OK...Folks!!!

It is accountability time.

I am going to start asking that everyone post at least once a day. With that I want to see menus. For the next week every one is to post EVERY thing that enters your mouth. The good the bad and the ugly.

I also want every ones goals for the next week.

Here is what I want:

EXERCISE: (how long/how many x's per week)
FOOD: (how many carbs/if your watching calories or anything else post it also)
WATER: (how many ozs a day)

You may PM this to me or you may post it here. I know for myself I need to be accountable to someone besides myself. I know I am not the only one who needs this.

Lets do this for one week and see how every one is doing and if they like having the accountability.

I journal my food, calories, carbs and stats...and chart the stats! So that is not too hard to do! My eyes sort of glaze over when people key their menus though LOL.

Points

I am curious where we are point wise.

DD Experience or equivalent: 20 pts
Super Size Me: 25 pts
Inspiring Article: 15 pts

Have you lost any points?
Diet Soda made with something other than Splenda (-1 pt for every can)
Caffeine drinks (-1 pt for every 12 ozs)
Going over monthly carb goal (-30 pts)

Water: What are you averaging per day?
Exercise: What are you averaging per day?

I will post my in just a bit. Jarret will hopefully log on and do his later also.

I did all the bonus pts.
I get in 25 mins a day workout
I get in 100+ oz. water
Carbs are under or at 20

This week I would like to bump my exercise to 30 mins a day
water- 125 oz
carbs - still at 20

That is my goal for the new week

I post all my food exercise and water at fitday.

Do you still want me to post it here too?

Would you please? You can actually copy and past it so you dont have to rewrite it. I want to keep all of us accountable.

Your workout is every day?

After I have every ones goals this week I am going to make a post with them so we can be reminded and ask each other about them. I am feeling very competetive now since we are starting to turn in stats. It is starting to become real.

Please know that I am not asking this all of this to be a pain. I want EVERY ONE here to succeed and be their BEST.

I love you ladies and well of course my husband. I am praying for you all.

EXERCISE: 1.5 hr 7 days/week I am committing to doing 1 hr on the bike and then 30 mins of walking with my children every afternoon.
FOOD: <20 per day
WATER: 200 ozs

I figured out what I need to do to make sure I earn EVERY point for this month. So the above is what I MUST do to earn it all. So I will report to you all every evening and let you know how it is going.

Why because you have read so many?

I think it makes a good habit of keeping a journal. This is something that I do not do every day. I need to. So now I must. I also know that it helps me to see what others are eating. This way I can get ideas.

DD Experience or equivalent: 20 pts 1 down, 1 to go (was waiting til payday!)

Super Size Me: 25 pts need to rent, payday again.
Inspiring Article: 15 pts read

Have you lost any points?
Diet Soda made with something other than Splenda (-1 pt for every can) 0
Caffeine drinks (-1 pt for every 12 ozs) eek! -7 tea
Going over monthly carb goal (-30 pts) easily under

Water: What are you averaging per day? 100
Exercise: What are you averaging per day? about 25, will kick it up! but I have to be real careful here to not overdo.

I'm aiming for that bonus if you lose 15 pounds or over!!

(I tried, but my office has been freezing and the hot tea is nice. What I did do was cut down from 4 teas a day with lots of S&L at work or Splenda at home to 1 tea at work with no S&L and no tea at home.)

Something from the social board for those of you not checking it...

Weight can fluctuate as much as 6 pounds in a day! This is due to glycogen in the muscles, retaining of water, time of month, the meal you just ate, whether or not you've gone to the bathroom recently… give your body a break!

Plus, in order to gain a pound you'd need to consume 3500 calories ..and you'd have to continue consuming those calories on a regular basis... so it's impossible to gain 3 pounds overnight.. that's 10,500 calories.

This is what you'd have to eat in a short period of time in order to gain 3 pounds:

2 Big Macs
8 slices of Pizza Hut cheese Pan Pizza (large)
2 single Butterburgers from Culvers
2 regular Cinnabons
6 grande sized non-fat cappucino's from Starbucks
2 small size honey burbon chicken sandwiches from Quiznos
6 original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts
2 Taco Supremes from Taco Bell
8 Original recipe chicken wings from KFC
2 Whopper Jr's from Burger King

that does not give us license to eat any one or two or three ... line items from the above forbotten list, however ...

Some other interesting facts:

You can store up to 5 pounds of fecal matter in your body.
You can store up to 1 pound of water in your bladder and 3-4 pounds in your stomach, other areas.
During your bloated TOM (whenever it comes) you can store 3-4 pounds of water weight.
High salt consumption can store 1-2 pounds of water weight
Muscle water weight (if you just started exercising, etc) can store up to 5 pounds of water/glycen? weight.

I guess I have read a lot. So many on the board eat things I can not or will not.

Due to the Candida I can not have cheese except mozzerella, mushrooms, anything aged. Due to the thyroid I can not have soy, Atkins bars. Due to stalls I am avoiding as much chemicals, sweetners, calories, etc.

But I do read the recipes

I just cooked up a package of pork loin I bought at Sam's Club. Wow, virtually no waste, only 1.99 a pound. MMMMM flavored it with various spices including fennel. I sliced it up and sautéed it for lunches, mid-morning snack/breakfast at work.

It makes me so crippled it is extremely painful to walk. Just before the challenge I consumed a large container of plain yogurt over the course of one day and had a big die off which helped a lot. Then, duh, I forgot and had Blue Cheese salad dressing so it is acting up a bit but not quite as badly.

I was planning on getting some acidophulus but I don't know if this paycheck will cover a trip to the health food store. I looked at the coconut oil treatment but never had the money or inclination to order a gallon of oil.

I know there are other things but what I looked at seemed to run around $200 if you bought all their supplies.

Hello everyone, I am back in my lovely Carb Free Environment!

Going up to my folks place was hard! I did ok, I think I over did it on low carb snacks. Almonds, cheese and SF chocolate....

I have been on the road so my water intake today is low, only 50 oz so far but it is only 1:00pm I will get it in.

Breakfast - All meat omelet cup of coffee with 1/2 & 1/2

Lunch - Slim Fast Low Carb Shake

Dinner - Going to a dinner party, not sure what she is serving but know Korean Ribs is one legal thing on the menu.

I will post all changes as they occur
getting off to do my workout .
