Hello~
I am back! and day 1 of induction... Oh Lord help me I hate induction! But I am gonna do it .

I don't get to go workout this week the ymca is closed for cleanup etc. they do that once a year... I am gonna miss workin out with my elderly friends.. I am just gonna have to get over it until next Monday.

Melly I know what you mean about glued to the tv. Steve made me turn it off for awhile... I was gettin way 2 emotional! I wanted to go ever there and hunt down the scum raping those babies! I have been really praying for those people. 2000 of them are coming today to Oklahoma not to far from me some are already in the city. Bless their hearts I just hate eveything that has happened.

Well I love yall and I will be posting now.... I know I know I have said that before but I promise this time.

Beginner's Exercise,,,,,,,,,,,,,

New exercise routine if you're over 40 (ish)
You might want to take it easy at first, then do it faster as you become more proficient. It may be too strenuous for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!

SCROLL DOWN

NOW SCROLL UP..

That's enough for the first day. Great job.

Have a wine!!! (or cuppa tea and a lie down)

Stats: Over 130 pounds lost!
I went to the doctor today and am happy to say they took out my catheter... I am so glad... 4 weeks just seems so long but I made it! I am so glad to be rid of my little "friend"... They didn't do what I thought they would which was fill my bladder up and turn the xray machine on to check for leaks... my doctor was confident that 4 weeks with the catheter would be enough and if there is a leak again that would mean another surgery.... What they did was fill my bladder up with saline... it was extremely painful and the nurse said that it shouldn't of hurt that much... but I told her being I drove my boys to school this morning and parked in the parking lot that was kind of far from the office my bladder was already sore and inflamed from alot of movement... Anyway.... they filled my bladder and then took out the catheter and made sure I could "go".. which I did... right now I am not sure if what I am feeling is normal or not... I feel like I do when I have a bladder infection.. I feel like I have to "go" all the time but when I try I can't... anyone that has had a bladder infection knows what I mean... but I think maybe by tomorrow I will feel more normal...

I want to thank everyone for the support you have given me... This surgery and recovery has been the toughest thing I have ever had to go through. Your concern and well wishes really has helped me through so much... Thank you again!!

Love you all!!

cheri

The discomfort, Cheri, would probably be due to your urethra being irritated from the catherter..removing it would have sloughed off the top layer of epithelial cells and so it may feel a litte sensitive for a few days ..hang in there..it'll go. Glad you got it out

GTSY again Dawna

Tony..you're a nut..but a fun nut

Later gang

Thanks Mandy and yes I am very very motivated... I am doing my own program though, I have to find something I will live with the rest of my life... I am completley cutting out all white stuff~ flour, sugar, potatoes etc. and I am limiting other starches to 2 serv. a day. and I have a carb control yogurt for breakfast wish me luck~ I bought the fitday pc to keep me on track~

I am very very excited about regaining my health!

Love 2 all~

sorry I havent been around, but this weekend was hell on earth. I went to another place my PT works at so she could get a second opinion from her mentor, and they both worked on me. That was friday. I was in severe pain from friday to yesterday. They assured me that it was just because they did so much work on me, but I don't know if I believe them yet.

Anyway, I feel a little better now.

Good things are happening. work is fun, I can't wait to go everyday, look forward to it. rehearsals have been a blast. I lost 20 pounds and am down to about a size 8-10. I am wearing 7's today, but there are still some 9's that don't fit, so I don't really know what size I am. Dang women's inconsistent sizes I have been eating lowcarb for the most part, and having the help of appetite suppression form not feeling well. I am eating healthy now.

Cheri, its good to hear that catheter is out. I continue to pray for you and hope you feel better soon.

Hey gang. Wednesday already. Wow. I could get used to 4 day weeks.

Roro - glad you are having fun. Take care of yourself, remember you have to look out for #1

Cheri - you are free, hurray! I am sure every day will continue to be better

Melly - Hi girl. What is up? You are pretty quiet lately

Mandy - Better cut back on the coffee and start on more water. Ha. Just Kiddin' I am a diet coke addict so go ahead and have some coffee

Dawna - you are so motivating. I need someone going whole hog like you to encourage me

Tony - People at work still call me Lena or Red. I listen to both. BTW - I love your exercise routine. I am only 35 but can I use it?

Gettinthere - I always keep my carbs as low as possible. Good job on doing induction again. I have a hard time keeping away from legal treats like nuts and such. don't know if I could do induction again.

Guess what? We are thinking about putting an addition on our house. I am so excited. I don't know if we will actually do it but DH says we can check into it. We would remodel our bedrooms and add on to give us 3 bedrooms, a big bathroom, and a laundry room. Now we only have 2 small bedrooms and a tiny bath upstairs. The boys share a room and it is a cramped 9x12 room let me tell you. Is it wrong to pray to be able to afford it? Feels wrong with all the hurricane victims and such with no place to live.

My husbands aunt asked me about atkins and I got her started on it. She is so excited. she has lost weight (not sure how much) and able to fit into her clothes. She is so happy about it.

Better get some work done.

Corn, my snug skirt, and Katrina

Why is she posting? *heads spinning?*. Well, I talked to Bubba, my favorite Katrina victim. So I’m dutifully here on his behalf, thanking those who inquired about his wellness. He is, in fact doing ‘well’. Monday his power was restored, and his spirits seemed nearly normal. He drove an hour from home and got groceries recently, an
