless in alot of ways.... my MIL and FIL live right next door to us... and i have know then since I was 15.... my parents live in tennessee, we see them about every two months.... we don't always see eye to eye of things... but we still love each other....

Unhappy Hi all........I'me new and need to lose 100pds!!

Hi I'm Laura stoping to say hi. I need to lose 100 pds. Ive been doing South Beach for a week now.....1 week is an accomplisment for me, never made it a day and a half I am struggling so so bad today!!

yes, they have to be groom about every 6 weeks... I keep his hair cut short.... lazy...lol... i did cut it myself some.... it just traumatizing him when i do....lol.... I would rather pay the 30 dollars and have him done... but i work out a deal with my groomer last time I see her.... I do fudge to sell this time of the year and she wants 30 dollars in fudge.... lol so that works for me...

just got to get thur cooking it without tasting...lol

Laura, so glad you made it nice to meet you lol

its tuff making it thur the first thur days... if you are lucky you don't get the introduction flu... but if you can make it thur about 4 to 5 days then ketosis kicks in and its so much easier....

Dont ever worry about spelling with me. I cant spell for anything. I am so bad I dont even know it is spelled wrong.

So how are you with your 12 week goal and your year goal, or any other goal?

Laura I am not on introduction anymore... so I have been eating a few grapes... I did introduction until I just totally stopped losing, upped my carbs to about 25 to 30 a day and started to lose again.... Sunday is always one of my more hungrier days for some reason...... don't know what that is about, but during the week it is always so much easier....

Kbetz- I am 64.4 lbs down for the year... 35.6 to go to make my 100 lbs gone.... as far as my 12 week goal... well I am still in the red... got to get those vacations lbs off
first... I figured by next week maybe I will be back to the beginning weight of 345.5 or at least I hope so....

I have 48 miles to walk and 25 pounds to loose. I need to get my self in gear. I think we have 10 weeks left. 2.5 pounds on average a week and 4.8 miles. The miles can be acomplished easily by walking back and forth to the kids school. It is a hair under 2 miles round trip. I could walk there twice and do one lesly sampson mile each week. That 2.5 pounds might be an issue. I have not been able to get the scale to drop below 250
(except for about a week I was 242 3 years ago) In fact this 250 is a new low.I just kept relooseingthe same pounds most of the summer. I have herd people say you can stall at a point where you have stoped before a few times. Your body is programed or something. I need to find the strength to push clear thrue the 40s and get to 239. Wow that number looks strange to think I could be that.

Lisa I forgot I am 30 down for the year or actually for the summer. I started june 1. I wont likly loose 100 in 2007 but I needed to. If I could loose my 30 by nov10 and then 10 more by dec31. I would be very happy. That would be 65. I could deal with that.

I know what you are talking about.... i have tried for years to get below 350, just to gain it all back again.... this time i have a whole new mind set.... I did get down to 339 right before my trip in june.. and I am back up again.....

I really need to start walking or something... I know i said I was.. well I haven't yet....lol.... but I have been trying to catch up on things after the trip... ok enough excuses...right Lol.....

the only thing that has kept me from reaching my goals is me.... I do know now that stalls happen.... and its not time to give up, but to push threw it.... yes the scales will finally show a lost, just have to stick with it..... also I know even though the scales say I am not losing a thing, my cloths tell a whole different story.....

kbetz it took my brother over 2 years to go from 550 to 279... october will be 3 years for him.... but he does not get off the diet...he is very dedicated to it and the exercise

Fudge sounds so good. My dad makes a PB fudge that is wonderful. I saw some one took walden farms marshmellow and mixed in even parts of PB. I might try that but the last time I had W/F marshmellow I had bad stomach pains. I am hopeing that it was just old. I like the idea.

I was doing gr8 until today. I had bbq sauce for dinner, and I think that triggered the sugar cravings. I ate some redi whip lite, 3 SF popsicles and then some lite whipped toping............I dont know how mant carbs. But I feel so bad about myself now I guess it could be worse?

Laura I read the book on southbeach... tried it alittle and then went back to Atkins.... it works for me better... not sure why, it just does.... I even switch to Weight Watcher for about 3 weeks this year and went back to Atkins....

I was trying to do introduction and stick to it.... and thought if I added fruit I would put the weight back on.... but after much reading decided it was time to try to climb the carb latter... I am still scared to go to far pass the 30 carbs... but at least with 30 carbs I can have a piece of fruit a day.... I ate oranges until they went out of season... wasn't as sweet and now I am on a grape kick.... they are so sweet right now....

you might be one of those people that are sensitive to the sf stuff that they use.... alot of people don't tolerate it good...

lisa- congrats to your brother, I have no room to talk, but I wanted to point out to you that from what I have seen when you loose, you really loose. Like I said. I my self have gotten sloppy a few times. I let life take control. I know we can do it.

Luara- have you ever tried atkins. I like the structure.

laura don't feel bad about yourself.... one thing i have learn thur all of this is.... if you slip, just get right back on with the next meal.... and the bbq sauce is not all that bad.....

kbetz, I guess because I weigh so muchthat i tend to lose alot when I lose..... back in june I drop 15 lbs over night.... yes, no kidding.... 15 lbs.... I know it was all water....

like the other day droping 5 lbs overnight.... wish I could do that everyday....lol.... skinny in no time at all....
