Low Carb AND No Gluten!?
![]() I have had limited sucess with low carb in the past, as well as gluten free. I have never actually combined them. I just finished reading 'Wheat Belly', and I think I am gluten sensitive in addition to being carbohydrate sensitive. Now that there is gluten free bread available here -I HAVE to have a sandwhich or wrap because I eat while I drive 10 or more hours a day- I will try combining the two approaches for the first time. My goal is to shrink my belly by an inch or two. Its not that its fat-it is just distended like a pregnant lady. Hopefully this works. Has this worked for anyone else? Thanks for all the support. Hope you had a happy Easter-Spring is coming but still snowing here![]() |

May I ask why it must be a wrap or sandwich?
There are lots of portable foods that you can have for lunch on the go that don't involve any sort of sandwich. |

Hi
I dont get meal breaks and I have to eat while I drive, or am stopped for a light or in slow traffic. There is a 'one hand on the whel at all times' law here and I know other drivers that have been ticketed for eating out of a container. Last edited by barrycudda; 04-06-2013 at 08:36 AM.. |

You could always make unwiches like Jimmy John's... wrap the sandwich contents in lettuce leaves instead of a wrap or putting it on bread
Your belly issue sounds like my dad's though... do you drink alcohol at all? My dad's belly is solid, and I've heard that this is the "liver" body type metabolically. This makes perfect sense for my dad because he drinks rather heavily and also takes prescriptions which are taxing on his liver. If you push on his belly it's like a pregnant woman's... no squishy fat, just rock solid. I'm not sure what LC can do for something like that if you're the same, but it's definitely worth a shot! I know LC is generally really good for fat loss. |
