Morning people. It's up and early time!Get up you sleepy heads and haul your hineys out of bed! Or as my mom used to harrass us with: You gotta get up......you gotta get up........you gotta get up this MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORNING........you gotta get up.........you gotta get up........you gotta get up TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta love that woman!

Today is gym day and homework day. I have plenty of both to do. Gym will be around 2ish. I love going around that time. It's all cleared out from the lunch crowd and the evening crowd hasn't come in yet. I'm thinking Wednesday the kids will go with me and I'll go swimming after I work out. Lizzie (my oldest daughter) has 2 more basketball games. I'm kinda ready for it to be done and over with. Practices 2 nights a week and then her games on Saturday (which I now miss because of my clinicals) have been a bit much. Although I have loved watching her compete and learn the sport. She has done really well for having never played or really ever watched the sport. Their school PE program leaves alot to be desired.

Going to go write some organizing stuff down in regards to housework for the kids and I will probably be back later today for a bit. Hope you ladies have a wondermous low carb day...........

Girls, where are you? Karen? Shawna?

Anyways, I have been chatting with Debbie from Team 3 and wanted to suggest that we also chat with them. We stay a seperate team but mabye post with them as well - we would have a bigger group and that way it might address some of our problems that some of us have from time to time. Just a thought - they are a great group of girls.

Let me know what you all think.

Okay, so my day has been crazy. School until 12 and then work until 5 and now I'm home. Going to go and have some eggs for dinner and a salad. I have a meeting this evening at 7 so I will be there until 9 or 10. I will try to get back on once before bed to check in on you girls.

UGH sorry I haven't been on. I actually cooked dinner for the kids this evening then we took Chance to boyscouts and I attacked the gym with the girls. They played basketball and with the other kids while I tried to kill myself. I made low carb spaghetti and had a salad with mine. Amazingly I am having no trouble with portion control. I can't eat too much anymore. Posting with team 3 is not a problem for me. I know they are all a great bunch of girls. I got pms from most of them over my wonderful post that got me another warning. I'm guessin' I ruffled some feathers again. *sigh* I'm thinking I should not have an opinion anymore. So consider my posts dry and boring as they most certainly won't be controversial.

amber: Sorry you felt all alone today chica! I've been doing the mommy thing and actually cooked today. It was yummy. Made dreamfields pasta w/ no sugar added spaghetti sauce

karen: Hope everything went well for you today. Missed you posting.

It sounds like you had a great day with your children. So you liked dreamfields? I haven't tried it yet.

*waving at Debbie* Hey chica!!! So if I called you an Elizabeth "witch" would you know what I was referencing? Girl you are the bomb don't you ever let anyone even yourself say differently! I dig ya!

Morning chiclettes! I'm going back to bed after the kidlettes leave this morning. I'm tired! Workout yesterday felt awesome. The scale is doing that bounce thing again 314.5. But after not working out for 3 days what choice does it have when I start up hard core again. Can't take vacations like that too often. It's too frustrating

amber: Morning chicadee! Do you have school today? I don't have your schedule down yet so I can stalk you, but I'll get it! I'll be back to chat later.

karen: No post yesterday. I hope you are feeling okay and it isn't the weather that has you down and out.

How is y'all's food intake? Exercise? Water? Done the challenges?

Speaking of I watched Supersize Me and made the kid's watch it too. They don't want McDonalds ever again! LOL Something about old chicken with large breasts and fries that don't mold that scared them! Seriously though that was some scary stuff! Can you imagine what all those preservatives in that food do to your insides?? People who eat that all the time are pickling themselves! EEEEEEEWWWWWW! Pickled people!

I watched SuperSize Me months ago and have not touched McD's since. Those fries used to be my favorite fries in the world but never again!! I also haven't really eaten red meat since then either - I don't know why but that movie really got to me. Supposively there is another movie by some other people where the guy does the same thing - eats McDs for 30 days and loses weight. I guess like the Farenheit 911 and Farenhype 911 movies - gotta have both sides to the story to be fair.

Okay, my schedule is nuts. The general rules for it are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday I have class from 8-12 and then work from 12-4. Friday I have classes just for this month and then they go away and I will only work 5-8 hours each Friday. And Tuesdays will forever be my easy day - school from 8-10:30 and then nothing. So I'm home now! yeah! Then I have clubs and organizations that I"m involved with that occasionally have night meetings and work that sometimes gets overwhelming and forces me to come in on the weekends. But other than that, there's my schedule!

Okay, so I'm going to go watch some day time tv and eat lunch and then I'll be back to post before I start the homework.

Hey Karen! Hope that you are having a great day today.

Shawna - hope school is going well. I've been working hard today on my brief. I got it done last weekend but that was just a draft and now I have a few more days of working on it before it gets sent off. So these next few days won't be fun! I really am tired of working on it!

Hope you all have a great night - I'll try to pop back on here once more before I go to bed but I might not be able to b/c I have more work to do and might go out with a friend tonight.

Shawna - where are you? You have been quiet all day.

Amber - sounds you don't get tempted with over-eating or eating the wrong stuff when you are under stress. That's awesome.

spydersong glad you dropped in. Tell us a bit about yourself. Actually I suppose I should hunt down your teams 1st thread and find out about all you guys.

dvanbeus Hope you stay with the challenge but if it is causing some difficulties to rear their ugly head, only you can decide what is best for you.

I sent a PM to Stacy a few days ago and the tracking says that she hasn't logged on since Jan 16th. I don't know why she left LCF but either she is REALLY busy or she has left.

Well, I did well foodwise today. Not so well with the exercise but one thing at a time. I will get there.

'night all. See you in the morning.

Hi Karen: I've already made up my mind to leave this challenge, but I will be around for another three weeks for the other Challenge I am part of... I dunno yet what I will do after that. I suppose I will just wait and see how I feel by then... Heck, maybe I will even pass on my points to Katie at the end of the month... I mean I do have next to max in all categories and it'd be a shame to let them go to waste. I'll still pop in and see how everyone is doing though...

Hi from Team 3!

Do you mind if I drop in here occasionally? Deb mentioned that you have a great team. So do we, but we're down to just 3 members since Dawn and Debbie both left. Deb had suggested the possibility of our two teams merging unofficially. I was opposed to the idea at the time (I felt that we needed time for all the fur to settle down before we made any changes), but I may suggest it again to Katie and Crystal. Also, I didn't realize that you only have three members.

A little bit about myself. I'm female, 48, single, no kids, 237 pounds, one cat, currently not working and trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up.

Have a great day!

Hi simplemaw - So glad you posted. Feel free to post anytime wether or not there is some 'arrangement'. Actually, I am thrilled to have someone about my age. I'm with a bunch of younguns (Amber and Shawna you know I'm j/k). My name is Karen I am 46, married, 1 DS 13, and 1 DD ~20. Oh, and my weight on 1/15 was 254. I only weight 2x per month. I am currently struggling with the exercise. I walk for exercise and live in the N.E. It has been really easy to use the cold and blizzard as an excuse not to just get out there.

Well, it's getting to my beditime. Just wanted to make sure I checked in before bed.

Again, welcome Simplemaw, Spydersong, and dvanbeu. I will check out your thread tomorrow.

I'm so glad we cleaned house! We have company ladies! Welcome maw, spyder, and Debbie! Glad to have you visiting us. Yeah Karen is our resident grandma. Just kidding chica! I'm the spinster and Amber she is the youngster and engaged too! She's a liar in training.....ummm I mean lawyer! LOL I love that movie. Jim Carrey is a hoot! Anywho......I can't stay on too long. I am currently studying for an obstetrics (remember the long drawn out description Amber of what that is!) exam tomorrow. I finished my transition paper which is crap in my opinion and need to hit the bed for a bit before I get up early tomorrow. I didn't however want to turn in without visiting my friendlies. Thought about you guys while I was sweating it at the gym. I was hoping you were getting all gunky too! I think we ought to come up with some challenges within our group to spice things up a bit. I'll come up with some prizes and let's see what we can come up with as far as ideas. Something like.....Person who exercises the most times per week. Person who drinks the most water in a week. Stuff like that! Whatcha think ladies? I also include Team 3 in this as I'm sure we will probably be merging. We are two members shy of a whole team. Talk with ya in the am. Can't post individually this evening......crap it's morning now! UGH!!!!!

Okay girls - I vote NO to Maw joining us! She has a .... CAT!! J/k. I'm just a dog person myself!

Girlies, I have to get to school but wanted to pop in while getting ready to catch up with you all.

Shawna - good luck on your exam and paper. I'm sure it's not crap!

Karen - mommie...

Spyder - I love your picture - you're so pretty!

Debbie - I miss you already.

Okay, Weds. are my busiest days - I might be able to post around 12 today (ET) and if not then I won't be around until 5P(ET).

And NO Shawna to the drinking the most water challange. You only said that b/c you know you drink and unholy amount of water every day!

150oz is unholy?? LOL So I'm drinking unholy water? How about most pounds lost? I hopped on the scale this morning and 312 greeted me. That's 18 pounds since the first!

Just to let everyone know Shawn is unable to send or receive pms because the admins shut them down. If you need to get in touch with him you have to email him or post on their thread.

I have to get my picture taken today for our composite that will hang in the nursing building after we graduate. I am 75 pounds smaller than when I started, but still nowhere near where I wanted to be when I graduated from school. I will get there though. I have another 4 months!

Time to head to school and Wal-Mart. I have to get some tapes to record class today. School.....fun fun fun! Ugh I am not ready for this test.

Well, here we go AGAIN!!! More SNOW!!! It's coming down pretty fast right now. Suppose to last all day. They are saying 4-8 inches but I think I'm going to be at the lower end of that range

Shawna - I'm not sure how I feel about a competition. I'm kind of feeling like I would prefer a more supportive encouraging atmosphere than one where we are competing or working against each other. Just my initial reaction but I'll think some more.

Haven't gotten my act together yet so I haven't figured out food for the day but I will.

OK SpyderSong and SimpleMaw... where are you? I'll go check your thread now...

I'll be back later

Just a suggestions.... but how about just having a weekly topic of conversation... like when was the last time you had a temptation to go off plan, what was it you were tempted by, and how did you overcome it (or maybe Ithat should read DID you overcome it).

You know ladies, I am feeling oh so much better this morning! Just thought I would share that...

dvanbeus - I am SOOO thrilled you are feeling better today. I am also glad that you shared it with us.

Ya know, I'm kind of liking that 'topic of the week' idea. What do you other folks think. Either way, it's a great suggestion.

I am trying desperately to clean my house today while I watch the snow fall. I have actually set up a little reward system Like if I get the kitchen clean then I can have 15 mins on the 'puter, ... Is that silly or what? So far it's working though.

OK off to check a couple other threads and then back to work.
