anyone gluten intolerant?

If so what are your symptoms, and what kind of low-carb foods do you eat?

Hi Matt

I have gluten intolerance. You know how you feel just before you get the flu? I get fatigued, a slight sore throat, headache and blood sugar swings. I also retain water like crazy when I eat it. Something I've noticed too is it puts me in a VERY bad mood. I get mood swings and depressed. Also, my acne went away when I dumped it.

I had these symptoms on and off for years before I found a doctor that put me on an elimination diet. When I added the wheat back in...BAM. I found my culprit.

Food intolerances cause different symptoms for everyone. Our bodies react to the allergic substance in difference ways.

I stick to meat, veggies and cheese. I can't do any of the lc breads, mixes, shakes or pasta cause they all have gluten.

If you want to talk feel free to PM me. Good luck to you.

Hi you two!

I'm gluten intolerant too! I basically eat meat, veggies, eggs, and cheese. I, in the past, was fine with corn products like tortillas, nacho chips etc. I also could eat rice based food like rice crackers, rice pasta. I used to bake with rice flours, tapioca flour, potato starch, and almond flour.

To be honest it is so east for me to stay low carb, because eating wheat products (cakes. cookies) were out anyway. Gluten free foods are so expensive, I would avoid most of them but rice bread.
