I Totally Despise it!

I'm sorry to say that I cannot, CANNOT do Callanetics. I need lots of movement and noise. Sidesteps, grapevines, kicks, and skips. I even took my before belly shots, frontview and sideview...and let me tell you that's always depressing.

After checking the pics and picking my dignity off of the kitchen floor, I felt the need to exercise and I turned on Callanetics for day 2. There will be no day 3 or beyond because it's going back to its home at the library tomorrow.

I need exercise to be fun and vigorous with lots of hopping and bobbing to loud, pulsating music;...

Carb Cycling Amounts.

Here are my numbers for the past 3 weeks.

03/14 LC day, calories 1532 with 20 net carbs plus 16 carbs of fiber.
03/15 LC day, calories 2408 with 26 net carbs plus 24 carbs of fiber.
03/16 LC day, calories 1904 with 24 net carbs plus 21 carbs of fiber.
03/17 HC day, calories 2356 with 77 net carbs plus 34 carbs of fiber.
03/18 LC day, calories 1480 with 20 net carbs plus 17 carbs of fiber.
03/19 LC day, calories 1746 with 13 net carbs plus 21 carbs of fiber.
03/20 HC day, calories 2234 with 76 net carbs plus 45 carbs of fiber.

Carb Cycling is Working for Me!

I'm down from 190 to 186, which amounts to 4 lbs in 3 weeks....and YES, I WILL TOTALLY TAKE IT AND OWN IT!

AND although my jacket is still uncomfortably tight when it's zipped, my formerly tight pants now fit me very nicely!

My doctor was so pleased with me and how I looked, nevermind that my blood pressure, sugar, cholesterol, and thyroid levels are all normal and healthy, and that's with me taking the combo and ingesting 3-4 of coconut oil every day for more than 3 weeks. I will be going for more in depth blood work but eating red meat, bacon every day, and lots...

News Update: Week 3-Day 4 is really Day 5! *head slap*

I'm chalking this mistake up to my hormones too!

I have spent 5 months with my carbs at below 20/day before climbing the carb ladder and I wasn't sure if carb cycling would be a shock to my body. Nevertheless, my good people, I did decide to have two high carb, high calorie days a week and let my body adjust to the change without the benefit of the scale.

Now for the news. I am 2 days shy of completing my carb cycling experiment but since today is April 1st and the start of a brand new month, and because I'm finally heading to my much delayed doctor's...

Week 3 - Day 5

Day 19 is a low carb, low calorie day.

Yesterday as part of the carb in my high carb day I took less than 1/4 cup of frozen strawberries (thawed), and added them to some whipped cream. It was absolutely divine! Seriously I think it may have knocked cupcakes with frosting out of the top spot on my list of best treats, EVER!

Menu:

Meal 1 - Bacon & Eggs, ACV
Meal 2 - Cottage Cheese Cereal
Meal 3 - 4 oz Steak with Sauteed Veggies & Goat Cheese Crust.
Meal 4 - Cottage Cheese Cereal
Meal 6 - Gr. Beef & Sausage with...
