well...I'm not sure...and I love it just the way it is...when I opened the file, it was some kind of viewer thing and the first image was the license plate, then the next ones (and there were a LOT) were just random images (maybe from my cache? lots from this board)...anyway, so I saved the one I was looking at and chose that as my avatar - thought it would be the license plate, but it ended up being what you see... Did I mention that I love it?

5...that is strange. The email should have just had one file that rotated. Oh well, it doesn't matter...as long as you like it.

Thought I'd post a friendly reminder...I actually posted this on the last thread, but it was at the very end so I don't know if anyone saw it...and it bears repeating since this thing is a competition. I recently re-read the points charts for the challenge and wanted to make sure everyone was aware of this HUGE deduction...

Less than 500 minutes exercise/month = minus 100 points

Just wanted us all to keep our eyes on the prize!

I only need one more day to get past the 500 minute mark for my exercise for the month. I do body flex and WATP for abs: 1 mile, five days out of the week and rest two days. It seems to be working. My hips are slimming down and my upper abs. I wish the middle would go away faster but all in good time. I did not gain it overnight so I cannot expect miracles overnight. But bring on the wooshing I say!

My water intake is on target too. I feel so much more energetic and cannot wait until I visit family in June. My goal is to be at LEAST 50 lbs smaller. So that is my motivation for now along with being part of this group.

I am going to start only weighing myself once a week. I like the build up and agree having the scale around seeing it, does keep your mind focused. I will be getting TOM right around the end of the month. So, that means I need to bust my booty between now and then so I can make sure that my numbers stay down.

I am so proud of everyone on this team and happy to be a part of it.

Jumps up and down like on Shrek...I'm here.. I'm here! I was uhmm at the gym, that is right. I am remodeling today and trying not to get on the scale since I went to once a week weighing. I drank some last night so I need to exercise like crazy to make sure it comes right back off.

I am off to paint now. Talk to you guys later on.

I'm so glad to hear this! I know you are relieved!

I feel like I've been away forever. 2 day meetings shouldn't be allowed. No one is listening after the 3rd hour.

I've missed you guys and I'm glad to be back.

How great you are all doing.

Fluff - I would like to report that I have full filled one January credit by watching the movie - Super Size Me - I felt sick watching this guy get fatter and fatter and really, this was an EYE Opening movie.

Wish I had know there was going to be an "F" work, the sh1t word and some talk of peni$ and stuff or I would have not let my 5 year old watch with me, yikes -

All the things that they talked about the marketing etc, it is all true and I never realized how much they were herding us in like cattle -

I thought it was my choice to go there because they had a nice place for the kids to play, I never realized that it was a marketing scam they were winning me over with.

I believe the guy said it all right when he said, "My mom cooked at home every single night of my life." and then they showed a family sitting there all skinny people sitting and playing in the pictures together.

When I was eating my Mom's home cooking food, I was thin and healthy as well, when I started feeding myself from a fast food window - that was when I started packing on the pounds.

YIKES, that is a lot of exercise, isn't it????

Well, if I figure it right, it is about 17 mins a day and really, I am WELL over that so maybe not.

How are all of you stacking up on the points??? I am under for exercise and water and need to beef up -

Still need to do the doughnut thing too...can we buy some for other people while we are in there??? Is there a time limit to how long we can sit there?

Wow - I just re-read the points fact post for this challenge and I felt like I was reading a tax worksheet - lol - very involved to say the least. Fluff, I want to post some of my stats / points here so that I don't slow you down.

Exercise - I do 45 mins X 3 days a week = 540 mins = 35 points

Water - I drink 80 oz/day X 30 days = 2400 oz = 35 points

Movie points I have earned = 25 points

Weight loss is 4 points so far

-20 points for a diet caff free coke each day (sorry)

Never am I over carb limit - 30 a day for me

I reported stats on the 15th

+15 points for reading that post for January - it was full of good ideas and tips and I enjoyed it.

Thanks for the update Lavigne. I will see exactly what format Sweets needs the info in and let you guys know before the deadline.

Supersize me was an eye opening experience for me also. Has anyone not watched it yet? Sorry that I didn't warn you about some of the language. Honestly, I didn't even think of it because I watched it with DH. I will keep that in mind for the future if we have to watch any other movies.

Is this still where we are posting this week - no one has been posting here today??

OK - well, I need a good kick in the rear to get my a$$ moving. I have not been exercising this week and I plan on making it all up tonight.

My weightloss is so slow, I am so sorry guys that I slow you all down...I will get better at this.

For some reason ever since I had the baby I am out of control with eating. I have no off switch or something.

I find that I was sneaking food and eating in private all the time again and lying to myself about what I am going to eat.

Actually, to be really honest, I cheat about once a week and I know that sometimes it knocks me out of Ketosis and I lose 3 whole days.

Today has been o.k. - I am getting ready to have my salad - I hate salad.

Sometimes I just want to eat a huge footlong subway with chips and a cookie like I used to chow down on all the time.

I am sorry to depress some of you, this WOE is very hard for me and I do struggle each and every day.

I guess I just felt like rambling a little bit.

As long as I am fessing up today about some cheats that have been slowing me down, etc.

The supplements that I talked about last week - they are not really supplements - they are Phentermine that my SIL got on a website that she wanted to start taking and I told her that I would take them with her.

Frankly, I was hoping that they would give me the energy that I need to get it into gear. I can make lots of excuses for myself, but I won't.

I have been stressed out this week and maybe that is why I am a little down today.

I know that I am not prepared enough to win this battle - I don't have lots of low carb foods in the house, $$ has been really tight and tater tots are way cheaper than frozen veggies. I eat grean beans from a can like 2 X a day...It just seems like all over my house there are chips and cookies and breads and biscuits and stuff.

I live with DH and 2 boys, that is not going to change and our grocery budgets are so small, We share a ribeye (the 3 of us) and when I make pork chops I have to cut the bones out myself and so the extra work keeps me from cooking any extra because I am always strapped for time.

Anyway, these are excuses and things are keeping me from my goal. I think on the way to pick up the kids today I might stop by the grocery and grab some things just for me...

Thanks for being here guys - I always need you!!!

Lav - I read your post and smiled because I could relate. This week has been a struggle for me too. I was not going to weigh myself because I wanted to do it once a week. Well, I gave in and weighed and got so depressed because I had gained 2 lbs. I have been busting my bum to stay under 20 a day. I truly struggle some days because I have munchers in my home. My DH and DD both can snack all day and never gain squat. They are both very active and eat little snacks a few times a day rather than alot of meals. Part of my problem is I was only eating once a day in a huge amount and that caused my body to store up fat. So I work really hard to try to eat smaller meals more frequently during the day. I do good for a few days and then I think oh I can eat this and then just exercise more to take it off. Pffft. Ya when hogs fly! So, I am working on being consistant and accountable to my word. Something you wrote in your post kicked my brain into thought. When or if I cheat... it may be a moment of weakness but it costs me 3 WHOLE DAYS!!! I have never thought about that before. I know I have to get back into ketosis but I would tell myself, I can fix it later on or restart tomorrow. Boy, was I fooling myself. I just gave up 3 WHOLE DAYS. That is so not worth it to me. So, thank you for letting some of your words hit home for me. I am truly happy we have this board. I have lurked for so long and this is probably the hardest thing yet the easiest I have ever done for myself. Even though it is for my family too, I have always been one to give and put myself last. The mom thing, I guess. To learn to love myself and realize that if I do not put myself first, I may not be here to make sure they are all ok. This is one big mental challenge for me too.

Thank you all for being here. Lav, do not worry about being a slow loser. As far as I am concerned, it would be great to be the winning team, but as long as you Ladies are hitting your goals and moving forward, I am excited about that. It will be wonderful to look back after the year is over and know that we all did it together and are the new shiney versions of ourselves.

Oh-- we have a tight food budget too and one way I found to get my veggies in,is to buy them frozen. They do not have all the sodium in them and you can use them as you need to. Wal mart has their brand in frozen veggies and they are good and cheap. I think I get them for about $1.00 - $1.50 a bag. And there are so many mixes and types. Check them out. That is how I tell myelf that I can afford to get them rather than to give into buying for the whole family cheaper and pushing my needs aside.
