We had found them in a ethnic food mart and my husband had bought some kimshe. He served some of his military time in Korea and likes that stuff. Yuck!

Miss M, Aggie, anyone else who has gone up, keep your chin up, we are in this together and if I could snap my fingers and make it all go away I would. I wish I could help, but I see you all have the right attitude- the stickin' with it attitude! Soon you'll be losing again and feeling better. I know how frustrated I have been during my two, three, four, five week "stalls" Keep working at it and it will pay off in the end. The only thing that I can think of is when we are doing this WOE our bodies are changing so much for the better, sometimes they just need to catch up with themselves... does that make sense? I hope so. Hope you are all on big losers by tomorrow!
I hope you dont mind me saying this but beware of your cycles. If your are not wanting a pregnacy rite now, you might try an extra meathod. My oldest son was concieved on the pill. I was also on antibiotics. I now know they effect things. I'm not sure for your situation but if your cycle is not insink with your pills cycles beware.( talk to your DR.)
Congrates on the loss.

Tanie congrats on the loss your are an insperation

penny- Im glade to see you got your wosh

mycatz,- I to feel like I need to come here everyday. My husband says I;m obsessed, It keep me going.

Diveinemiss M- I have been trying to follow the refeeds, but have been so buisy.

I know there are some people I missed so I am sending a big hello out.
I did want to share though what I have been doing if any one is interested.
In july I kept lossing the same 2 pounds or just maintaining. Its now Auguest, and I have started losing again. As we all know what works for one might not work for others.
I ran out of the protein shakes July30 and I havnt been drinking them....Hmmmm. weighloss, I stopped eating bacon...hmmm more loss, I found some great sales on steak so I have been eating it like crazy.I cut every thing into an index card size. We have been putting every penny into getting the kids ready for school that I have also been eating lots of eggs. Cheap!.

I know that there is some theory on good fats, but I havnt found the rite amount for me yet. Because I love the extra fats so much I had to make a limit. What I have been doing is allowing my self each day one of these things. ( a TBS of Pb, veggys fried in oil. T-marzettis ranch dressing, a serving of cheese, or some microwaved pepperoni.) Just one of these each day as a treat. I havent been haveing the drunk feelling. I am not counting calories or anything, I only did for a few days in july. I eat on a child size plate, and as soon as I feal not hungry I stop. I am eating about 4 times a day.
All I know is the scale was stuck at 258+or - all threw july, and now its rolling again.254 (26 pounds)
I dont know but i think i'm going to stick with this in aug. I have been reading about egg fast and I might try that for a day or two. mmmmm the incredible edible egg.

Good morning ladies. I have a buisy day ahead of me. I am going to take adantage of the 70ish degree day. i am going to trim the bushes and trees, touch up the pant in 3 rooms, clean my sons crib. clean out the kids closets and dressers, wash and clean out the van, and pack the kids bags for this week. 3 of them will stay with my dad, while one of them goes to the hospital. Hubby has to work, so my dad is watching the kids.
( he's a wonderful grandpa)

Any way I just wanted to say hello and wish every one big woshes this week.

A long reply, catching up with past posts...

Redhot-how's it going now that you are back with us? Glad you came back to us, are you losing again?

Paula- how are your losses coming along? Are you in the 180's yet? You are so dang close, any day now!

Dream- I know you are close to the 180's too, and I am working so hard to catch up with you and Paula...

Tannie- I see you lost some more, you can almost taste onderland now! Gosh you are just amazing, I hope you know that I just think "WOW!!"(and sometimes even say it out loud) each time I read your stats. I know your family must be so proud of you too!

Hey catz, Jamie, and aggie! You are all doing great... keep it up we are all headed in the right direction now- in the direction of looserville!

Miss M- in summary this is last week- I pretty much stalled for a week priosr losing and gaining the same 2lbs, keeping me right near 196- so I started experimenting on friday with refeed, it took me until Saturday to see a gain so I kept my refeed going all weekned (wine and pizza were the main componet to my sunday feeding). I was at 200 on Monday, went down to 194 for sure, but weighed in on thursday at 192.5 and friday at 193.5 I have stayed OP (KE) until today, I am doing a one day refeed, and will restart KE tomorrow am. I am hoping to loose about 7lbs next week. If I am at 195 tomorrow I will get to the 180's by the 11th- 187.5 will be my 50lbs lost mark.... keeping my fingers crossed that it works again. I will keep you gals posted...

Whew! that was a long one, to all you gals I didn't address personally in my post- ya bunches!

Jennay: Now YOU are giving me hope, because I gained 4.4 lbs. and today I haven't lost an oz. But if I could drop 7 lbs. after pulling this stunt, I'd be grateful.

I didn't know which WOE to follow - so yesterday I technically did Kimkins and today KE. I definitely need to find out more about this refeed business...but I do know there's a diff between it and a "free meal," and I've been putting whatever info that comes my way on the REFEED thread.

Btw, TANNIE! There's a call for ladies who have lost 200 lbs. for some big write up, and the the info is on the Livin' La Vida Low Carb website. But the app has to be in by TOMORROW! You would be wonderful and if you're not too shy, what a fantastic success story you are! And what a model, both figuratively and literally speaking. Second, though, you need to know that I that the guy behind the site has recently pulled his affiliation from Kimkins but I don't think he has any control about the write up...it's just an announcement on his blog cuz that's what he does. Anyway...Just passing this on as an FYI...

I'm still plugging along. This is my 7th week in the 180s.

I had 11 weekly weigh ins in the 190s. Hoping I can get thru the 180s faster than the 190s.

I've been doing pretty well getting in my water exercise this summer, so I'm pleased with that...and I've lost another inch off my waist, despite slow weight loss. I think the water has definitely been good for my torso...as I'm not a crunch sort of person.

I know we'll all make it...whether it goes slowly or quickly! The trend is DOWN, DOWN, DOWN!

Waving HI to everybody!

Miss M- yep, I said "taste it"! I can almost taste the 180's too, I am getting excited now that I am getting close to my halfway point and I am feeling pretty re-energized! I feel hopeful that I can still make goal. If I lose like Tannie (average 12/13lbs a month I can!, she is such an inspiration!)

Hey Ladies: Sounds like you all are doing great!

I'm holding steady. I had a slight increase in weight when I weighed in on Saturday and that hasn't left me yet, but I exercised up a storm and like Divine, I must have kept the weight on after walking the 6 miles each morning plus. Anyway, Jen, I suspect you are going to pass me soon. But I totally congratulate you on doing so. Great job on your fabulous losses.

Tannie: My losing friend, CONGRATULATIONS! You ROCK! I know I can do it because you've done it twice!Your example and success is a great boost for the rest of us.

Paula: It's been 9 weeks for me in the 190's. So I can totally relate. Oh well, like I said, the more closer to your goal weight, the harder it is to come off.

Jamie: Thanks for your encouragement on Friday.

A word of caution to those sticking with KE, Kimmers or even just LC'ing it without dairy for very long. Please take your calcium, vitamins and be sure to exercise. In the study, we have bone density tests. Several members of our group have shown a reduction in bone density over the past six months. That's totally scary. I wasn't one of them thank goodness, but I'm a cheese eater, love half and half (which explains my snails pace weight loss), take my vitamins and calcium tablets, and exercise. So I guess I haven't been affected, but it is so important to take that calcium. If a reduction in bone density can show up in six months, imagine what may happen in a year's time. I had no idea our bone density could be affected so quickly.
