Just started CO and ACV today
Hi Everyone. I am so happy to have found this forum. I have fibromyalgia and a host of other issues. Since April I have had 4 vaginal yeast infections and all the creams perscription and non have not helped. I started on the probiotics about 3 weeks ago. So I have an appt with my doc (who is very good with conventional and nonconventional approaches to health care). But in the meantime I found this and read through the suggested thread and I went right out and bought my CO and ACV. I am going to stop drinking wine and as of today started Atkins. I would like to lose 20lbs but if I can get myself just feeling better and the vaginal infections to stop I will just be happy with that. Having energy I will be able to exercise consistantly, which I cannot do at this time, therefore losing weight is even harder. I also started on Armour Thryoid about 5 weeks ago. Have not really noticed any change with that. Anyway, I just wanted to give my story in a nutshell and hopefully I am on the road to recovery. Thanks!

Good luck with this.
Start out slow with CO, it can make you feel sick if you take too much at the beginning - work up to larger quantities. I also take oil of oregano, garlic or grapefruit seed extract (I think these are anti-fungals - someone will correct me if I am wrong) I rotate these supplements - I don't take them all at once. I switch when I use up a bottle. |

Thanks for the info. I am starting slow with everything. Going to take 1tbs. CO daily and 2 tsp ACV daily to start. I take the probiotics 2x per day with no troubles. After about 3 days if all is well I'll up the CO to 2tbs per day and 4tsp ACV and so on until results are achieved. If I feel I need to add in the other suggested supplements I'll take those slow. But wanted to start with this "base" first along with the Atkins diet. So far today that has gone really well. In fact I just finished a delicious dinner of seared ahi tuna on top of green salad with a bit of olive oil and ACV drizzled on top. Very good.

Colleen, welcome to LCF's. Your fibromyalgia may just improve with low carb. I have a lot less aches when I do low carb.
