Here we are again girlies!!!!
New week and new thread!!! Not much going on with me. Worked til 7 last night which is quite late for a Saturday night as I usually get off early on Saturdays and instead worked late I am not sure if I have mentioned a certain salesman from work on this thread but he is annoying as hell and the most miserable and negative person I have ever met in my life. All he does is complain and whine......not to mention the fact that he doesn't sell anything. I am sure he has talked to people on the lot that were buyers but either he doesn't know how to sell or his attitude chases them away...OR BOTH!!!!!

Well yesterday it all hit the fan. He had a customer that was a buyer and did not do everything in his power to sell the vehicle. In fact he did the exact opposite of what I suggested and they walked........straight to another dealer and bought the exact same kind of car!!!! When our owner found out he was HOT!!!!!!! Called me and asked me to fire him So I had to do his dirty work and look like the bad guy but the good thing is that I dont have to listen to him b**ch and whine anymore and now we can get someone in there that knows how to sell. I am confident that he has cost me alot of money and I am sorry that he is without a job since he has a family but he really needs to think about getting into a different line of work because the guy is just not cut out for sales.

No workout today but at it bright and early in the morning......I am headed for chat if anyone wants to join

Yesterday was so gorgeous, well today is too. My mom and I headed into Vancouver in the a.m. just to walk around and we arrived unknowingly at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, so that was pretty neato. We walked our legs off all over the city and the mall, whew. That was so much fun, I know that 4 months ago I couldn't have done it!

Jenn, that must have really felt great! I walk so much now..it amazes me all the stuff right near me I had never noticed before! amazing houses..not to mention the Venice Canals are about 1/2 mile from my house. Can't wait for Melly..so I can go show them off ( hint hint..I'm not giving-up on you visiting me Melly!)

I'm getting really excited about my trip. I'm so looking forward to an uninturupted bath..meals when I feel like it..and not having to keep an ear out to see when the kid is finally off to bed (LOL) I'm not even going to mention no dishes or laundry..because I want you guys to miss me a little

btw, I'm leaveing at the crack of dawn on Friday am..so I won't be around from Thursday night untill probably Monday! Make sure your all a lot more sarcastic in my absence!

Jen that sounds like alot of fun!!!! I would have been in heaven...LOVE JAZZ!!!! I know you had to feel good about yourself being able to walk around and just enjoy being out and being in better shape Good for you girlie!!!

Lisa no need to give up....I WILL BE THERE!!!! Just not sure when now. Darrell has indicated that he might want to wait until after the first of the year. Aliyah starts middle school this year and it is alot different. 6 different teachers to answer to and a whole week gone from school....we will have to see....might have to make it spring break. But never fear......I WILL BE THERE!!!!!

Great workout this morning. My workout buddy left me a message and cancelled this morning, she was not feeling well. But I went and hit the eliptical and weights for upper body......feeling GOOD!!!!

Happy Monday girls. I have to say I got plenty of workout this weekend...I shoveled gravel and I am very sore today. Unfortunately I ate as much as I shoveled so the scale didn't benefit from the exercise.

My sister died of breast cancer 4 years ago and her husband got re-married this weekend. My niece and nephews hate the woman he is marrying (and my niece is only 17 and lives at home yet - it is a bad situation). Anyway, during the wedding it was pouring rain. When they were just about to say their vows there was a huge crack of thunder. My niece and nephews thought it was funny - a sign from God. Kind of makes ya wonder.

I might take my dog to agility classes starting tonight. Anyone done this? What can I expect?

Red....I would probably have thought the same thing......only I would have stood up and screamed it Have you met this lady? I am sure that it would be hard for the kids no matter who it was.....she is not their mom and it has not really been that long. Is your brother in law happy and what is your opinion of the lady? Hopefully the kids will learn to tolerate her if not like her. It would certainly make it a better situation for all concerned

I have met her and she seems nice. However, she is a back stabber. I have found out some things she has said about the kids and my sister and such that have bothered me. My BIL was a jerk to my sister her whole life but he was really hit hard by her death. He doesn't want to be alone and he found someone and thinks he is happy with her. She is total opposite of my sister. She tries to "parent" my niece and she is not used to that form of parenting and that is also one of the problems. My sister was quiet, put up with anything from anybody, and never raised her voice. This woman is harsh, yells, and wants to run the household. Not a good situation. My niece wants to move out. I told her to give it a try but if it is not good that she can live with us. The boys I don't worry about because they are 22 and 25 and out of the house. Dad has practically disowned them though and if my niece moves out I am sure he will disown her. It is a sad situation.

Well I am down 2 lbs today.....feels great!!!! I have lost 20lbs since May 1st.

Hello gang!

Sorry MIA latelely!

We went on a weekend-vacation to Marblehead and Kelly's Island ~ had a great time! My hubby's dad owns a cottage in Marblehead but lives here so it is rarely used and the best part is it's only a two hour drive to get to ~ nice three-bedroom on the docks ~ we packed up Thurs. and didn't get back til Sunday night WAY FUN ~ did all kinds of great stuff ~ but no more details since I am pooped from catching up on all the posts

But hey, a great big hello to all is gonna have to do for now!

You all have been busy posting and dealing with life's drama's but read each and every one and just want to tell you all I think your all great!

Red I hope that your BIL and niece can work this situation out. In my opinion the new wifey doesn't need to be parenting your niece at this point in time. She is the newbie in the family and doesn't need to be coming in and taking charge....BIL needs to step up and be the man of the house

We girls sad news in my house.....I am in mourning......my computer crashed yesterday. I was on the phone with Cheri's hubby last night for a very long time trying to figure it out and it is dead!!!! I have it in the car today and am taking it to the doctor......I guess as computers go it is old.....3 1/2 years. I have never had a problem with it before but it is deader than dead.......gotta get it fixed and soon

I had a great workout this morning. And got ready in record time for work as I had no computer time this morning

Boy, did I fall off the wagon... was like on a highwire without a net...no more no nets!!!! But am back to KE now and doing well. I am alternating caffiene free diet coke with my regular diet coke to try to wean myself off the caffiene. I have had a headache yesterday and today but I think it may be from TOM.

Found another before and after of Ty - thought I would share it. He is doing well still. He is able to eat a few things off plan and not gain. Lucky dog.

No weight loss - no cheats but I double checked my vitamins - we accidently switched a vitamin so when I checked labels it had DEXTROSE in it! So done with that one....should see some results soon.
Waiting on the house appraisal....
Now here's a question - lost enough weight that I purchased new unmentionables and am fitting in Misscarbsalot's hand-me-downs so everything feels incredibly tight. I go look in the mirror and it's all fine - nothing out of place or binding but I feel like a stuffed sausage. Anyone else run into that?

Hey Red,

Just wanted to thank-you for your post on the other thread ( red that adobable kid of yours!) I think you have a great head on your shoulders..and I commend you for doing something possitive with your family.

Jake is holding his own for now. I told him "summer" does not mean tv 24/7..so we have limited the tc time and he agreed to go walk with me in the am. It was really sad..as he was huffing and puffing by the time we got home. He always could out run me untill the last 2 years. I not only realized he needs more regular exercise..but how far I must have come this year being able to out exercise him.

My weight is up once again. I'm not panicking..as TOM is still here...but I'm not happy. I'm truly tired of having to eat like a bird to keep at goal. Being sick this year..really messed me up! Still...it is what it is..and I'm trying to stay possitive.

Red he has done so well.......have his friends noticed? It's great that he is becoming concious of eating healthy now that he is young and growing and can do something about changing eating habits before they become lifelong habits. Give him hugs and tell him WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!
