glutenized!
not me- my 6 year old. He isn't Celiac- but is gluten sensitive. We have been GF since Christmas. Luckily- he can tolerate the occasional exposure- but Tuesday he got too much ( at the dayhome- long story) UGGG. He is an emotional, crying, tempermental mess. I haven't seen him like this since we started GF. I had always been skeptical about the behavioural reactions to gluten- but I am now a true believer- it's like someone just flipped a switch. I know in my case my stomach will hurt and I'll become lethargic and depressed immediately. Anyone else have a behavioural reaction or seen one in their kids?

I have both behavorial and physical symptoms. I get "spacey" if I've had gluten...my thinking becomes unclear and I do get cranky, lol. My physical symptoms are pain and a host of varying other symptoms.

I get fuzzy-headed and very very *****y and emotional on top of my outright physical symptoms.

yes and yes! ugh! If I accidentally get glutenized, I've noticed that taking Benadryl that night before bed and drinking plenty of fluids helps clear it faster and helps with symptoms.

My son is Celiac and I definitely notice behavior issues if he had gotten the smallest amount of gluten. He is like Jekyll and Hyde if he is accidentally exposed.
