IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*********ALL CHALLENGERS PLEASE READ***************************

Hi everyone! I have a few announcements, and instead of the chance of a post to each thread getting accidently looked over, I decided to start this thread to make the announcement in the hopes that everyone would see it. Also, I would like feedback as to the decisions that have been made regarding the challenge.

UPDATE NUMBER ONE:
The men and women will be competing separately in individual challenges. I know for the women this is a "woo hoo" because we all know how the men lose faster and it just seems impossible that any of us could keep up with them... point taken.
So this means that there will be one woman grand prize winner for biggest transformation, and one man.
For the men, this is a "woo hoo" because it means you're only competing against the men, which I think there are around 20 of you...) instead of the plethora of women as well. I hope everyone understands the reasoning with this....

So there are two categories for each prize now...
Biggest Transformation Male
Biggest Transformation Female
Most Pounds Lost Male
Most Pounds Lost Female
Most Inches Lost Male
Most Inches Lost Female
Team Winner of Most Pounds Lost

UPDATE NUMBER TWO:
Winners will only be allowed to win in one category. It was brought to my attention that this would be the only "fair" way of doing this. In other words, after everyone who wants to be considered for prizes turns in their 12 week challenge pics along with their stats and pics along the way, it will be determined who had the most pounds lost in the men's group, and most pounds lost in the women's group. I will also pull out the woman and man that lost the most inches....
Then I will go through and look at pictures along with other judges and pick "finalists" of who should be considered for biggest transformation ******BY THEIR PICTURES******
The biggest transformation category winners will be chosen FIRST as that is the grand prize.
THEN after that winner has been selected, the winner for most pounds lost and most inches lost will be selected from both the men and the women.

If it so happened to be the person that won biggest transformation grand prize, then the prize for most pounds lost would go to the person under them, that lost the most pounds.

With me so far???
Same with inches. If the person that lost the most inches already won in a category, then the prize would go to the next person on the list.
In other words, only one prize per person.

As far as separating the men and women is concerned, it has NO EFFECT on team stats and team competition. Everything is the same there.

Also, There will be a ONE WEEK break between the end of the challenge, and announcement of the winners. Not only is it the Thanksgiving holiday, but also it will take that long for everyone to get their pics in, everyone to look at them along with the stats, and pic the best winner. I hope you all understand.
If you have any questions, please post them to this thread.

I want to say I'm very proud of all of you thus far - I have only had one person drop out, and that was due to personal family issues and that was the first day, and I was able to replace her.
I do look through the company threads, and have to say I'm pleased with everyone's enthusiasm, dedication and motivation and TEAM EFFORT! I LOVE seeing the teams getting psyched about it and talking their game... that's part of competition.
I can't wait to see how you all do... good luck.

Bran

i'm happy to hear about that week grace period. i think i will be going to my mom's house and her stupid husband won't let me use the computer. he locks the door to the bedroom the computer is in so that i can't go in there. a$$ hole. if you can't tell, we don't get along.

i feel better now that i don't have to worry about whether or not i would be able to get my stats in on the day the competition is over.

I have had several people ask to do another 12 week challenge to get through the Christmas holiday...we'll just have to see what the response is and how this one ends up...

Either that or a short challenge to go through December with a New Years Day weigh in. There is almost 6 weeks there.

Start the new year with a smile!

I'm game if there's another challenge but then first we have to go through this one and see our results.

Thanks for the update, Bran
