Sneaky forms of gluten?
Hi Everyone,
For those of you with Celiac Disease or gluten sensitivities, what foods or spices have you found that surprisingly had gluten? I'm trying to find out what sneaky sources of gluten might be out there that I am not aware of yet. THANKS!!! |

Have you discovered the Celiac website at www.delphiforums.com? They list EVERY known source of gluten in food, and even have a medication list of known glutened meds. It's absolutely indispensible to the Celiac patient.
There are some Celiacs that cannot have cassein...it acts as gluten. I'm one of them. I have to be very, very careful when buying cream cheese, and other fresh dairy items....if they contain cassein, I'm 'doomed'. Pam |
