The "All I Want For Christmas Crew" 154 days to go!!!!

Morning Ladies!!!
The heat has finally broke here!!!! It was 84 yesterday with a very nice breeze.....WOWOWOWOW did it feel heavenly It is supposed to be 88 today and low 90's all week........that beats 104+ ANY day of the week.

How are you guys doing with your mini goals? I haev been so close to mine so many times but being the bouncing queen that I am I wait to claim any loss for at least a day because I know my body and how it works But this morning I am calling and claiming my mini goal........229!!!! I bounced from yesterday but my goal was to get under 230 and I am there!!!!!!!!!

So it is time for another mini goal for me......not going to make it huge......at this point in the game I am keeping it simple.....next goal......under 225!!! Surely several more days of Stillmans will help me get there

Cindy I am so proud of you.........5 days at Curves is great!!!!!! You are doing great girlie. I know that has to make you feel good about yourself as well as feeling healthy and strong

Where has Sherry been? Come out come out wherever you are Are you surviving the heat up there girlie?

It has been nice seeing so many Christmas girls in chat lately. Keep coming in girls.....chat is support and support keeps us strong and focused

OK I am on my way to change my stats

Morning Melly,

New thread i didnt know....must be on sunday mornings? Have a nice day Off Melly.

So my mini goal is 129 lbs by Sept4th

Up this morning early took my poor pupppy out for a long walk.It has been too hot here to take him so we were out the door by 5am.Jumped on the tread when i got home and got the house all cleaned and vacumed.Turkey and all the trimmings ready to cook today. Its 7 am now I already have my daily water in.!!

Poor puppy gets so excited sometimes Im out in the yard doing some watering when he just starts running around the yard like a crazy dog........having fun till all of a sudden he slips on the wet grass and hurts his paw.Scared the crap out of me cause he didnt cry or anything just looked at me with deer eyes and i could tell he really hurt it but thank-goodness it isnt broken.Breaks your heart when you cant help them.I decided to walk him again slow just so it didnt stiffen up right away and he seems to be fine. he is napping in the hallway.

Im off to town to pick up a few things for my xmas dinner tonite and do a little tanning before it gets too hot here.Going to be 116 today

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA, been spending time with my DBF the past two weeks, and he left this morning. No job prospects, so things are unsure and frustrating.

Anyway, I've read up on the stuff I missed.

Loner & Cindy, excellent job with your workouts!!!

Pam, I laughed at "This morning my mouth tastes like our troops have been thru with bare feet." LOL Glad you found ketosis though! !!!!!

Lisa & Red, sorry TOM was unkind to you! Hope you're both feeling better!

Hi Pizzamomma! Hi Dawna! Hi Sinny!

Melly, sounds like you had a blast in Branson. I especially liked the story about you changing in the parking garage! LOL SO HAPPY FOR YOU FOR REACHING YOUR MINI GOAL!!!

Sherry, sorry about electric being out!!!

Loner!! BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Also, sorry about your mom!

Sunnigirl/Mel, to the thread! I like your exercising avi! LOL I wanna see pics of your puppy, he sounds so cute!!! Mine is a pom/chihuahua, her name is Sweetie. I her!! She was so sweet this morning when I was sad about my boyfriend leaving, she jumped up on my lap and gave me kisses.

I just have to give my two cents about pork rinds...YUCKY! Unless they can figure out a way to put cheese powder on them and make me think they are cheetos. Netrition, can you please work on that one!? LOL

hey Mel! Thanks for the compliment & Sweetie thanks you too (although she already knows she's cute LOL). I do chat occasionally. Used to be that I couldn't find a time that people were in there, so I reluctantly found my way over to the boards, now I'm hooked on the boards! LOL I will check in there later today though. Maybe I'll see you there!

Happy Sunday Had a great time yesterday, hanging out at the pool - didn't do quite as many laps as I had planned but I did have lots of fun. Today, I'm off to the store to get a couple of things done and then I'm not sure. My mini goal is to get to Curves 5 times per week, drink more water, clean eating and get below 300.

Pam - I red wine!

Melly - Way to go getting to the mini goal I really like the idea of mini goals - they seem more achievable.

Mel - Christmas dinner???

Heather - Glad to see you back.

Heather great to see you back I hope things workout with the b/f and the job situation....things have a way of working out in their own time

Cindy I like mini goals too.........when I first started I needed to lose 186 lbs and that was very overwhelming......smaller goals make it feel like you are getting somewhere

OK I am off to the recipe room to find something to do with my ground turkey

Thanks Cindy and Melly

Mel, you didn't see me, cuz I wasn't there! LOL I forgot! Have to finish up some laundry, take a shower, and make dinner (bacon and eggs) and then maybe I'll stop in before I have to pick up my folks from the airport.

Gobble gobble! LOL Guess I should buy some turkey tomorrow and join in on this turkey trend. Never had cabbage rolls, Melly. Let us know if you like them!

I love boars head turkey for wraps. Also, I like to season ground turkey with taco/chili seasonings (way better than beef tacos). I've done it where I've made a huge batch and I have it in a taco salad with salsa the first day. Then, I'll mix dreamfields elbows and cheese in with the leftovers the next day, so it's kinda like chili mac. I hate having left overs of the same thing over and over, so I find ways to change it up somehow. Hope you all enjoy your turkey!

My mini (ok MAJOR) goal is to get under 200, ONEderland!!! I hope it's possible!

Hi! Had a good day. It is really hot, we have been waiting for a contractor to put a hole in the wall for a wall air conditioner for about 2 weeks. It is funny how the heat never seemed to bother me but it just seems so much hotter. Worked for a couple of hours, bought some groceries and DH made a nice dinner of pork chops and salad. Tomorrow will be a challenge, it is my Dad's 86th Birthday and my brother and sisters will be coming to town but before they get here I'm going to Curves

Mel - Turkey sounds so yummy but without air conditioning, baking a turkey would not be possible.

Melly - I've never made cabbage rolls with ground turkey, but I've made them with ground beef and they were excellent. If they taste good, I would love the recipe.

Heather - You can do it!

Okay, I just had a friend call who said she needs to talk. Didn't sound very good, hope everything is okay.

D??

Late here..

Mom is ok... she is super jealous of my DS and I had a long talk with her yesterday.... the waitress made an error... but mom wanted it to be DS fault... I told her I am the only game in town and please do not stress me out over 2 or 3 bucks.... but the bill she paid was exactly right.... the waitress must have fixed it... it all boiled down to mom is jealous and was also crabby..

Cindy be strong girl, you can do it!!! It is only food and only one meal.....YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! My grandma will be 89 on Wednesday.....God is GOOD!!!!

Pam glad to hear you talked things out with your mom. Dealing with the elderly can be as frustrating as dealing with a 2 year old. But it sounds liek you are very patient and deal with her nicely. Has she always felt this way about your son? That would hard to deal with. Does he know and understand? Frustrating to say the least

Well I did not bounce this morning so I am "officially" under 230!! I had a great workout this morning. 35 minutes on the eliptical and weight lifting for upper body.

Mel how was the "Christmas" dinner? Tell us all about it......everything you had and was it all lowcarb?

Where is everyone? Busy weekend? Sherry? Loner? Lisa? Red? Melody? Sinny? Whoelse am I missing?

I am trying to get out of here early this morning so I can drop Aliyah off at my moms before work so I am off.........check back later

So after dinner we sat out on the patio and watch a awesome thunder and lightning storm.Had a little rain but not enough to cool us down.
Today we will be eating up the rest of the turkey and veggies. My son is dieing to have a turkey sandwich with cranberries and stuffing........going to surprise him and serve it to him in bed.!

Going out to do cut and trim the grass before its too hot. Will check in later

to the new faces.

We went to the parade on Saturday and it was hot. Then we went to the fair yesterday and it was hotter. Spent about 6-7 hours in the 97 degree temperature. Spent a fortune on drinks but it was fun. We are going again on Tuesday for the kids to ride rides. We won't discuss what I ate

Yes, summer is almost over now. We are going school supply shopping tonight at our new super walmart. I don't think I need to buy any clothes this year. Just shoes. I should buy a few things for them though. It makes going back to school a little easier if you get new clothes don't cha think?

Hey All,

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday. I had to work 1-9 pm Saturday..then, vor some weird reason, even though I was tired, I couldn't fall asleep. Like a doorknob..I ended up flipping channels and got totally hooked on a mive I had never seen before. It was from a few years ago..with Ashton Kutcher...about a couple who over a 6 year timespan..kept meeting-up. I have to say..he really was much better then I thought..and a very sweet story! Anyway..next thing I know it's like 12:30..and I had work the next day!

I'm officially sitting just above goal at 145.5. I'll take it. Tom is hanging-on for dear life..and the heat is killing me. Being honest..I should have gone walking today..but between the heat and this being my 8th straight day of work..I flaked.

Anyway...everything else is grand. Joe is moving right along with his plans..and this is the first Monday in YEARS..that he left for work and didn't look like hid dog had just died.

I still have to work this week..but am trying to take next MOnday off. Thought it would be fun to go play hookie with the hubby on his first official day "unemployed"
