Hi everyone,

I just came back from a 5 day visit to Aunt "Carbbies" oh my what a challenge. i have yet to get on a scale. I could not always eat low carb but i tried not to pig out either....i havent gotten on Mr. Evil Scale yet. I did get to the Hazleton PA YMCA 3 of the 5 days...and will get back to my Y in the early a.m. May try to do induction levels for a day or two.

Happy Wednesday All is well. Work was long. Curves was great and I prepared my food and eating was also good. Tomorrow, after a meeting in the morning, I work a normal day (meaning I get off work at 5:00 instead of 9:00 p.m.).

Melly - Hope you are feeling better. I'm sorry, I can't remember how old Aliyah is? I actually have a great relationship with DD -- most of the time.

Sherry - I'm sorry if I keep saying it but you are such an inspiration. Way to go!!! Did you see my post asking for progress pictures. You have lost an entire person.

Good morning....

I want to do Stillmans for a week.... anyone want to join...??

Hoping to get 7 lbs off... more would be great...

Clothes are getting tight... here and making me feel all day long.... and I have nothing smaller to wear!!!

21 meals... actually I started yesterday... had my boiled eggs this am so I am down to 17 meals to go.. any one want to come along??

Pam I will do a week with ya........can't start til tomorrow, Friday, but I need to do a good week of Stillmans......I keep bouncing and need to hit my mini goal......only have a pound to go, well as of this morning anyway I have basically been doing Stillmans but throwing in veggies from time to tmie. Lately it has been alot more veggies so a good week of clean Stillmans would be good for me.....we on?

Pizzamama your hubby is in my neck of the woods.......well within a 225 mile radius You are right......this heat is a KILLER!!!!! It was 104 here yesterday but I heard on the news last night that it was 109 in Kansas City It is supposed to be 104 here again today.

We are going to Branson today. Not going to Silver Dollar City......too hot.....but I think we are just going to spend the day down there and shop and eat lunch and whatever else comes to mind.

I am going this morning to get a new set of nails put on. I took my old ones off last night so I would not have to wait for the nail tech to do it.....man does it feel funny typing with no nails....feels funny doing ANYTHING with no nails

Yes....Melly... I will go thru to Sat next week... hoping for 7 to 10.... my arm scars are hurting.... that is only 26 Stillman meals.... lean steak....ahhh, chicken no skin ahhh, tuna in water, ok... eggs.... yum, grouper, wahoo, dolphin ok... maybe cottage cheese... man I really got burnt out on that last time... tho... I will give it a new try... ok ok one meal at a time...B was 2 boiled eggs, L chicken no skin D Steak no fat... that was yesterdays food too.... ok I am a repetitive eater.. eat it and forget it... tuna in water makes me gain from the salt.... I try to avoid salt....

This morning my mouth tastes like our troops have been thru with bare feet... ketosis

Just wanted to give a big " You Go GIrls!! to Melly and Pam! Even though I know their both vetrans of the Stillman's club..it's not always an easy plan to do. I think your both amazing woman..and want you both to know were here for you!

I'm having the tom from He**...I am staying off the scale. I haven't cheated or even overate..but from past experience..I know when TOM is this bad..my water retention is high as well. I am proud to say however, that my mom had her B-day yesterday..and my husband ( who just loves my mom) went and got her 5 pieces of gormet cake ( each piece was a diffrent kind!) and I didn't have a single bite!!!! I love my Hubby..but the guy is still clueless!!! ( although he did get a big "A" for effort) One of the pieces he got "just for me" as it was made with no "flour" I asked him if it was also sugar-free...and he had no clue (LOL) of course..this means I didn't go near it..but man..it looked Goooooodddddd!!!!!

Hi all,

I did get back to the gym bright and early this a.m.

did 1/2 circuit and 45 minutes on the treadmill. only averaged about 2.8 speed and 3% incline but tomorrow i will increase it. i feel better already

didnt eat much yet today. only cheddar chips (about 6 oz) and a protein mix for dieters. my mom is sick with dementia and things are coming to a head so i have been on the phone most of the day with medicare and facilities. we took her with us on vacation and realized just how bad she is.... she is 81 poor soul, it kinda breaks the heart. she still knows everyone but just cant remember most things minute to minute or take care of herself.

anyway...i may eat a bag of berries tonite. or some porkchops not too much around since we just got back. have a great night all.

Hey All!

It's been an uneventful day basically ~ more work in more heat

Just ate leftover porkchops from grill (2 1/2 ) and once piece corn-on-cob it was all good though! No one else needed to eat so it works for me

Cindy, I get the impression you own a business, but must have missed your introduction, do you? What type?

Melly, DAHHH guess I never knew Missouri is referred to as the Show Me State, he's suppose to call me in an hour or so but now I can tell HIM what the temperature is THERE St. Louis itself is a 225 mile radius DAYUM! He is staying somewhere at a "Double Tree" must be a chain hotel

Pam ~ didn't u mean to say "you have nothing larger to wear?" Your stats show you at goal, congrats!!! Do you do maintenance? What has the temps been like in the Virgin Islands?

you are right I do not have anything larger.... I lost to 120 then down to 104... then up to 112-115 and bought lots of clothes.. which are now snug

maintenance for me is meat and veggies and crip crackers oh yeah and macadamia nuts and pistachios ... and red wine... I am a carbohydrate addict and in recovery..

85 to 95..is normal now with plenty of breezes...

Loner sorry to hear about mom. The trip was rough for her I assume. And you too. When I was talking to you I forgot you said you were taking her with you. Did your aunt enjoy visiting with her and vice versa? Hang in there girl I know that is a rough thing to deal with. My father inlaw had dementia and eventually died from it. I did not know him then but Darrell has told me things about him and what they all went thru and I know it is hard

Pizzamama I heard that St. Louis had terrible storms last night and over 350,000 people are without electricity......have you talked to your hubby yet?

Well we had a blast in Branson. We didn't get there until about 11:30 and immediately went to a theater where a friend of mine performs......The Platters.......wonderful show even tho we only saw the second half. They have a great show full of old school music and comedy. They have added some stuff to this seasons show and I really enjoyed it........if you like 50s music and old school stuff you would love it.

The rest of the day was spent at a spot called the Landing. It is new to Branson. Sits on the lake and is a walkway full of stores.......EXPENSIVE stores!!!! I think we counted 4 candy and/or fudge stores......thank goodness that stuff does not appeal to me but Robin (my workout buddy) went with me and she was drooling at the smell of fresh fudge We didn't even go inside

We took our kids and spent alot of money on both of them I came away with a bottle of lotion from Bath and Bodyworks.....oh yeah and a bottle of water.

You guys will find this amusing......I wore a pair of capris and a short sleeved shirt down for the show and took a pair of shorts and a t shirt to change in case we decided to do Silver Dollar City. Well we only went to the Landing and it was HOT so I really thought I should change to walk since it's all outside. I changed clothes in the parking garage with Robin and Aliyah standing guard........James (Robins son) had to stand behind the trunk. It was hilarious!!!!!! Just when I had my pants off and was trying to slip my shorts on they were both like WAIT!!!!!! Wait? I'm nekkid here!!!!! OMG it was funny.........something that only I would do

Hi! Another good day. Just got back from having dinner out, it was okay (salmon with the veges which were green peppers and grilled tomatoes). Feeling very tired. I've been to Curves 4 times this week and I am planning on going tomorrow and Saturday - we'll see if that can get the scale to move downward.

Mellie - 11 I remember. Hard to believe that was 4 years ago. Sounds like you had lots of fun on your day off.

Loner - I can so understand what you are going through. My Dad is just about 86 and has dementia. He has been living in a home since my Mom died. If you ever need to talk, just send me an email.

Pizza - Yep, we have a video store and as the video business has been changing, the store is not really doing very well. I've been trying to come up with something to do but my brain is just not working. Have been in business for 7 years and the location wasn't great but now the location is great and there is business all around me. Do you have any great ideas? Sorry, you missed your show.

OMG it is Friday already and I have hardly posted. Sorry girls. Keeping me busy with odds and ends, especially with the hubby gone all week.

I have been bad. Not eating right feeling bloated and yuck. TOM is rearing its ugly head. Went shopping with my niece last night and felt Yuck watching her try on her tiny size 4 jeans. Hopefully it will motivate me to get my AZZ in gear.

We just got a super walmart and we checked it out last night. I think I will like doing my food shopping there. More variety, lower prices. It is going to be the people I dont like dealing with.

Good news - DH got approved for his sugery. (Tonsils, soft pallette, uvula, etc - for sleep apnea). Now we just have to wait until they can fit him in the schedule. My time is running out for him "accidentally sufficating" in his sleep. LOL. I think he knows it to because he has been pretty nice lately.

Going to go to our state fair parade on saturday and maybe the fair on sunday. next week the kids and i will go to let them do the rides, etc. I am hoping we can start working on putting our fence back up too.

Lisa........have you ever TASTED porkrind cake? It is really pretty good. It has a salty sweet taste and most of the people that I know that have tasted it (reluctantly) actually liked it!!!

Melly we went to Branson Landing also Blake shopped till he dropped lol he loved it, I was misrable it was just too hot me and hot weather don't get along!
But we went to the 90 stores mall whatever it is called and the other one the tangler mall we had alot of fun I bought Becca some school clother and I baught the black rasberry and vanilla shampoo & cond. and the perfume ! I love it!

I also baught a sunflower quilt throw from the place where the imax was it is so pretty...

Well I am going to joing the bootcamp on Monday in the challenge thread I need it and I loved the last one we did...

Melly ~ I was already asleep last night when hubby called but talked to him around noon today and he said he's gonna be in today later than expected ~ he said Chicago airport is a mess causing delays all over

Red ~ good to see ya! Don't tell me it's "fair" time already, you know what that means don't you? Close to school starting and Fall upon us I refuse to believe it though

Melly ~ Does Aliyah want to shop Aeropostale again this year? Is she into Hollister yet ~ wait til you get a load of that place ~ It is so dark and crowded you can hardly get to the clothes and when you do you can't see the price Thier signature perfume is AWESOME though!

Cindy ~ Up until last year me and my dh owned a pizza shop (mom and pop type/not chain) for close to 7 years............Lotsa work huh! Funny, our good location, turned bad!!!!!!!!!! The township came in and widened the whole intersection taking nearly all our parking and left the whole plaza with one enterance, it killed us....I can imagine the video industry changes very quickly and would be expensive to keep updating. Too bad we don't live closer, you'd love us as customers, we're the ones that pay late fees out the wazzzzooooo! One time I think we owed Blockbuster like $ ???, embarassed to say They have that screwed up return time as noon on purpose for sure
