Reassessing Fitness Goals

Posted 05-19-2008 at 07:39 PM by violettfem
I lost 3.5 lbs this week and I know that my success is from pushing myself w/ the exercise last week. I really enjoyed challenging myself beyond my limits but now that I am cleansing I need to take it slow. Your body can go through some pretty rough stuff while getting all the toxins out and I am already dealing w/ a very compromised immune system and other health problems.

I need to cut back on my exercise on days that I am 'out and about' in the world. At least while I am on my Cleanse (24 days to go LOL). I NordicTracked for 35 minutes and did upper body weight. It was a little too much because I went to an appointment and went shopping at 2 different stores.. My new fitness goal will have to be only 20 minutes aerobic on days when I am out running errands and keeping appointments, at least till I am finished w/ the herbs.

I need to remember that this is a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHANGE and not a sick race to lose massive amounts of weigh in a short time. That kind of eating disordered thinking is how I got so sick in the first place.

IN other thoughts I wish we could have a weight loss tracker in our sig.
