Well I am down another 1.5 lbs this am.... slowly moving downwards again.... Since i have not had a normal period since starting back on Lc... its had to tell sometimes when its that time of them month.... sometimes I don't have one at all, but I still get the bloat, and water retention from it, so I know its that time of the month..... I am weighing in at 345.5 this am.... and hopefully in the morning I will be down some more... I am leaving in the morning, going on vacation, will be going to gatlingburg, we are so excited.... its not our first trip there, but we always love to go....

I won't be back until next week sometimes.... will think about you guys and miss you....

today
breakfast 2 egg omelet w/candian bacon and cheese coffee/cream
lunch 2 boiled chicken legs
Dinner- not sure yet....

will be back later

Ok , today is the last day before school starts for the kids. I woke up this morning early and made them breakfast. They were stil in bed and I looked out into the backyard where we had spent so many days. It is empty and I am going to miss them. Oh it is not going to be a good day. The tears are already comeing.

Hello everyone I hope ya'll had a great weekend.
The swoosh fairy visited me Saturday (my official weigh in date). I was up Thursday at my doctors appointment - I guess I was retaining lots of water. By Saturday, I was down 7 pounds! Down to 312 as of Saturday - happy dance happy dance happy dance!

Goal this week - lose 5 more pounds by Saturday.
Up this morning and already walked the treadmill at random 1 for 1.60 miles. Feeling a little bit better this week.

mycattaz - have a great time on your vacation - Gatlinburg is so much fun! We are thinking of going there if we ever get a chance to vacation again any time soon! There's so much to do. You'll be missed this week!

kbetz0419 - hugs - on your kids going back to school. Hang in there!

Still no loss to report. I was so sad yesterday. Just can't seem to climb out of the 190s. Anyway, I did work out hard Friday night at the gym, saturday at the track and sunday at the gym.

Kbetz: Congrats on the rides. That's so cool. I know I wouldn't go for a long time, but I probably can now.

Divine: Your 3.5 hour workout puts me to shame. But because I read your post, I got up and went to the gym, so thank you!

Well this morning the scale was back at 268 But I know I did it to myself, to much of that "homemade" ice cream!

Christy: I fell into that trap. I made the homemade ice cream. It was so good! Later I looked at how much fat was in it and how many calories! Ahhhhhhhh! Way too many, so I haven't made it again. But I will, in time. My kids went crazy with it this weekend. We have a place where we can buy DaVinci's and we bought like 8 different flavors. They made all kinds of ice cream. I stuck with club soda and raspberry flavor DaVinci's. No worries, you are doing great. I'm going to try really hard to stick to plan (induction standards) strict this week including my workouts. Just can't seem to drop anymore. This is the biggest stall ever.

My Report Today: Well, I'm UP by .4 lbs. (Yesterday I was DOWN .4 lbs.) So the yo-yoing is still going on, but I think this time it's due to the 3.5 hr. workout plus the rainy, humid weather (always makes me retain water). Still - that did it, now I'm plain MAD.

So I decided today I will do Lyle's "Rapid Fat Loss" (RTF) program this week, after shaking it up the past few weeks and cycling calories, fats, proteins, and carbs. When I think about it, I realize now that how I was doing Kimkins at first was more similar to his program (about which I knew nothing). That is, on my own initiative, I was limiting my lean proteins and eating every 2-3 hrs, and having just two tiny salads OR green veggies. (But - here's the kicker - I was using low-carb salad dressing and sometimes a bit of butter in the morning for my eggs. Somehow I still managed to keep the fat grams pretty low - probably around 30-40 per day). Plus I exercised in the water, 3 times a week, and 1.5 hrs. each time. I dropped 26 lbs. that first month.

At any rate: Now, after shaking it up the last few weeks, I trust that my metabolism is ready to respond to the Rapid Fat Loss program. I will watch my daily protein grams according to his recommendations, because I am definitely continuing with the exercise!

I forgot to tape measure yesterday, darn it, but the inches lost so far are a sure indicator of success. Sadly, I was starting to lose my mojo, due to this 4 week stall, until I got on the various exercise machines on Saturday afternoon (2 days ago)...that is when I really noticed the difference from the time (3-4 months ago) when I first tried them. Especially the "ab cruncher" - I could barely squeeze into it. Now I can slide right in there, though I'm still too busty to feel totally comfortable with it. While that really can't be helped, I could get in there and I did do the crunches!!!

Dream: You're kidding, right? You, the lady who can walk endless miles? I was thinking of you as I huffed around that darned track at the end of my 3 hr. workout...walking like that has always been hard for me, but I was determined to go at it for at least 15-20 minutes. That's how long it took me to walk just 1/2 mile...and I had to stop and rest for a few minutes halfway thru (my left hip was whining). So that's not great speed, that's for sure, but it was fine for me.

Bug: My heavens, what a WHOOSH that was! Happy dancing here for you!!! WTG, girl!

Mycattaz: Sweetie...I hope you have a beautiful vacation! Btw, hon,I don't know how to say this except to gently point out...the dates for this thread say July, not August. Do we want to just ignore that or start a new thread with the August header???

I'm weighing in every Saturday. My goal is to lose 60 pounds in 12 weeks before I go back to my doctor. That averages 5 pounds a week. That will put me 1/2 way to goal at 259 - another 60 and I will be under 200. I'm going to give it my best shot! WE CAN DO IT!

Dream No wonder you didn't lose any on the scales.... doing all that exercise you are gaining muscles... and you know that weighs more then fat.... So, If you think about it you did lose fat.... but the muscle you put on, just weighs more.... Don't fret over the scales.... keep doing what you are doing... and soon you will be able to tell in your cloths that you are truly losing....

Kbetz-How old are your kiddos? Mine are 16, 15, and 11. I have really been struggling lately with the 16 and 15 yr olds growing up. ONe's a junior and one's a freshman and it's hard to let them make their own decisions. The driving thing is really difficult. I've always been able to protect them from everything. NOw, I have to trust that my diligent parenting and prayers for them will keep them safe as they try to spread their wings. I heard the song "Butterfly Kisses" the other day and I lost it. I was boo hooing. I need to keep them little.

Hello ladies
Just a real quick post, first I like to say thanks to all who thanked me, and gave their blessings, and told their stories in response to me telling you all about my 2nd job with the children. I've been so busy so I was not able to post but I did just read them all, so again thanks for the words of support.
Also, I'm reporting a 9 lb weight loss, that's for two weeks I didn't weigh last week due to the weekend family reunion trip. I'm a little disappointed I thought it would be more but a loss is a loss, I guess that weekend did more damage then I thought. Oh well, I guess I have to kick things up a notch.
You wonderful ladies have a great day and congrats to all those that loss and for those that didn't "keep on movin on"

Hmmm, what can I do with this? I will join you in looseing 30# in 12 weeks. That means my average is 2.5 pounds per week, but I will look at the big picture of 30 gone in 12 weeks. Monthly hormones fleuctates my loss. I will be 222 in 12 weeks. So would that be Saturday,Nov 10?

I am going to change my signture so that it reflect this.
