Without a sweetheart, one wonders what to do with Valentine's Day. Maybe something special from me to me...but NOT anything chocolate!

Might be a great day for me to spend on my feet, giving feet (and hands) a soaking and creaming.

So many of us do very little for ourself. Selfish? How bad a thing can it be, to take good care of one's own Self? By caring for ourSelf, we learn to offer care to others. Competent is one of the words that comes to mind as I attempt to explain the radiant feeling I get as I drink my morning hot slosh ~ 40g of protein in two scoops of WPP with a spoonful of espresso and a spoonful of raw cacao powder to cut the sweetness of stevia in ALGittleman's vanilla WPP. I still am astonished at how it hits me, how empowered and successful I feel as I am suffused with a sense of competence and of being capable of nourishing myself.

Gives me quite a thrill, feeling competent.

In so many arenas I'm baffled and do not feel the least bit competent...
