anybody have gluten intolerance?
Hi
I am new here and have been doing South Beach for a month with limited success. I am still working out some kinks but my question relates to my husband - he has Celiac disease (also doing SB) and we are trying to add a carb here or there but I don't have much info on the crazy grains we have to use to do pizza for example. He is doing well on the SB but wants to occasionally have something breadlike... just wondering if anyone out there is going thru the same thing |

A lot of us on the board have Celiacs. I tend to just avoid all grains, but I do make a lot of desserts (some pretty bread-like) with almond flour. It's great for sweet things; not so good for non-sweet things. The recipe discussion list has a lot of recipes for almond flour baked goods.
