Anyone with wheat or gluten intolerance?

Is a skin rash on your face part of the symptoms?

Three weeks ago I started adding in whole wheat bread to my diet. And now, for the first time in my life, I seem to have acne in several places on my face. I also feel achy in the joints and a little like I have the flu. I wanted to know if there was anyone with first-hand knowledge.

TIA
Tammy

Funny you should mention this. When I added wheat/gluten back into my diet after about a year of hard-core LC'ing, I started breaking out in itchy little blisters. The first patch was on my wrist. Then there was one on my thumb and another on my inner arm. I stopped eating the wheat/gluten and it all cleared up. Prior to eating LC I never, ever had an issue with wheat. Oh yeah....and now it also bloats me to no end. So if I ever decide to eat bread, it's gonna have to be white.

I just stopped in because my mother has this intolence (developed in late years of her life). If the break outs are from wheat intolence, if you don't stop the break outs will become severe. Hers seem to get worse with age -- I am interested because I do not have it yet but have a feeling its coming.
