We are down 65.5 pounds - this is an amazing group - I have to check and see how we ranked...it takes me a while to catch up to the boards on Thursdays - so I will do what I can to re-read the last post...
Ok, today starts my actual GYM experience...I am going today to the gym after work and then every single day that I can from now on. all the exercising that I have done up to now has been in my house, my boot camp exercising and my video tae bo tapes...now, it is ME time and I am looking forward to this.

Here is the challenge for the first half of March.
___________________________ This is for March 1-15. Then I will post another challenge for the last 2 weeks of March. Here is the first challenge...it is easy...very easy and will hopefully get our teams back to posting, supporting and motivating each other. A big part of this challenge is teamwork. How active are you on your team thread? Give yourself 1 point for each day that you post on your team thread. If you make it 15 days with posting give yourself an extra 15 points for being supportive and motivating your team members. _____________________________ This wasn't posted on the first, so they said the 1st was a freebie. Try to post daily so you can get some extra points...not to mention supporting each other. We do that anyway. ![]()

hmmm...looks like I'm a little late on that post every day thing - think there will be some other March challenges? I hope the starters of the challenge are OK...I haven't really read up too much, but it seems like they may be taking a break or something? It doesn't matter to us though, we're PHAT anyway!

Hi Ladies,
Yes, I think the person who started this challenge has all but dropped out. There is some post about him being busy at work. I find it hard to believe that someone is too busy to find 2 minutes to post within the last month??? Maybe that is just me though. It doesn't matter to me who drops out as long as it is not one of us. I'm making a pork loin in the crock pot today. I can't wait for dinner. ![]() |

Hope all is well... I am making a huge push this month...it is looking like I am going to be reporting a 2 pound loss on the 9th of this month again, holy crap - 2 pounds a month is hard to take. I have started at the gym and started using Fit Day each and every day and never over 30...I am really trying so hard. No cheats at all since January...almost 2 whole solid months of no cheating for me now. |

Hi ladies,
Can the team leader pm me with the list of members on this team please? I have taken over for Shawn (with his permission) and would like to get a team list going. Also for the challenge from 3-1 to 3-15, I am giving everyone the 1st as a freebie since I didn't get it posted until the 2nd. It is my hope that everyteam member will post daily to help get the motivation and excitement back into the challenge. You all are doing a fantastic job and I for one can't wait to see your results on the 15th I will also let you know that since there are sooo many posts on the challenge board that when I need to let a team know of a new challenge or how to post stats, I will be posting on each team's thread. Sorry Ladies!!
So much is going on and I apologize for not posting much. My Grams has taken a turn for the worse and I have been at the hospital everyday. We do not expect her to last much longer. My Mother is a heart patient and is supposed to be having bypass surgery soon. So, between the two, I have been exhausted. I have to make sure my Mom (who says she is not leaving the hospital because she made a promise to her Mother) stays ok while she is doing what she feels she needs to for her Mom. Wild is all I can say.
I have been staying on plan as much as I can. I will honestly say that two days, I do not know what my carb count was. I wrote everything down at least so I could add it up on fitday. I will do that before the 14th, so I can make sure to post my stats to you, Fluff. I appreciate the private message and the email. Thank you all so much for worrying. I have been falling into bed and should have posted before now. I still want to be on the team, just please be understanding. I will add a post it note to my headboard to email you my stats on the 14th. I have not weighed myself lately because I have not made time to stop by Kmart yet. My exercise has not been as much as I had hoped this month. I have been parking way out in BFE at the hospital and walking forever to the hospital to try and get more walking in. Sorry, I know this will not help in the points department for us. I will try harder to get more in. But, I can say that the whoosh fairy is about to come because I have fat dimples and jiggly phat! Bring it on, pleaseeeeee. As far as water, I am way above my daily target goal. One good YAY for me, lol. I will make a point to check in more. Take care and thanks for being here. LCF...I'm so glad to see you girl!
I was worried about you. I'm sorry that things are not going well with your grandma and I hope your moms surgery goes well. Don't worry about points for the challenge. Just hang in there and do the best you can while you are dealing with all of this stress. I totally understand. Sometimes you just do what you have to do to survive. I'm so glad you checked in. |

Crap - I have missed several days of posts.
I need to get my butt in gear at the gym, each time I go there they pair me up with another newbie and walk us around showing us new stuff. I know how to walk and really, I feel like walking is the only thing that my heart can do right now, so I need now know how the pull up or chin up bar adjusts to my height...really dude it will be 3 years before I can pull up my own body weight. |
