Dawn your dinner really sounds yummy. I may have to give it a try sometime soon. WTG on getting in 60 minutes of exercise Yesterday. I did only 30 minutes and know I could have squeezed in a bit more but I was feeling extremely bloated and still do. I had too much beef smoked sausage last night. Today is a new day and I am starting off with drinking tons of extra water.

I am going to be going thru some of my recipes and thinking of making some stuff up ahead of time again to have for meals. I still have some of the chicken soup I made. It just makes is so much easier to know ahead of time of my choices. I have this deep freezer now, I might as well put it to good use.

Todays exercise will be 30 min. Leslie Sansones walk and Jog workout. Then, I plan on doing 14 minutes weights for my arms. I am also going to do some stretchies with my stretchie on my own that I found in a magazine. This should put me right at 60 minutes exercise for the day.

B~ vanilla atkins shake
L~ 4oz turkey burger dipped in 1 tbsp mayo and mustard (THANKS AMBER)
D~ md grilled chicken breast, 2 tbsp ranch, 1.5 cups cauliflower, 1 tbsp butter

As for me.. I am feeling great. I don't know what is doing it but I am actually sleeping much better at night. I don't know if it is cutting back to 1 cup of coffee a day.. ( a small cup at that too), or if it is my menu, or the supplements, but I feel like I am getting things done each day.. not just the basics... I am getting things deep cleaned... not all at once just a little at a time, and it hasn't felt like a huge struggle to just keep up with the daily stuff. I am even exercising everyday too... I took today off.. Sunday is my off day. But I am doing laundry so up and down the stairs all day long... Got new stretchy bands and Ryan did the 30 minute WATP tape with me yesterday... he did great.. my own little personal trainer!!

here is my menu for today
B~ 1/2 c whole grain cereal, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1 cup coffee
[1s/1p]
L~ Turkey sandwich on whole grain bread, lettuce & mayo, 1/2 grapefruit
[2p/1fat/1 fruit/2s/1v]
D~ salad, 1 cup chili, 2/3c green beans,1/2 c brown rice, berries
[2p/1s/1fruit/1fat/3v]

water so far got in 150 oz... will most likely get in at least another 32 oz... but more likely 64 more.
Took my supplements today...
no exercise cause of rest day.but I found some exercises to do with my stretchy band that I might try later tonight.. I will post it tomorrow if I do them... back at it full force tomorrow though...

Melissa your menu really looks yummy. I am happy that you are feeling much better now about your woe. Keep up the great work on the exercise. You are doing a good job girly. That is really cute that Ryan worked out with you Yesterday. Before long he will be all muscle man at the age of 4.


I got in 65 minutes of exercise today. I did two 30 min. workout videos and 5 minutes of weights for my arms.

My menu has changed somewhat. Instead of turkey burgers I had two small baked chicken thighs. It was really yummy. Dinner will remain the same as far as I know.


Amber where are you at today? I sure miss ya.

Kim I hope you got the computer running agian. We need to know how you are doing.

Finally going to get our new entertainment center put together and get the new tv all set up. Then dh and I are heading to get new speakers put in his car. He is such a big kid still. I probably won't be on much today because he is off and I won't get to see him for two days after today. He is driving up to his moms house and spending the night with hre tomorrow. SHe is having major surgery on Wednedsay. I don't know if he will be home that evening or wait until Thursday morning to come home. Either way, I will miss him. It is too much of a hassle for me to arrange sitters and stuff for the kids for that long or I would go with him.

My menu
B~ 4oz turkey burger, 1 tbsp mayo mixed with mustard

Hey Everyone!!!

Superbowl Party was a hit... may do it again next year...

my menu yesterday....

2 med. hamburgers w/ slice of cheese on each, 2 hotdogs, 1/2c faux pasta salad, 1 oz chicken, 1 small bowl of all beef chili...

I'll go to fitday and see if I need to do any pushups or listen to a song... I listened to that song just for good measure... Don't like that song... maybe I'm to old but can't handle it...

Todays menu
b; 2 med. hamburger patties
l: don't know
d: 2 hamburger patties, faux pasta salad...

Faux pasta salad:

Broccoli, Cauliflower, tomatos, carb options Italian dressing, Salad supreme seasoning... Some times I add cucumbers, black olives... but didn't yesterday... marinate the veggies for a few hours or over night... I make this alot in the summertime... only I use to make this with Pasta in it too... dd's are upset the pasta is missing now.. lol... but the salad was a big hit...

I'm still battling this cold... throat is killing me... so alot of water for me today...

Reva: I started taking the cinnamon capsules yesterday... I hope it works...

I will get through my 60 minutes of exercise tonight...

I have done 30 minutes already today of resistance band/ yoga/ pilates moves, and I may do WATP after awhile too...
I am working on my water... got 64 oz in already... and will get in probably a total of 150 -200 oz today.

Well I am off to get Ryan to school, then come home and eat lunch, feed the baby, and possibly get some more exercise in before my favorite show comes on...LOL I may be back after that... LOL

It worked... how cool

Well those are in 10 lb increments in case you wondered.....
They start at 227 which is what I am now.... down to 217, 197,187,177

I know my goal weight is 180...but I just may end up pushing for that extra few lbs... who knows I may go lower if I really don't feel right at that weight. won't know till I get there.
Sorry they are so big... had a hard enough time trying to get them hosted right... !!

Okay just had to let you know.... I got in 50 minutes of exercise today.... well MONDAY.... it is like 1am here now... I couldn't sleep so I got online to kill some time and hopefully get tired enough to head up to bed.

I am so glad I did though cause my mom emailed me and I got some great news about my sister..... she had just finished her chemo last week and she got her tests back today..... NO CANCER!! I am so happy I could just dance a jig right now. She has struggled for almost 2 years with this.... and she is such a fighter.... All I can say is Praise The Lord!! I have prayed and prayed for this day to come.... she goes back in a month to be retested...but they got it all as of right now...!! I can't wait to call her tomorrow. Okay well enough of my babbling... I will head off to bed now... catch you all tomorrow at some point... I have to take the baby for her 18 month checkup so it probably wont' be till after lunchtime.... but I will check in !!!

gm kids had a 2hr delay again this tme due to a power outage near the school. throws my day off lol dd headstart teacher was going to come today at 1:30 called and said she would be here at 10 so im rushung around. ill be here this afternoon.

Amber hope we get a chance to chat today. Yesterday was a very busy and hectic day. We got nothing done when we wanted and had 50 million other things that came up. We didn't finally get to pick our car up until 7pm last night. Quane left for work and then I won't see him until late late tomorrow night.

This evening Lil Quane starts anger managment for 12 weeks so my Tuesday evenings are tied up for a while. We are going to go visit my mom while he is there though. Cody is dying to go fishing again on Pa Pas computer.

Exercise today will be Walk and Jog with Leslie Sansone (30 min.) and then at least 15 minutes of weights for the arms.

B~ 1.5 cups lettuce, 4 oz taco meat, 1 tbsp sour cream, 1 thin slice onion, 1 tbsp salsa, 1/2 oz shredded cheese

L~ lc shake

D~ sm grilled chicken breast, 1 tbsp butter, zucchini

Total: 976
Fat: 59 530 56%
Carbs: 10 20 2%

Protein: 100 401 42%

Water will be at least 200oz

Amber there are many ways to make the tuna patties. I normally just take a can of tuna and draing it of course. I then add a egg white, celery salt, and garlic poweder. Sometimes I throw in some shredded cheese too. I then make a big patty out of it. I fry it in a bit of olive oil. Make sure the patty is good and brown on the first side when you turn it or it will fall apart. You can also make the tuna into two small patties if you like. I hope this helps.

Well I got a few hours to myself today....
Ryan had to be at school by 11am and he will be there till after 3pm today... they won a pizza party and then they are going on a field trip to one of those indoor places that they can climb in and around all those tubes and slides and stuff.
Took Elizabeth to the doctor this morning for her 18 month checkup, she is healthy as a horse, and weighs in at a whopping 31 1/2 lb, and she is 31 1/2 inches tall... LOL She had to get 4 shots.... 3 boosters and her chickenpox vaccine. SO I gave her some tylenol and put her up for a nap... she should sleep for a while today, she usually does on shot day.

here is my menu for today......
b~ strawberry yogurt smoothie, coffee

L~ turkey sandwich w/ mayo and lettuce, 6 cucumber slices, 1/2 grapefruit

drinking my water today and hoping to get in at least 150 oz today
Will do 30 minute watp tape in just a bit, and probably about 20 minutes of stretchy band workout too... just for the fun of it...LOL
So I will get in 50 minutes again today.
I got in 50 yesterday, I did 20 more minutes last night.

Well I should be on and off all day and into tonight...so if anyone wants to come out of Stealth mode on messenger... I am here.

ok I hope this worked... never can tell with me... This is my virtual model in 20 lbs increments....

yesterday went home sick... still not feeling well ... didn't exercise yesterday... went to bed.. will be exercising tonight... need to feel the burn...not sure of my menu yet...

definately will get in more than 200 oz today... This cold/sore throat is still trying to kick my butt... I might be winning...

Question:

I have one of those shrimp ring thingys... what can do with it? Can I fry them in some butter and maybe "bread" them w/ some parm. cheese??? How would that taste do you think? What else could I do with them?
